“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍“

“My group of five just returned from lunch at Di Paolo’s and, my goodness, they absolutely nailed it. Our server, Eri, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun—he made the whole experience feel personal rather than just another lunch service.
The fall cocktail menu deserves its own mention: creative, extensive, and delish. The Pumpkin Spice White Russian was the unanimous favorite at our table.
Most of us went with the three-course lunch special for just $20 (with one holdout who understandably couldn’t resist the famous crabcake), and we were truly impressed. Soup or salad, an entree, AND dessert for $20 feels almost suspiciously generous these days. The salads were fresh and flavorful, portions were substantial. The spicy rigatoni was excellent, just the right amount of heat. The salmon and shrimp entree was another table favorite.
And perhaps the smartest part of the whole deal: leaving with a delicious dessert. Lunch now, little treat later. Perfect.
A huge thank you to Eri for the great recommendations and stellar service. Excellent food, creative drinks, generous portions, and an experience that felt genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Five stars all around—we’ll absolutely be back.“

“Great pizza with eggplant! As I was leaving I saw a display of arancini (rice balls filled with meat and cheese) which I added to my order. They were excellent, highly recommend them! I will ask Luigi to make a few more of these!!“

“Italian kitchen is a great one stop shop for all your catering orders. I showed up to pick up the sandwiches for our church lunch and I had put the wrong date on the order!!! They were able to accommodate me and worked like crazy to get it done. The cake I ordered was superb!!! If it had not been for the kindness of this store today, I don’t know what I would have done. The cashier, God Bless you. You went above and beyond to fix my mistake. Love you all!!!“

The bread is great and the sauce was really flavorful. The arrancini balls were good.
The pasta was a bit dense and the gnocchi had a slightly weird taste to it.

“Sabatina's knocked it out of the park for my husband's birthday. we ordered a couple of sandwich trays and chicken tenders and everything was fresh and outstanding! the ladies in the shop even helped my daughter and I carry our food down the street since it was DE City Day and Clinton Street was blocked off. “We have loved enjoying the delicious food at Cafe Valentina. We have been coming here for more 15 years. We feel like we are dining at one of the finest restaurants in Italy. We were missing Fortuna and Giuseppe for the past six months but finally tonight we had the pleasure to see them at the restaurant. Everyone should come here and enjoy their delicious food. It is real Italian food and they have good prices.“

“Ordered the lamb shanks with risotto and the pasta with mussels, clams, shrimp and calimari. The food was phenomenal, well seasoned and packed with flavor. One thing kept this from being a 5 star review....the bread. I wanted to sop up all of that delicious seafood broth but the bread was not edible. Think Olive Garden breadsticks, but WAY worse. Chalky, flavorless, horrible texture. So bad that I told the server not to bring anyone else that bread for the rest of the evening.“

“Update: We have lived here nearly a year and this is still our go-to place. My oldest daughter is now vegan and they custom make her vegan breadsticks. Love these guys! We order from here usually once per week. Their plain pizza is classic. I think they put cinnamon in their crust—there is something special. It’s the only pizza that all of my kids like. Win! Oh, and the guy that answers the phone and does the register is always so nice! Highly recommend!“

“We visited last night. We were greeted right away. The service was so good. I had Shells Aurora. Simply amazing. Pasta and chicken was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend didn't see chicken marsala on the menu. only chicken parmesan.He asked and they made him the chicken marsala. So good too. We ordered wine. I had the Cabernet and he had the Pino Noir .Both wines were rich and savory. Very tasty. The floor manager even came up to make sure we were happy. That was very nice. we received the check and the server boxed up our food for us. The check really was not expensive. I paid and gave a 25% tip. I normally don't care either way with itailian resteraunts but this place was so nice. Rustic and warm atmosphere, pleasant staff, and amazing food. Will visit again for sure.“

Our server, Kay, made the experience even better with her friendly, attentive, and welcoming service. She made sure we had everything we needed and truly went above and beyond. “If the Concord Mall is a dying husk of what it once was, Café Riviera is an oasis in the desert. We've been stopping in this little hidden gem for more than 20 years, but hadn't visited in a long while. Tonight we made a special trip, and were greatly relieved to find not only are they still open, but the food is still top notch. We were seated right away by friendly staff. Server was attentive and obliging. Our food took quite a while, but it was obviously made to order and totally worth the wait. There's not much our family of four can agree on, but we all came away happy. Amazing pizza, beautiful calzone, delicious garlic knots. Serving sizes were more than we could eat, plenty of leftovers to bring home. In a fast-changing world, it's nice to find some things exactly the way you remember them.“

“Mike B. was our waiter and we enjoyed his service. He was down to earth and he opened up to my table about some of his personal experiences. Mike also recommended some great places to see while we were in the region, since we were visiting for a double relative’s funeral. The sites he recommended really lifted everyone’s down disposition from our funerals. It was just what we needed. Thanks Mike, your service made our whole trip all the better. “Recently hosted a 60th Birthday celebration and treated a large group of friends & family from Mazzela’s catering menu. I highly recommend Mazzela’s Italian Restaurant for all special occasion food needs and for any time that you are in the mood for the best homemade tasting Italian foods! Everyone at restaurant was friendly and very helpful, which made ordering and pick up convenient and easy. The menu selection was great and all of the food was delicious and was done to perfection! “The pizza here is genuinely amazing. Like, it’s not greasy or over seasoned to the point that it’s sticking all over my fingers. It wasn’t burning my mouth. The pepperoni was spread nicely. And I got my slice pretty fast. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able try other things in the menu, though I usually go to pizzerias for their pizza.“

“The morning/afternoon crew is the greatest! They make the best pizza around. But if you order after 6pm not so good! Whoever makes the pizza then is afraid to use cheese!! Can you have the morning guy (probably the owner) teach the late day guy how to make pizza?!“
