“Yesterday I was in for brunch. The food has always been amazing and Angela is a top tier bartender. I’ve been back several times for the food and friendly staff. The atmosphere was disrupted yesterday by the manager who cornered a young employee and literally cursed him in front of guests and other employees. It was so unprofessional and uncomfortable and disrespectful. Otherwise, again, the food is great and the servers staff are really friendly.

Just don’t like bullies.“

I’m a cocktail bar aficionado — drinking more cocktails in one sitting than you could believe — but the service attention to detail and overall experience was amazing. Ditch Miami Beach and come to Kaiju. Truly a singular experience if you love cocktails and respect what goes into service.“

“For South beach happy hour standards this restaurant was very much worth the trip. Ordered the Yuca fires plus the Ceviche. Both appetizers were sensible potions with lots of flavor. The drinks were very well balanced and packed a punch. I would absolutely go back when it’s more lively, happy hour or not. Staff was very attentive and friendly (which is hard to find in south beach).“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“This place is really cool. I’m local and just stumbled across it looking for a place open late for dinner. Their kitchen is open until midnight. The food is surprisingly good and fresh. Everything seems homemade and they have some of the best French fries I’ve ever had. I got the veggie burger with a lettuce wrap (vegan option). The vibe is also cool with a lot of character. A mix of locals and tourists alike. Service was okay despite Saturday night crowds.“

Margo is that cute little restaurant that fits the need of a local spot as well as a reasonable destination if you’re trying to go somewhere new definitely recommend check it out“

“Went on a Saturday night, it was really busy and crammed which is to be expected since it’s a small place. I got the bright melon drink, which was pretty good, the music was good. Would go back on a weeknight instead. It’s a nice lounge, but definitely too crowded on the weekend.“

“Maybe I’m just TOO OLD for this environment (look at my attached photo). The “smashed burgers” …are NOT real “smashed burgers”, you can tell they were cheap, processed “meat” patties. The wings, event though I did want them well done—they went to an extreme. It was like eating “hard crackers”. The BEER ? was Cold, so that’s a “+”. Fries were “meh”.

Come try and judge for yourself, it’s not worth it for me to come back. I wish them well and LOTS of SUCCESS with their type of crowd. Music was just wayyy TOO LOUD for Me. To the point that it hurt my ears. Again, maybe I’m just TOO OLD for this environment (look at my attached photo).“
