“I visited for lunch with my mom and my 2 kids. We had a wonderful lunch. The pizza was perfect, I brought a few slices home to my husband and he loved them as well. The service was great, and the ambiance was exactly what we were looking for. I also had the Amici’s salad and it was the best salad I’ve had in a while. It had eggplant, mushrooms, zucchini. We can’t wait to go back. The owner and his daughter took care of us which made it even more special.“

“Visiting Pompano Beach from out of state and love eating Cuban food while I'm here. There are a handful of Cuban places around, but no place like this one! This place is attached to a gas station and has a small counter to order food. The person behind the counter was singing while he made coffee! He clearly was loving his job! If I wasn't in a good mood, I would have been when I left. The coffee was superb. I also got a egg sandwich on a croissant. Sounds so simple, but it was delicious! The croissant was soft and buttery. The egg was hot! I saw the whole thing being made. I wouldn't change a thing. Going back tomorrow.“

“I had a reservation at 5 pm. I was seated right when they opened. The crispy duck was amazing, and I loved the cherry gastrique. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed talking to them about the food and desserts. My friend had the snapper, which was perfection as well. Afterward, we had two desserts, the apple cobbler cupcake. I was blown away by it because I love apple pie. This was like apple pie as a cake. We also had their cinnamon roll with apple as well. Loved the texture and balanced flavors of the roll. Icing was perfect. Not too sweet.“

“Jet Runway Cafe is one of my favorite brunch and lunch spots in Broward County. I love that it tucked away from the main streets, but has an amazing, especially for the travel junkie - you get to watch planes take off and land. Eileen was so nice and welcoming, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the food was delicious! We ordered the waffle combo and Philly Cheesesteak omelet the first day and both were absolutely delicious! “There is parking in the front and in the back. It appeared when I was leaving that they may also have a drive through window possibly. She was warm and welcoming. There are plenty of places to sit all around this cozy restaurant. We were welcomed by Velima to take our order. (I sure hope I have their names spelled correctly.) You can either order from the counter when you walk in, or order from your table and pay after at the counter. I had a chai latte that was creamy and dreamy. My friend had an expresso with frothed milk that she enjoyed. We both had omelettes. You have a choice of home fries or fruit, and a toast option. The omelettes were plentiful, for a matter of fact my friend couldn't finish hers. I finished mine because I'm a foodie and a yelpie of course! As you see in my photo, we went with the fruit. The fruit was fresh and abundant. This place isn't close to my home, however I will most certainly come back to relax here and enjoy something delicious! They have a massive board with all of what they offer over the counter. They have hot and cold coffees, tea and smoothies. They have pastries and hot food, so pretty much everyone can find something that they will enjoy! The restaurant has been open for 10 years. Boy have I been missing out! This small shop was within walking distance and very close to the main pier and other shops. We got the honey cinnamon iced latte and the Vietnamese coffee cold brew which were both delicious!
