Firehouse Subs in Jacksonville

“I recently revisited the store again (08/26)and I can say it has been a remarkable improvement the staff was friendly and they did not force me to use the one kiosk. They even spoke to me like I was a person and not just another reason to have to be there. Ill leave the previous review to show that great staff can make all the difference in the experience. (Prev review I live next door and once came often and the staff was friendly and helpful. Now they seem to be like a beaten puppies and as far as I can tell simply refuse to interact with customers unless forced. The kiosk definitely made this possible and will probably be the death of this once great place to go. I hate to see it go but it is of my list now.)“

“The manager, Benny and staff are always very friendly and helpful. I really appreciate them. It is so nice walking in and immediately being welcomed into their store. This is definitely my go to lunch spot. Pay them a visit sometime. You won't walk away disappointed.“

“I like ordering at kiosks. I can be much quicker that way. Attendant was very attentive and noticed I grabbed too small a cup. Appreciated it more when I didn't have to get up for a refill. And of course the food came out promptly and tasted perfect.“

“This was my first time going to this location. The first thing I noticed was how spacious it was. They had more than enough seating. The cashier was very helpful and the sandwich maker was polite. The food came out quickly and had no issues. Will definitely be going back again!“

“I eat at and do deliveries for many Firehouse Subs in Duval, Clay and St. John’s county. The majority of them are pretty good but this Normandy location is the Best! Fast, Friendly and Professional. The team there always greets the customers and takes the time to effectively communicate timelines and order details. Great Crew there providing Great Service!“

“I ordered through the app and usually have no issues but I could not order fries through the app the last 2 times ive been there. I would hope they would fix this soon as I prefer ordering online, pick up and go. And not have to order something from the counter and have to wait.“

“I haven't been to Firehouse in some time. I'm so glad I went there today. The sub was fresh and delicious! And the new fries they are offering are Fire! They were hot, fresh and perfectly salted. They didn't have that fried oil taste that french fries sometimes have.
I almost want to go back tomorrow and get another sub and fries.“

“Three guys at the front made my night. Other Firehouse up the road had to refund my order due to theft and out of sauce...made it a big deal. I walk in the door and I am great by **John Adrian and Ty**. They are hustling like nobody's business, running this sub shop like it was their very own. They took care of me and informed me about their sauce shortage aswell. They were determined to satisfy my visit with a drink and other recommended sauces. In the midst of this interaction they had a list of orders to fill in a busy store. I have no doubt these three are gonna be very successful in life. I hope a manager gets a hold of this and these gentleman get some recognition. Thank you so much, I will definitely be back again.“

“Today was beautiful as i watched two first responders purchase a woman a much needed meal and drink and even a dessert and it made me so happy to see such kindness that is so rare these days .Firehouse subs and the selections they have are a great option for a tasty as well as filling meal with multiple chip options and a variety of choices for mix your own drink from the Cocacola brand as well as sweet and unsweet tea made fresh daily. In addition the fudge brownie was fantastic fudge deliciousness today. The umyounf ladies and gentlemen who work here are so nice and ready to make your taste buds jump for joy.“

“I've previously had two poor experiences here. The issues weren't rectified and I couldn't even get a return call from management. However, I really wanted Firehouse and it was nearby so we took our chances. It was a completely different experience this time and everything was excellent. I let the person in charge know and found out they were under new management.“

“Great subs, but overpriced imo. If I didn't have a coupon I probably wouldn't have came here. Service was slow & there was a verbal outburst / confrontation between employees with a store full of people. Decided to take my food to go. Likely won't be back. May be best to order online.“
