“I have been coming here since JII opened a few years ago. My son has been in clinical trials at the University of Florida for the last seven years. As a tradition, after his clinical visits I let him pick any special desert food establishment. JII continues to be his choice. There are always smiles, joy, and wonderful memories every visit.“

“New Orlean Praline ice cream is my favorite so far. I haven’t tried another flavor yet because I can’t NOT get the one that I like so much! Although we only go occasionally because we live in another town about 45 minutes away, when I go to Gainesville I try to make time for an ice cream from Kilwins. It’s a wonderful treat!“

“Soooo good! And it’s gluten free! Having celiacs makes it extremely hard to go somewhere for ice cream and not get cross contaminated so it was REALLY nice to have a place to grab some good ice cream and so many flavors to choose from! ❤️“

“My people have never had Baskin-Robbins. Whaaat? So we went to the one on 13th at Dunkin Donut. James served us and was knowledgeable & friendly. The strawberry ? was delish. Big hunks of fresh fruit. I need to go back and get a real banana split. Real ice cream! Yeah. We had chocolate, vanilla & butter pecan. Now just a note...this location does not have all the flavors (31). There was enuf to please us. We will be back.“

“A touch expensive but inline with downtown Gainesville prices! Got two single serves and it came out to about $11 dollars. We didn’t get any toppings or dips but it seems like a pretty good variety! They offer some samples but we didn’t partake since we knew the flavors we wanted. Ice-creams were delicious and cold on a hot day! Seating is ok with the high top chairs along the windows…wish they had something a touch lower seating wise for older folks or a lower spot for some in a wheelchair. Anna was great and explained everything us nicely; she also tackled a large group of folks behind us like a champ!“

“My only complaint is the radio is too loud which made it difficult to place my order because the employee couldn't hear me. I got coffee ice cream in a waffle bowl with strawberries on top because I wasn't sure if it would be a good recipe or yuck. Of course I get the new employee. I told her 'coffee ice cream plain, no mix-in' and when she went to hand me the bowl I asked 'could you add strawberries to it?' her smile quickly left and her face drop like the end of the world just happened. I had to reassure her a couple of times repeating 'I want the strawberries on top, not mixed in' once she finally understood me she added strawberries on top and her smile returned.“

“Great selection of delicious ice pops. Lots of fun hearing the truck come around the neighborhood too. Little man was concentrating too hard on the flavor to smile.“
