“Just moved to the neighborhood, pass by this place often decided to stop, on a Sunday after church and was pleased to the findings. It's a Latin fruit stand location with a cafeteria, but It is welcoming for us Americans. I got a ½ gallon jug of Guanbana juice for $10 now that's a bargain. I have bought drink at other place 1 cup $7, this is a bargain. I also bought a plate of food rice & peas, steak, and tostones $10, lots of food. Picked up some more fruits and other things. Prices not too steep, very reasonable. Place is clean and friendly too. They do speak Spanish bur willing to talk English just be patience.“

“Our family has been coming to Dos Palmas for over 30 years. The food is always great and consistent. The staff could not be any better. They've known my daughter since I was carrying her and she is 21. We literally sit down for breakfast and don't have to order as they already know what we want. Love this place and the family that owns them.“

I almost didn’t try La Minutera because of a review from someone named Shayla Lopez, but let me tell you—she does not know what she’s talking about. The fish here tastes like it was just pulled from the sea, perfectly seasoned and cooked to flaky perfection. Every bite was fresh, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor that instantly transported me to the coast. The staff was friendly, the portions generous, and it’s clear they take pride in their food.

Don’t let a bad review stop you from experiencing La Minutera. If you love fresh seafood that actually tastes like it came from the ocean, this is your spot.“

“The host was absolutely amazing and set the tone for a great dining experience. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. They were attentive, organized, and handled everything smoothly, even though it was busy. Their friendly attitude and professionalism really stood out, and they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. “The kind of place you want to keep close to your heart. Greeted by the wonderful Brazilian woman that serviced us through out our visit and always made sure we were well taken care of. We decided to stop in for breakfast after a run, we didn't even get to the menu as we were enticed by their breakfast spread/buffet special at $26/person (2 of us for context) which included coffee and apple juice (there may have been other beverages offered as part of this, don't recall). The first platter was a cold platter, with assortments that included 2 types of cheese, a cold deli cut, a chicken salad that was delicious with crackers, mandarin slices, watermelon slices and banana slices with cinnamon. After the cold platter, we got the hot platter which included eggs with bacon cooked to perfection, toast (possibly brioche), croquetas de Jamon, Brazilian cheese bread and a brazilian classic of Escondidinho (layer of mashed boiled yuca with a layer of picadillo and cheese with string papitas) that was chefs kiss in my opinion... simple but flavorful. We nearly tapped out after a few bites of the hot platter. They allowed us to repeat anything we enjoyed from the platters served. We took home freshly made maracuya juice that was also delicious. A good amount of servings for just us 2. We are definetly coming back for dinner some day. This is a casual outdoor venue,great for families. They have a decent amount of parking and a plant nursery next door. Thank you to the staff for the experience!“

“Had to get on a healthy eating plan, this is the spot! Try something new everyday I promise you won’t regret it! I believe Thursdays is the pulled pork that’s worked on several hours before by the owners I believe. They have weekly cantinas which is worth it to get on a healthy eating plan. Amazing 10/10 it’s my go to spot for everyone in the office.“

“I have many Cuban restaurants near me. Most of them are expensive and the food is really bad. I don't cook, so I buy out. Sergios is my stop for dinner or take out. Great menu, good food good portions. Price is no problem when the cooking is good, and their prices are fair next to the GARBAGE, other places serve.“

“Excellent restaurant. They just updated their menu so now it's on tvs which helps the hard to see (me). I got a tequeno and a tamale. Both were great however the tamale was cold in the center. Love this place though, and the music is always interesting. Last time it was Christian music which I loved and today it was country which was still good but definitely a conversation starter considering it was giving me culture shock lol at least it feels inclusive through that since otherwise its a very Cuban establishment where everyone is speaking Spanish.

So far all of my experiences have been fantastic and I highly recommend this place to everyone for a quick bite. The service is fast and polite so you know if theres a long line, it wont last which is great. They deserve their success and you should check it out if youre on the edge. Pricing is good too, so I never feel ripped off with my purchases.“

“Very nice little hole in the wall Cuban eatery. They have empanadas and premade sandwiches if you want something fast and ready, but also a very decent menu of sandwiches and other dishes.

“This was a great place to stop for super fresh produce and juice. I enjoyed an incredible mango smoothie and a pineapple/strawberry drink. They were both way beyond my expectations. I felt very healthy after enjoying the drinks. There was live music as entertainment. The seating was perfect for a relaxing evening out. The service was above and beyond. My Spanish is limited, but I was eager to try. They were patient with me as I tried to learn. The women I was talking with made me feel comfortable and encouraged me. There was another woman that spoke English that was able to help make sure I was able to communicate without a problem.I loved the entire experience. Everyone was SO friendly. I highly recommend.“

“OMG! This place is good! There seems to be a wait of about 1/2 an hour for them to prepare your food with love but it is well worth it... maybe they take orders over the phone for pick up? The wife and I ordered a couple Tripleta sandwiches(truly AMAZING), 13 year old son ordered the crispy chicken sandwich that we all tasted where the chicken was battered and fried fresh here(so GOOD) and 9 year old daughter had a bacon cheeseburger that was excellent(burger was so moist and well seasoned), in-laws also ordered a couple dishes and we also got some kind of cream cheese empanadas that was also great. This place is 5 stars! THIS REVIEW DOESN'T GIVE ENOUGH JUSTICE TO HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS! I highly recommend the Tripleta sandwiches. We live 4 and a half hours away from this place but we'll make it a point to stop by here anytime we're even remotely close to it. Customer service was excellent!“

“This Cajios is located in the food court at Southland Mall. We are "foodies" and don't typically eat at food courts, but when we saw the traditional lechon (sucking pig) on the weekend, along with a great selection of truly appetizing dishes displayed in the window, we had to try. We ordered a very traditional Cuban lunch - lechon (slow-roasted pulled pork), congri (white rice mixed and cooked with black beans) and maduros (fried, ripe plantains) and we were very pleased. The pork was succulent and cooked to perfection. The congri and plantains were also perfect. Other main dishes in the window included boliche (pot roast) and sauteed fish. We enjoyed a great meal at the right price before the movie, but we'll be going back for good eats at Cajios again. Enjoy!“
