“Our server was so sweet and attentive. Food was excellent. We had mussels, lobster tail and Lazy Lobster with french fries. Everything was really delicious and nice portions. The restaurant is casual and comfortable, but really nice. There was live music, but not too loud that we couldn't talk during our meal. A little pricey, but definitely worth it. Highly recommend!“

“Walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile by Malcom who helped us choose the best options. I so wanted to try the gizzards but they were sold out-they must be good! We had the garlic snow crab platter and had them spice it up a bit, so buttery and flaky. We also tried the garlic shrimp platter which had plenty of large shrimp and both had delicious butter soaked potatoes and corn on the cob too. Then we had the fried catfish with seasoned fries. This is a take out only location and all the better for it. When we picked up our order we got to meet "Little Pompey" who was rang us up and thanked us for our business. Any platter you choose Snow Crab, Blue Crab, Shrimp will be worth it just ask for a little heat if you like it!“

“A group of us girls came to visit Largo/Indian Rocks Beach two weeks after hurricane Milton which was right after hurricane Helene. We were worried about businesses being open after all the damage but we were really pleasantly surprised. Beach Waves had excellent food - hot, fresh, tasty and cold drinks. Sara, our bartender on a Saturday afternoon, was great! The locals are hospitable and friendly. 10/10 would highly recommend!“

I'm not a big eater and the coconut shrimp were perfect for me. nice size shrimp, cooked just right and served with a Thai chili sauce. Another nice thing about this place is that it is a little out of the center of town and doesn't have quite the crowd and noise other places have. more relaxed and laid back. You cant go wrong.“

“The place is great! It has that perfect beach vibe mixed with excellent service and atmosphere! Definitely a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy their famous grouper sandwiches.

I tried the traditional fried grouper sandwich — it was good and well-prepared, but I’ll try other options next time to give a more accurate verdict. While it didn’t completely blow me away, it was still tasty and satisfying.

What really makes the place stand out is the friendly service, quick attention, and positive energy! I totally recommend visiting this awesome spot and enjoying a nice margarita while watching the sunset.

“What a walk down memory lane this is!!! We haven’t been to Bobby’s Bistro, or its more upscale sister restaurant the Beachcomber in years. Twenty years ago, these two restaurants were the absolute “It” place, the best in Tampa. Amazingly, the decor is exactly the same as 20 years ago but somehow doesn’t look dated at all. The food was fantastic. We met George, our server, who is a bit of a celebrity, and he was super nice and gave me a supersized shot! Glad to give this notable establishment a great review!“
