“We are traveling for my husband’s job and staying at the hotel across the street. We were happy to find out their special on Thursday is 25% off your entire bill. The staff was very friendly, and our server, Lucas did a wonderful job! I ordered the Fried Tomato and Crab Stack with a side of pimento cheese grits and my husband ordered the stuffed lobster tail with hush puppies, tomato cucumber salad and the shrimp gumbo. All of our food was amazing! All of the food was well seasoned. The grits and the crab imperial inside the lobster tale melted in our mouth. We had quite a bit of lump crab meat with our meals and didn’t find any shells… that’s a big pet peeve of mine! I couldn’t believe how big the stack was, we took a lot of left overs with us! “We went to the NorthEast Seafood Kitchen for a birthday dinner. Even though they were full, they worked us into a table to accommodate our crew- including two toddlers and a two-month old. We really appreciate getting seated so quickly, especially with the kids in tow. The food and drinks were amazing and our waiter was awesome and patient as we dealt with our kids 🩷 10/10 would go here again!“

“While on vacation we took our daughter here for her birthday, along with a couple of her friends. Everyone there was extremely nice and friendly, but not overbearing. The food, how can I put it into words? You absolutely have to try the creamy crab soup; your tongue will be forever grateful. Crab cakes are some of the best you'll find. I had the fish tacos and all the wonderful flavors were almost overwhelming. If you are near Bethany Beach and are looking for great seafood with a nice atmosphere, I can't recommend the Blue Crab enough.“

“You would think all you can eat fresh steamed blue crabs 🦀 would be enough…but this place also includes local sweet corn, hushpuppies and fried chicken. Plus all the dipping sides your heart desires like butter, apple cider vinegar, cocktail sauce and remoulade. Authentic crab shack vibe where they just dump the crabs on the table and give you a shell bucket and roll of paper towels. Cheap prices and a friendly staff. This place is not to be missed.“

“Big Fish Grill is one of our favorites at the beach! The food is always excellent, as it was this time around. The chicken carbonara, surf & turf, and charcoal shrimp were delicious meals that our family enjoyed. In addition to the great food, our service was the best I can remember. Robbin, our server, was attentive to our needs, bringing our daughter extra lemons and getting the kitchen to do her grilled shrimp without the "spices". She was so pleasant and as our daughter stated, "she's the best server ever"! We'd agree. Wonderful spot, wonderful food, wonderful service!“

“Our family loves Rippons! We live locally and have supported many local businesses for steamed crabs. We have found that Rippons has the best steamed crabs! Last weekend we ordered a bushel of crabs, all were heavy, full and fresh, not one had a “paper shell” or mushy. “This is a really great family restaurant and one of the few places where I find the prices to be very reasonable for parents. The games are mostly a bargain and the kids can win good prizes (claw machines on easy mode). This restaurant group keeps everyone happy at all their locations.

I wouldn’t mind a unique vegan option on the menu but that’s a niche request.“

“We dined at One Coastal over the weekend. We had four people in our party and everyone ordered a different item on the menu. Food was fantastic! I enjoyed a simple pasta dish that was the most delish meal I’ve had in years. I shared with everyone at the table and everyone loved it. My husband had the pork chop and reported that it was delicious. My daughter had the scallops and said they were perfect. Her boyfriend had the flank steak and it looked terrific. But my pasta was PERFECTION!“

“The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club: A Delightful Dining Experience Last evening, we had the pleasure of dining at The Tide Room at The Shore Beach Club in Ocean City, Maryland. Our reservation was for 8:15 PM, and despite potential parking challenges, we found it surprisingly easy to find a spot. The restaurant’s recent remodel is evident as you walk up the stairs into the inviting dining area. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted at the hostess stand and seated immediately. We appreciated the choice between indoor and outdoor seating, and the variety of seating options available, from semi-circle couches to large arrangements for bigger parties. Our server was attentive from the start, quickly providing us with water, drinks, and menus. After a brief look at the menu, we received a thorough rundown of the evening’s specials. The noise level was perfect, allowing for a pleasant conversation, and the open-air setting provided a comfortable breeze. For appetizers, we chose the crab dip and crab deviled eggs. While both were enjoyable, the crab deviled eggs stood out as the better of the two. I also tried a drink called “Lost in the South,” a refreshing blend of lemon and bourbon that became my favorite part of the evening. For the main course, I opted for the boardwalk fries with a crabcake, a dish labeled as an Eastern Shore Maryland specialty. It was served with tartar sauce and met my expectations with its classic flavors. To finish off the meal, we each selected different desserts. The restaurant’s take on the Maryland Smith Island cake, a cookies and cream version, was a delightful surprise and possibly even better than the traditional version. I highly recommend trying it if it’s available. Overall, The Tide Room offers a wonderful dining experience with excellent service, a comfortable atmosphere, and delicious food. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ocean City.“

“We had a few meals here and the waitstaff was lovely. We had Maddie as a bartender and she was *amazing*. We also enjoyed the male bartender (sorry I forget his name). The male manager, with the short, spiky hair was a little off putting. When I wanted to give a compliment and asked if he was the manager he gave me an attitude. The bartender outside also gave a little attitude at 9 PM. But overall, we enjoyed the food and our time.“

“Food was great. Tuna appetizer was delicious as was the salmon. My only issue was with the espresso martini. It wasn’t cold as you’d expect from being mixed in an ice shaker. Instead of espresso, it seemed more like watered-down coffee was used. It was very watery and did not have a very strong coffee/espresso taste. Reminded me of an iced coffee that sat out too long. Won’t order that again. Also, there were NO prices on the drink menu so we either had to ask about each one or just take a chance it wouldn’t cost too much.“

“We visited the Crab Bag Gift Shop while at the beach last month and the customer service was excellent! They did not have what we needed in our size so the manager,Julie, offered to order and ship it to us. She was extremely helpful and pleasant. The store has a large variety of anything Maryland and of course anything to do with crabs, if you haven't done so already you should definitely check it out! We also ate at the restaurant, and the crabs were some of the best we've ever had.“

“My family and I frequent Bethany Beach each summer and Bethany Blues has become one of our absolute favorites. We typically order carry out but this most recent trip we decided to dine in and I wanted to write this specifically in regards to that experience. Everything was delicious, they were super busy but we still got our food quickly and correctly which is always a plus. The manager for the evening came around when our waiter informed him that someone in our party had a gluten intolerance. The manager came over and was so friendly, and knowledgeable about every item on the menu and exactly which items and sauces contained gluten and which did not. For someone to take this extra time and attention for something that at other restaurants is commonly overlooked meant so much to us, we wanted to be sure to recognize and give credit where credit was due. Thank you and we will absolutely be back on our next trip down! ☺️“
