“Walking by The Lab on our way to Leaps and Bones, I always look at the creative menu posted in the window of The Lab. Today my pup got some treats and I took home a sandwich that was spectacular! I’m sure my pup and I will both get treats every time we go to Factory Square in the future!“

“The water damage in our conference room came from a pipe in the ceiling that had been slow-leaking over a weekend. Monday morning we came in to wet ceiling tiles and standing water on the floor. They were there within 2 hours of my call, extracted everything, and had drying equipment in place before our first afternoon meeting. The room was back in use by midweek.“

“I stopped down here the other day after reading about the place on some reddits for having good cheesesteaks.

Boy was I not disappointed. This is easily one of the best cheesesteaks CT has to offer and I have tried many.

The fries were hot and crispy, the onions were not overbearing chopped up nicely, the meat was seasoned beautifully and everything was made fresh and hot. No bad bits or chewy bits in the steak and great flavor.

Staff was super friendly, place was clean. As soon as someone gets up they clean it.

“After a wonderful meal on New Year's Eve, we returned to BRT for Valentine's Day dinner. The food was off the chart delicious, from the calamari with blue cheese and hot peppers to the shrimp scampi with mushrooms and bacon. Not to mention the incredible tiramisu. Amanda was our server and was attentive all evening. We sat in the middle dining room, which was warm and cozily lit. The new owners have definitely succeeded in turning this restaurant around.“

“Good service with very attentive waitresses. Food is delicious and cooked perfectly. They do have size options for the pancakes so if you are not into giant pancakes you can downsize. Atmosphere is comfortable but not overwhelming. The price is a nice plus to coming here, even though they only accept cash, but that keeps their prices down.“

“We had my daughter’s baby shower at Lola’s. From the start of booking until the day of the shower. So easy to work with. The day of the shower, we were greeted with such warmth and truly our waitress for our party, Becky, was fantastic. Catered to our every need and was so beyond helpful. She worked very hard and was so pleasant! The food was amazing and plenty of it! Guests went back for seconds! Becky even went above and beyond for my mom who couldn’t eat something and prepared a new one just for her. Truly a gem of a place! “jimmys food is excellent! however I was there for the 1st time last week, our waitress was not friendly with us. no personality, no smile..brought our food put it down walked away, said nothing. then 5 mins later, as she was walking by the table threw the receipt down, said nothing. Never came to see if we needed anything else or how the food was, she never offered desert, so we didn't get that. I had to go to the counter and ask for a box, as again she never came back to the table. there were only a few tables full, so she wasn't overly busy, meanwhile I'm watching the other waitress there, smile and laugh with her customers. I wish I knew her name, because she definitely needs to learn people skills. ohh I also heard her complaining to a customer who she must've known, about her training someone and now the other girl is waiting tables and she was not happy that this girl was doing her job basically 🙄“

“Outstanding restaurant! (and we do a lot of our dining in NYC!) Local 63 is an oasis in Watertown, CT in a variety of ways. The food is creative (even when the dish SOUNDS traditional). The chicken fried steak (hard to even find in New England) is outstanding. The salads were awesome: perfectly dressed with great crunch and freshness. The Cassoulet (originally a French farmhouse dish) with chicken, in-house sausage, and white beans cooked to perfection is something you will not find in many other places. Great bar--friendly atmosphere and great for large groups and celebrations. This is a hidden gem with excellent service and owners who obviously care! I will go back and bring many other guests here when I have a chance.“

“I ordered a filled bagel and a cupcake. The service was very friendly and warm, and quick though there was quite a queue. The bagel was excellent, great taste, with a small side salad. The cupcake was really moist and beautiful, the buttercream very creamy, and tasty all-in-all, though very sugary! I would recommend this place for the excellent bagels and kind service, and the cupcakes for the ones with a sweet tooth. Maybe an idea for the future to have some sweet products that don't pack quite as much sugar, but I'm definitely coming back for another bagel!“
