“We had a great experience tonight! With two littles, they knowingly placed us in front of the fish tank to help with entertainment. Our server was speedy, kind, and had honest and helpful recommendations for the food. Everything was fast, fresh, and delicious. “THIS PLACE IS A MUST TRY!!! My husband and I are visiting Anna Maria for the first time to celebrate our son’s first birthday. Because of his bedtime it’s challenging to go out to restaurants so this was the perfect option for us to still have a fun dinner experience at home (you pick up the seafood pot, and then steam it at home in just 40 minutes!) they give you everything you need we just popped it on the stove. We LOVE seafood and this tasted absolutely DELICIOUS!

Local? they'll treat you like a tourist which you would think they would be good to because they are the suckers they are dying to get in. " Hi how long for 2 people"? an hour to an hour and a half out of season.... no "I'm sorry, the wait is over an hour" nope you get "Fair enough" when you say you don't want to wait that long. no reservations yet some dude with a party of 4 just walked right in and was seated.... over rated is an understatement. Very friendly staff… Lucas was so sweet with my 4 year old & it’s obvious they are like that with all kids when u see the wall of “art” they have hung up that are colored by children. The bread before the meal was a nice touch & even had warm oil which was very good. I can’t speak for much of the food since all we got was one pizza but it was good. Cooked to perfection. I’d prefer a little more fresh basil & fresher tomatoes on the margarita pizza but my son enjoyed his half very much which was just cheese haha. I believe the owner came out & spoke to us which is always nice to see. The live entertainment musician even came over & chatted with us. Everyone we interacted with was so so sweet & friendly. “Our favorite place! We go a few times a month for NE steamers, and occasionally a few other items! Today we both had NE steamers, I had a bowl of Manhattan clam chowder and my boyfriend had whole belly fried clam plate. The chowder was delicious. I have had Manhattan chowder a few other places but this was chuck full of clams and ingredients! Our server told me they make all chowder and soups homemade. Next time I’ll try NE chowder, only reason I didn’t was because I can’t have flour and most have that in it My boyfriend also loved his clams and we both always love the steamers. They have a fish market also so you can get something to take home and cook for the next evening! We always sit at the bar. All servers are friendly and polite. We have been there tons of times and always had excellent service and fabulous food! Prices are very reasonable and we highly recommend Captain Brian’s! They are closed on Sundays . Love love this gem of a place!!“

“We stayed at the Ritz for our vacation in sarasota. And ate at the restaurant for lunch one day. They have an exceptional seafood menu. My husband got the fish tacos and very much enjoyed them. I'm vegetarian and the options were limited but the bartender was kind enough to discuss with the chef options to help accommodate my dietary restrictions and they made vegetarian tacos. Which was such a nice gesture. The tacos were filled to the top and the flavors actually worked well. They bar tender was great!“
