“Scalessa's gave me 2 great things. The first was the happy flashback of eating at Priori's at home. The secons was that Scalessa's food was out of this world. I had the Four Cheese Gnocchi which bards would write poems about. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness of this fine establishment! I will definitely come back when I visit my sister again.👍“

..spinach& strawberry salad, 14 Oz new york strip steak with a brandy and pepper corn sauce,potato, fresh asparagus...wife had shrimp rossoto ....cheese cake and death by chocolate cake for dessert.

“Italian kitchen is a great one stop shop for all your catering orders. I showed up to pick up the sandwiches for our church lunch and I had put the wrong date on the order!!! They were able to accommodate me and worked like crazy to get it done. The cake I ordered was superb!!! If it had not been for the kindness of this store today, I don’t know what I would have done. The cashier, God Bless you. You went above and beyond to fix my mistake. Love you all!!!“

“The best pizza in Delaware. Veal marsala and eggplant parm are delious along with all their other dishes like tortellini and mussels. the friendly wait staff that remembers your name and what you drink. Just simply the best Italian place to eat and don't forget to get a cannoli or tiramusu“

“The owners are really nice and serve all of the food themselves.
The bread is great and the sauce was really flavorful. The arrancini balls were good.
The pasta was a bit dense and the gnocchi had a slightly weird taste to it.
The carpet makes the restaurant feel very mildewey and has a smell to it.“

“We visited last night. We were greeted right away. The service was so good. I had Shells Aurora. Simply amazing. Pasta and chicken was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend didn't see chicken marsala on the menu. only chicken parmesan.He asked and they made him the chicken marsala. So good too. We ordered wine. I had the Cabernet and he had the Pino Noir .Both wines were rich and savory. Very tasty. The floor manager even came up to make sure we were happy. That was very nice. we received the check and the server boxed up our food for us. The check really was not expensive. I paid and gave a 25% tip. I normally don't care either way with itailian resteraunts but this place was so nice. Rustic and warm atmosphere, pleasant staff, and amazing food. Will visit again for sure.“

“Everything about this place is perfect, esp. the food, we got the short rib, if it's on the menu I always order it, this has to be one of the best I've had. It was an Asian style, with chopped bok Choy, the meat fell apart, so tender. The asparagus and little gem salad was shared, and also perfect, I give them 10 for food. Service was impeccable as well. I wouldn't hesitate to go back!“

“If the Concord Mall is a dying husk of what it once was, Café Riviera is an oasis in the desert. We've been stopping in this little hidden gem for more than 20 years, but hadn't visited in a long while. Tonight we made a special trip, and were greatly relieved to find not only are they still open, but the food is still top notch. We were seated right away by friendly staff. Server was attentive and obliging. Our food took quite a while, but it was obviously made to order and totally worth the wait. There's not much our family of four can agree on, but we all came away happy. Amazing pizza, beautiful calzone, delicious garlic knots. Serving sizes were more than we could eat, plenty of leftovers to bring home. In a fast-changing world, it's nice to find some things exactly the way you remember them.“

“Mike B. was our waiter and we enjoyed his service. He was down to earth and he opened up to my table about some of his personal experiences. Mike also recommended some great places to see while we were in the region, since we were visiting for a double relative’s funeral. The sites he recommended really lifted everyone’s down disposition from our funerals. It was just what we needed. Thanks Mike, your service made our whole trip all the better. “Update: We have lived here nearly a year and this is still our go-to place. My oldest daughter is now vegan and they custom make her vegan breadsticks. Love these guys! We order from here usually once per week. Their plain pizza is classic. I think they put cinnamon in their crust—there is something special. It’s the only pizza that all of my kids like. Win! Oh, and the guy that answers the phone and does the register is always so nice! Highly recommend!“

I highly recommend Mazzela’s Italian Restaurant for all special occasion food needs and for any time that you are in the mood for the best homemade tasting Italian foods! Everyone at restaurant was friendly and very helpful, which made ordering and pick up convenient and easy. The menu selection was great and all of the food was delicious and was done to perfection! “Me and my wife have been trying new pizza places recently and this week we picked Milanos. We orders the chicken bacon and ranch pizza. Overall the pizza was solid. Crust wasnt chewy or dense. The pizza wasnt greasy and we were impressed at how nicely the toppings were distributed and didnt overpower each other. We will be trying other pizzas going forward. 10/10“

“The morning/afternoon crew is the greatest! They make the best pizza around. But if you order after 6pm not so good! Whoever makes the pizza then is afraid to use cheese!! Can you have the morning guy (probably the owner) teach the late day guy how to make pizza?!“
