“My husband, our child, and I visited this cafe on a Saturday morning and were delighted. The barista, a girl with long hair (unfortunately I don't know her name), was wonderful. The coffee and croissants were delicious. And she kindly warmed up my coffee for me, as I was busy with the child and my coffee had cooled down a bit. In general, I recommend this place.“

Their food is spectacular their pastries are made fresh they have all sorts of different foods if you're in the mood for something hearty or something light they have it all. “This was my first time visiting Rose Cafe & Restaurant, which recently expanded and rebranded with a full bar and dinner service, officially opening the new concept in October 2025. The space is absolutely beautiful ~ roses everywhere, elegant decor, and very Instagrammable from the moment you walk in. One thing that stood out, however, was a very strong scent sprayed in the hallway upon entry. My friend, who is sensitive to strong smells, felt sick afterward. It didn’t linger heavily at the table, but for anyone sensitive to fragrance, this could definitely be an issue. As for the food, our Eggs Benedict initially came out overcooked, but our server Jonathan A. handled it perfectly. He immediately took it back, asked the chef to remake it, and the second round was spot on. Great recovery and attentive service on his part. I ordered a hazelnut cappuccino, not realizing that cinnamon lettering would be added on top. I personally don’t tolerate cinnamon, so I removed the foam and didn’t say anything, but this might be something for management to consider ~ asking guests beforehand would be appreciated. Overall, the service was good, valet is offered upon arrival, and the ambiance is lovely. While it didn’t completely blow my mind, it’s still a beautiful spot with solid service. All things considered, I’d honestly give it 4 stars and would return, especially for the atmosphere.“

“We landed early afternoon & headed straight to Café Bastille-Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. I'd heard rave reviews about this spot & it exceeded expectations. We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. Delf Juice Bar & Cafe is a family operation, and you feel it in every detail. Janet, the owner, was at the counter and she was a delight. She was juggling a couple of customers while effortlessly making suggestions and answering questions in English and Spanish. Before I even ordered, she handed me a sample of freshly squeezed juice with ginger — one of those sips that genuinely makes you feel alive.
