“I visited Harry’s Old Place in Winter Haven tonight for the very first time. It is a very cute and welcoming place. I was greeted and seated right away. My waitress, Taylor was so friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a filet and asked it to be topped with crab. When it came out it was not as expected, undercooked- I asked for medium rare but it was very rare and the topping was cold. I hesitated to say anything but Taylor noticed and immediately asked what she could do to make it right. She ended up recommending mahi with a garlic sauce topping which was delicious! The GM Cody came over and was just as kind. I will for sure be back and appreciate them for not making me feel bad (or worse) for returning the first dish. Thank you Taylor for being awesome!“

“Amazing spot! I live 45 mins away, but I'll definitely be back! Nicest staff I've ever met, owner was there busing tables, delivering drinks, talking to everyone in the place, so great! We tried the scallops, haddock and grouper, it was all fabulous! Drinks were amazing (mom was tipsy off 1 margarita lol), jump off was nice n spicy! 10 out of 10 would recommend!“

“Tantrums food truck was at Front Page Brewery in Bartow and we weren’t going to get anything we brought pizza but I kept smelling the food so we got the shrimp and grits. Best decision of my life! I love shrimp and grits but this is a different take on it. It was absolutely delicious! Like how did this come off a food truck! The crispy grits cakes the bacon peppers and onions the shrimp cooked perfectly! Can’t wait for them to come back!“

“Out-of-towner happy to have landed at Zest for a late, Sunday afternoon lunch on a day trip to tour Bartow's interesting Wonder House, with quick, unplanned visits to the L.B. Brown House Museum and the Bartow History Center. Located on a side street a couple of blocks from the old town square Zest has a quiet, unassuming appearance with off-street parking and an outside, covered dining patio. Inside seating includes booths, tables and the bar in a large, high-ceilinged, sort of dimly lit dining area with a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Our server Regan, (I think was her name) was efficient, and attentive and just right friendly. Our food - we both had fish and chips with cole slaw - was excellent - the slaw was good - chunky cut with vinegar-based dressing rather than mayo-based, medium cut fries and the fish were very good - tender and crisp (the fish lightly battered). Definitely would be a repeat customer if I was a local. Planning to return to Bartow for a scheduled tour of the L.B. Brown House and to explore more of the History Center and it will be hard to decide whether to try a different restaurant or to return here where we really enjoyed the service, the meal and the space.“

“Tried this place last weekend while running some errands in winter haven. The food was AMAZING! the prices were affordable for the amount of food you get. “Have they there for many many years? Don't think I've had anything there that I didn't like. I'm very partial to their chicken wings. French fries are awesome. The coleslaw is a really good. A little tarter than I like. I like it! Sweet coleslaw but I never not eat it. It is still good. French fries are on point seasoning crispy not over crispy and not mushy. Highly recommend a trip there.“

“Ok, so I see some negative comments on here about Mannys. I have been going to the one on 27 for a little over 10 years. Usually at least twice a month. I have NOT had the experience these people have and wonder if their expectations were beyond attainable and no matter how good things were they would still have a complaint. My girlfriend and I love this place. I have never had a badly cooked steak and the prime rib my girlfriend gets is what she wants. I would not under any circumstances continue to patron a restaurant if it were not good. Having lived in west Texas for almost two decades, I know a good steak. If your expectations are that high, maybe stay home and cook one yourself. You are your own worst critic.“

“Here's a reminder that quality Chinese food restaurants exist. Had their Beef Lo Mein, Mongolian Beef, and Bourbon chicken all were deeelish. Their beef is cooked well which i like here and large portions. After seeing some positive reviews my eyes have opened again and will return here to try other things and you should too.“

We also ordered the dynamite roll wich is one of the signatures and suppose to be one of their best one , but to start with the description doesn't have any egg and the topping was egg made literally in a microwave honestly I didn't even try it since I returned was 16.95 for it.Naaa... We had also ordered Booba teas and our order was to go and had to wait 20!-25 mnts ..And the boba where done in less than. 3 mnts so we ask the lady to with put them on a freezer , well she took the ice out and gave us in the same drink. which I didn't wasnt a qualuty costumer service..JUST LIKE that unbelievable...I can say the lady was very nice and Friendly but the management or owners must get in top of a sushi chef and also get a different strategy for to go orders... We end up buying sushi in other place!!!“

We were greeted warmly at the door and brought immediately to our table. Everything in the restaurant looked clean and neat. Our server Tee came to our table right away and took our drink order. She returned quickly with biscuits and our drinks and took our food order.and returned to our table several times to see how we were doing. Tee is an amazingi and excellent server and should be highly commended for her exceptional work at the Red Lobster in Winter Haven. Our meal arrived within a reasonable timeframe and was DELICIOUS and expertly prepared. Tee returned to our table several times to make sure that we were doing well and we were! From beginning to end this was an extremely pleasant and quite enjoyable dining experience because of Tee and the staff at the Winter Haven Red Lobster.
