“My son and I came to eat breakfast here on a whim.I had the Crab Benny. Can't remember what my son had b/c my head was in the CLOUDS!! They could have told me to sit on a stump outside to finish eating. I WOULD have! I live near to twisted biscuit diner in Tavares.Have eaten there often. THE biscuit at Deland Eatery!! Why go to TB anymore? I am forever spoiled by the quality and freshness.Light perfect biscuit. Why were they out of biscuits another reviewer asked ? Go eat before noon here. You will have eaten perfection!!“

“Nice spot with good atmosphere overlooking the small regional airport. Seating outside either at the bar or at tables next to a stage. No music when we visited but was told it was going to resume in August. I did not check the inside but as long as there's seating outside - that's where I want to be. Food was good (hamburger) and the people next to me were having wings - great according to them. If I'm spending time in that area...I will definitely visit again!“

“I recently visited Wing Express at 955 S Woodland Blvd, DeLand, FL and ordered two hibachi chicken platters for takeout. Although the restaurant was quiet inside, they appeared busy with several to-go orders. I placed my order and waited around 20 minutes, which seemed reasonable given the circumstances. The chicken was excellent, but the egg fried rice was somewhat bland, and I noticed a few hard pieces of rice. However, the portion sizes were generous, and overall, I would consider returning to try a different dish next time.“

“We went on Friday evening with a group to this Sonny's. We had a good time there. I had the two meat plate, pulled pork and ribs, with coleslaw and baked beans. The food was delicious and the waitress attentive, that all for a reasonable price.“

“When you think of a place being a hidden gem... that's Emmy's. You enter and it's just like visiting an older relative.... cozy homey feel. It's fine dining without the stuffy atmosphere. The quality of food is outstanding. The staff were all attentive and friendly.... it's just an amazing find. We'll definitely be back!“

“I have eaten at Dudley’s almost weekly since She opened her door . DeLand was in such need of a good non commercial family type place to eat. The owner Annamarie offered just that. The food was awesome the service so cozy, friendly and inviting. Now she was forced to close, please pray she finds a new spot and reopens soon.“

“Had an excellent lunch bike week, food far exceeded our expectations we ordered a bunch of things off the small bites menu to try mostly for the kids and sandwiches for ourselves, everything was delicious, service took a bit longer than typical but my goodness they were so excellent once they realized how long we’d be waiting. Truly a customer focused establishment with excellent food. 10/10 recommend“
