“When I first walked in I felt like I was at home. I was greeted with a very warm welcome. I ordered the salmon platter it comes with shrimp and rice with collard greens. Oh my my I was in heaven. It was DELICIOUS ? My first time going there and I will be going there again. This is my favorite place to eat. Thank you. God “
“First time here and found the whole experience awesome. I want to hear some Live music in a bar atmosphere and ended up with an outstanding steak dinner. The service in the bar was excellent and the live.Music with whiskey graves was also spectacular. My first time there but I will definitely be back. If you're on the way to the beach, it's a great pit stop.“
“I'll get the one issue out of the way. This restaurant was mobbed (for all of the right reasons) and the parking is chaotic. There. We were a party of six. Several food preferences and allergies that make us a stress on a server. Our server was Erica C. She was amazing. She was attentive, helpful, and amazingly efficient as the restaurant was hopping. Great personality as well. A mere mortal server would have been overwhelmed. One of the partners, Chris, was on the floor. Restaurant was run really well for as busy as they were. He was great. The food runners didn't stop.Bar had a nice selection, prices good, pours were generous. The food was terrific. Interesting and varied selection through all of the courses. Well prepared and everybody loved their meals. We came because our friends tried Cool Springs and took us there. We heard about the prime rib for a week before our visit. Five of the six of us ordered the prime rib. Lived up to the rave. Apps and deserts were just as good.We never felt rushed as we enjoyed a very nice evening. We would not hesitate to recommend Cool Springs and cannot wait to return soon.Dietary restrictions: Cool Springs accommodated our group (and we're not so easy)! Nothing was a problem to the restaurant.Parking: Parking lot is very busy. Be prepared to jockey for a space.“
“Traditional diner atmosphere and food, taste good and good portions. Service was good even though they were slammed, food came out when expected not a long wait. Would recommend and will eat there again. A hidden gem away from Dover craziness.“
“I was pleasantly surprised! I literally have not tasted food this good in any part of Delaware!! I had my client come over to get food and omgggg soooo good! Btw come to Building Hairstories for all your knotless, loc extensions and braiding needs ☺️☺️back to the food!! Soooo good!“
“Understand this is a small town diner so expect that. The owners are slowly making improvements to a once dated facility. We have become weekend "regulars" and occasionally go there for dinner. Saturday mornings can get busy so don't expect "fast food" times as the food is made to order. Additionally you may have to wait for a table as they can fill up during certain times.“
“I have been going here for over 15 years. It is one of my favorite places in Delaware. The atmosphere is 10/10. The beer, friendly nature of the workers, owners almost always on site keep the quality consistent. The seafood is so fresh and clean. It is the kind of place where the "locals would go" if you asked one of us where to eat. Sit on the porch, listen to music, bring you dog (if its friendly) and enjoy a beer and some good seafood. You can't go wrong. It's a true Delaware gem.“
“I recently started trying crab cakes and someone recommended this place. Absolutely awesome. The food was great and the staff were very accommodating. The crab cakes were the best I have had so far. My wife had the shrimp and it was equally as impressive. Their beer menu was smoked as well. I will definitely go back.“
