“This is easily one of the best Subway restaurants ever. The sandwich tastes good. They even look like the commercials.

As I read the other reviews, the bad reviews sound like the other Subway down the street. ;-)

“Was visiting New Haven last weekend (from Brooklyn) and had the pleasure of eating at Olmo not once, not twice, but three times!! For breakfast, every morning of my visit. The bagels so good, the menu so mouthwatering, the people so kind and welcoming— I couldn’t stay away! And I’m still thinking about it a week later…

The first morning I got the Hot Pastrami. It is, and i cannot stress this enough, DELICIOUS! A generous helping of pastrami—rivaling that of Katz Deli—paired with a mind-blowingly yummy spinach-artichoke schmear and some pickled onions sandwiched between a sesame seed bagel. Cannot recommend enough.

The next morning I had to try a new schmear (the schmear selection is thrilling). I went with beet and dill veggie on an onion bagel. Crunchy, refreshing, sweet. Yum.

I am a creature of habit so, despite my desire to try the basil feta schmear, the third morning I went with the Hot Pastrami again. Turns out lightning can strike twice, it was just as delish the second time.

This is a place that clearly loves their clientele and their craft. They were communicative, efficient, and so friendly. You immediately feel welcome. A must visit for any bagel lover who finds themself in New Haven!!“

“My whole family is now obsessed with these sandwiches. Twice we have tried other good sandwich shops in the area when you were closed and well…next time we will just sit on the porch and wait for you to reopen. No other cutlet compares. :)“

My croutons were stale, the bread was stale and tomatoes along with the cucumbers tasted like theve been sitting out from the night before. I doubt chicken was freshly made. I’m so disappointed. “Highly recommend Bobette’s, they offer delivery off their website and have been regularly ordering their soups, salads and sandwiches- the Turkey Cobb Salad is my favorite and I actually crave it weekly, lol and love the Barley Soup. Also get the Chicken Orzo and Chicken, Broccoli and Cavatelli Soup. Also recommend the Steak or Chicken Quesadillas. I have an older parent whose very picky and she never argues over any meals from Bobettes. Each order has been perfect, fresh ingredients and just tastes good.“

“My Daughter graduated yesterday (Mother’s Day) from WCSU. To say that it was a very special day would be an understatement. I decided I wanted to enjoy the day as much as possible, I did not want to cook nor did I want to be rushed out of a restaurant because of the holiday. I wanted to enjoy my guests and my daughter’s achievement without time limits or oven timers. After seeing a friend’s post recommending DiBella’s Catering, I immediately went to the website to see what their catering menu offered. I was instantly interested and called Destiny to help me customize one of their packages to our needs. Not only was she knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions, she helped me put together an incredible menu with as much enthusiasm as I had. When my son arrived to pick up our order, it was ready, fresh, beautifully presented and all set for transport. Everything was absolutely delicious from the salads to the cookies! Our guests LOVED everything and I had no problem giving them Destiny’s contact info for their future catering needs when asked. I know I will be calling her again myself. Thank you Destiny and DiBella’s for allowing me to enjoy one of the most special Mother’s Day ever. 🙏🎓🌟🥰“

“I want to preface this by saying I'm really really picky about deli meat. I NEVER eat it. However, after having surgery this week , this just sounded good so I tried it. I was actually blown away by how good this was. The meat was fresh, not slimy like most deli meat is and they were very very generous with toppings. The person working was super nice and patient and took his time making the sandwiches. I was impressed by how clean it was too. This was more of a good deli feel as opposed to a chain sandwich place. “I have eaten in hundreds of different subways across the country and the owner of this one got it right.She is always there working harder than the people she hires open to closing time. The reason some of these places taste better than others is purely timing. If you dont have an owner paying attention to this then you have employees overstocking. You have to have bread and vegetables fresh not prepared early in the day and sitting around going stale. You absolutely have to gauge your floor traffic to product or you have a bad tasting sandwich.Anyway yes I`m fat and have a love affair with food,but only good food.So if you want a well made sandwich that tastes good go to this subway“

“I love dibella’s sandwiches when they’re made in person however, when ordering online for pick up they’re not too attentive to details . Last 2 times I picked up my order they made them incorrectly. I paid for extra meat & cheese and both times I got neither 🤷🏼‍♂️“

“Stopped here on the way back south. Decent Subway with super friendly staff and generous with ingredients. When line got long, she got another worker from back to help. He wasn’t talkative, just really efficient at making sandwiches! Saw her work with a deaf person and she was great at pointing out ingredients and confirming the right choices. Good stop.“

“I just have to say I love Jersey Mike's Subs. They beat the pants off of any other sub place that I've been to here in Connecticut. Make sure not to ask for anything extra until you've eaten one ( they don't skimp) And if you're ordering online Try to make be sure to be very specific about what you want and don't want on your sub. The bread stands up to the sandwich. Personally, I always get my sub "Mike's way" I'm sorry to not be able to review the hot Subs. But I just absolutely love their Italian sub. “The persons that work here are the keys. They make you feel so great every time you go there. They remember your preference of orders so well and create a smooth conversation while they are serving your order. I totally recommend getting a chance to visit this Subway at this location.

“I go every day to get coffee from my faves, Shelia and Camille! The Chai is my go-to, but I sometimes get a Caramel Macchiato from them if I need some more caffeine. Only issue is they always run out of bagels and pastries by around 11am and I'm lucky if I can get anything like that later on. Probably the best dining hall station on campus, but go early if you wanna get something to eat. They need to get more food inventory.“

“I have never seen a place go to the extent of prep that these workers did to ensure my wife was safe from a gluten allergy. Literally wiped down every piece of equipment and surface that her food touched. I was picking up for her but I know she’d be super appreciative of the care and concern for her allergy. “I usually go this Subway once a week, well I recently found out there was one closer to our home so I tried to go to them. #1 I was lied to about the time they close and didn't get anything to eat and #2 the girl making the sandwiches was rude and refused business when they were still open for an hour. Bad for business. I should have never tried a different location because this location always does a great job (I'm aware that my order is annoying because I'm super particular and they never complain). They also close at the correct time that's advertised which is 10pm. I usually write a review for every business I go to and I should have wrote one sooner but never did. Being lied to by the other store on whalley, closer to Amity, made me realize how much I appreciate this store!“
