“The lobster, crabmeat and mussels are very refreshing and delicious that my husband ordered the mussels twice. We've been there for lunch, but we know that the view at sunset time would be very gorgeous! They have only one server, maybe because of the holidays, but she's very attentive and helpful.“

“Creative menu and excellent food and service. Time limit for dining though is bush league. I want a leisurely, relaxing atmosphere, and don't want to be having to keep an eye on my watch. Ordered a glass on wine instead of a bottle so wouldn't have to rush drinking. Also skipped dessert and an after dinner cordial because the clock was running out. Otherwise a very nice place. But I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. (Unless you enjoy eating fast).“

“Fine Dining At The Beach!The combination of the food, service and atmosphere make for a great dining experience. Every table has a great view of the bay and sunset. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy evening we visited. Our server Taylor was fantastic, great knowledge of the menu and upbeat and friendly. We had great service even with a fully packed restaurant on an offseason Wednesday night. The food was fantastic, perfectly seasoned and exactly as ordered. A great place for a special occasion or very nice evening out.“

“My fiance and I (finally) got the chance to eat dinner at Melissa's. The food was delicious! We got specials all around... a trout dip for an appetizer and for entrees Salmon/Swordfish Fish Cakes and Lobster Ravioli. Normally I shy away from ordering ravioli out because I never feel like you get enough food. The portions were great and we left stuffed! Which was a shame since we didn't have any room to try dessert. :) Our service was also amazing -- it was a Monday night in the off season (so they had one waitress manning the whole place), but we never felt like we had to wait to get her attention. I'd highly recommend for a nice date night!“

“We were here during bike week. We had 10 people at the house and everyone had a craving for a boil. The young folks at the steamers and counter were awesome, not the typical millennials. They were professional and fun to talk with. The wait was only a short bit and off to home. Everyone said it may have been the best meal the entire trip. “My wife and I shared a pizza and wings. It was the perfect amount of food. The uncle Joe pizza was just fantastic, the pizza sauce and the meatballs had great flavor and highly recommended. “Ordered takeout here on a rainy Wednesday. Online ordering was straightforward and pick up was convenient (reserved spot right in front and a pick up window on the deck). Food was good, but nothing spectacular imo. The greens were my favorite part of the meal. Mac and cheese could have used some more flavor. I would try again dining in because sometimes that's a better experience.“

“Honestly. In my experience, if you get a crab cake at most restaurants in OC, they are quite often mediocre ( there are exceptions). I find if you want a terrific, all lump, fresh, properly seasoned crab cake, there are two carry outs, Uptown eats on the north end and Captain's Galley on the south end that have excellent crab cakes. We live nearby and get food from Captain's Galley regularly. Excellent crab cakes. They also have delicious homemade (I assume) potato chips (think Thrashers), excellent Cole Slaw and their Mac and cheese is out of this world! Highly recommended!“

“We had dinner for four on a Thursday evening. The crabcake dinners, fried oyster dinner, and the buttermilk fried shrimp dinner were delicious. Our appetizer of calamari hit the spot. Our only complaint was the cream of crab soup did not have enough crabmeat in it so it was bland.“

“The green tomatoes needed the remoulade otherwise devoid of taste but that is my only complaint. We got the fried shrimp special and they gave 10 very good jumbo shrimpies. This may be an off season special only. I came here specifically for the blue catfish po boy and it was delicious. So do your bit and get down to JRs Seafood Shack to help eradicate this invasive species.“

“After stumbling out of a nearby establishment leaving because of bad service. We looked up places for an afternoon beer and food. Found this amazing establishment, walked up the stairs and into the bar and instantly felt at home. Whole staff was topnotch instantly made you feel welcome. If I'm ever staying nearby again in OC, will definitely comeback!“

“Came here for my 44th birthday and really enjoyed it. The portions were huge, great value. We started with the crab dip, which was big enough for 4. It had huge chunks of crab. The pretzel sticks weren’t the easiest to navigate with the dip but were themselves good. I had the house special potato crusted salmon. My dad had the prime rib. We both were happy. There was no room left for dessert unfortunately. Decent wine selection but beer options were limited. Would definitely recommend, especially when their outdoor patio is open.“

“We have been coming to ocean city for over 50 years and this meal was one of the best. We started with scallop appetizer which was incredible. For our meals we had the crab cakes and lobster Shepards pie and both meals were amazing. We ate every bit. We rarely get dessert and decided to indulge. We had the key like cheesecake and cobbler with ice cream and was so glad we did. Everything we had was perfect. We will be back.“

“First time dining at this restaurant after having been so delighted by DiFebo's Market. Dinner was fantastic! Our party consisted of three. The braised short-ribs over wild mushroom risotto was amazing. My husband had the calamari fra diavolo (he cleaned his plate). My mother-in-law had Pop's cioppino and LOVED it! We split a tiramasiu...will definitely be going back!! Our waitress, Mindy, was first class fun as was the entire staff.“

“We are out-of-towners and chose this restaurant because it was across the street from our hotel and we could order takeout online. We placed our order and shortly after the manager or owner called apologizing that they were out of an item we ordered online. (They were extremely busy and couldn't turn off online ordering). He offered me to order whatever I wanted to make things right, I asked for an app and desert. He even offered a drink on the house. When my husband picked up the food he said everyone there was so nice. Our food was incredible, the breading on the fried food was delicious and crispy, the salad was fresh, and the mozzarella sticks were gigantic and so good. “Wheelchair accessibility: It is not spacious inside but a wheel chair could get inside. My husband is in one currently so I do notice. It is winter here but there is outdoor seating available. The ground is crushed shell outside and super cute but not wheelchair friendly for a standard issue hard wheel type that we are using. My niece's wheelchair has inflated tires and could manage it if desired. We have dined outdoors there but usually we do "to go" as the name implies.... we are looking for "To Go" when we get food here. Always great food, nice staff, reasonably priced and actually very fast in and out.“

“My friend and I are from New Jersey, so we were a little confused about how to go about purchasing crabs the Maryland way. The woman at the window was incredibly nice and worked with us to figure out how many crabs we needed for a dinner of 4 and how to store them for our 4-hour drive home. While waiting for our crabs to be steamed, we peered over their tank of young blue crabs while she explained that they had a mere 4 hours after molting to collect them for soft shell crab. Following her instructions led to the successful delivery of delicious crabs, making for a very pleasant first experience with eating whole crab. Will be back next time we visit Assateague!“

“Belly Busters has been here for a long time. Any place in Ocean City that can stand the test of time is usually worth a try. Belly Busters is really, really good and so much fun to visit. It's tiny inside. The music is pumping. I only knew this as a sub shop but they have quite a selection of seafood also. They have beer on tap and by the can. Everyone was having fun including the employees. We had good food and a good time here. I will be back for more.“

“I had a good experience at DB fries, the food was good, the fries were yummy, we got our food quick + it was pretty affordable! Me and my friends went to DB fries around 4pm on a Tuesday. There was no wait and our food came out pretty quickly. We had previously went around 8:30 pm and they were out of everything... make sure you go early! I got the crab cake sandwich and it was pretty delicious! It came with lettuce and tartar sauce. I'd happily get this again. I really liked the vibe of the place, the walk up and order concept was cool to see so close to the beach Overall, great experience“

“This is our go-to spot for AYE crabs, crab soup, shrimp, crabcakes, oysters, clams in Ocean City, Maryland. The owner/waterman catches his product and sells it in his own restaurant in the Fenwick Island shopping center. Been several times when ever we get to the beach and never disappointed. Octopus was cooked perfectly, which commonly gets murdered at most restaurants. The Scampi was perfect. Not some heavy cream based slop like America is used to. The Asparagus Puree Soup was another delicious option. This is definitely somewhere we will come back to next vacation.“

The seafood is super fresh and really easy to prepare using the included cooking instructions. “We had an outstanding experience at The Reel Inn! We’ve been coming here for years, but this year the food has been absolutely outstanding! Such a difference! We’ve been coming back more often, because the service is outstanding, the food is great and the atmosphere is awesome! I’ve been getting the crabcake with shrimp and it is now my go to. The potatoes are done perfectly and seasoned just right. The squash and zucchini medley is perfect as well! The breadstick was so soft and done just right. Will definitely be back as this is one of our favorite restaurants in Ocean City, Maryland. This place is getting busier and busier so I would definitely call ahead for seating.“
