“Tacos are my favorite food group, and these are the best I’ve ever had. The beer-battered fish tacos are saucy and bursting with flavors, and messy in the best way. The boy got the California burrito with carne asada and the meat was so tender and flavorful and juicy. We both got the street corn and that was phenomenal too. Fast casual dining, very affordable, and a ton of bang-for-your-buck. Jake’s Coastal Cantina is a *must try*.“
“We always make sure to stop at Badfins Food + Brew every time we go to Clearwater. The food is very tasty and love to try many of the different local craft beer selections. Jessica, our server was great, knowledgeable and friendly when we had questions for her. Can’t wait to go back on our next Clearwater vacation. Highly recommend!“
“My son and I decided to try something new rather than our usual Mexican restaurant favorites, and we will both be returning...in fact, the tacos we sampled were among the best either of us have had.The birria, carne asada, camarones, and al pastor tacos were all delicious...quality meats and shrimp, delectably seasoned in nice portions. The sauces are freshly made and add amazing flavor. We'll definitely return to try more of the menu!“
“Just visiting Clearwater beach and the family wanted Mexican. Found this gem on google. So happy I did. From start to finish the food was outstanding. The simple salsa had some spice with warm freshly made chips. I ordered the carnitas which didn’t disappoint. Perfectly cooked and seasoned pork. Homemade refried beans like a soft spread. Even the simple pico de gallo was well done. Also had a side chile relleno which was soft , tasty and simply made with a verde sauce. Every one of my family loved their dishes. This is clearly a family run place with friendly staff that were very attentive. Finished with a not to miss birthday celebration. Absolutely worth it. Only sadness is not being from here. I would be there every week.“
“Nicely decorated. Comfortable. Very busy on Saturday night. We ordered the flautas and the enchiladas roja and fahitas. Huge servings!!! Nice! Very attractive presentation. Very good taste. The server was very good. The food came out fast! There was a nice show on Saturday night. Fun place to go. I do recommend this restaurant.“
“I stayed very close to this location and visited this location about four times. The location is clean friendly and has an amazing environment. Each time I ordered beers shrimp tacos and churros. Highly recommend this place thanks for the great service and awesome food. JM Toronto, “
“I happened to be in the Saint Pete area and friends took me to VIP For lunch. The food was great and the margaritas were amazing! I can’t wait to go back there next time I’m in the area!Parking: There’s a few free parking spots, but most of them you have to pay for whether it’s in the lot or on the street.“
“Cute spot right next to the water ferry dock. Stopped there for a beer and wine while waiting for the ferry. Really good beer and whine. The food we saw other folks eating looked really good. Next time we go there, we will get some food. We recommend this spot to friends and family.“
“I stopped in for a quick lunch while running errands. Both the service and food were flawless. I got the Fajitas Mixte and they were delicious and cooked perfectly. The portion size was generous so I was able to have a second lunch the next day. I got a Horchata on the way out and it really hit the spot on a hot day.“
“We had at rehearsal dinner at the Marina Cantina and I could not be more pleased with how it turned out. Leading up to the event, we worked with Nina very often and she was extremely communicative and kind. She helped ensure our event was well prepared and it truly was! The food was absolutely delicious, our guests were raving about everything! I even heard a guest say it was the best rehearsal dinner food they have ever had! The servers, bartenders and staff were on their A game and kept the space clean, especially during the meal and dessert transitions. I am so glad we choose the Marina Cantina for our event. 10/10 recommend!!!!!!!Wheelchair accessibility: A guest at our rehearsal dinner was in a wheel chair & had full access to the elevator and had no issues getting around!“
“I had lunch here for the first time this past week. What a fantastic local place to eat. The food was not only hot but it was also delicious. The waitress Alexis who took care of me greeted me with the biggest smile and was extremely helpful on what to order. Myself being a novice on Mexican food she went out of her way to explain what was on the menu. I decided on the Barbacoa Quesadilla. I wasn’t disappointed, it was out of this world and it was served in a pyramid style which in itself was vey different. When the waitress (Alexis ) was done taking my order she continue to clean and made sure everything was in order. I eat out most of the time and i will tell you this restaurant was spotless. I will from now on continue to give them my business and tell others about this gem. GREAT FOOD,FANTASTIC SERVICE“
“First time in the area on vacation, as a vegetarian I'm always worried about finding something good to eat. Well this was mind blowingly good! I had the Garden Variety bowl and I added avocado and vegan chorizo. It was DELICIOUS. Every bite was a flavor explosion. Everything was cooked to perfection. Food was prepared very quickly. I can't recommend it enough!“
“We had such an enjoyable experience on the deck. Our server was both fun and helpful with suggestions. We enjoyed a margarita tower/flight with Grand Marnier. For an appetizer, we had chips and queso, salsa, and guacamole - all tasty. For entrées we had delicious portobello tacos and chicken tostados. We had a celebratory fried ice cream for my birthday dessert.Vegetarian options: Had a few good options.Kid-friendliness: Many children were up on the deck and seemed to be having a good time.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the upper levels; an elevator is available. The restroom appeared accessible as well.“
“Went in last night randomly! Made me miss Texas. The staff was phucking phenomenal! We will be back. Shout out to Saverio at the bar! He was cool as an ice cube. Thanks for an amazing experience and badddd assssss food!!!!! ❤️ you guys!!!“
“This place is a hidden gem !! By far the best food in the area !! I don’t want to call is Mexican , Spanish or Latin food . Food this good isn’t from a place it is from a persons love to cook !! I stop in anytime I am close by and have had something different every time. From the taco to the enchiladas. From the quesadillas to the burritos. It has been top notch and puts a smile on my face every time . Thank you Maria for all the good food!!“
“We just completed a job nearby and we googled authentic Mexican food and we found this hidden gem ?✨Let me tell you I highly recommend if you want authentic Mexican tacos, authentic sopes, tortas they have it all!!??The staff is super friendly, very fast, very knowledgeable and again super friendly, which is hard to find nowadays take it from me. We eat out a lotI highly recommend five stars plus“
“Awesome deal for tacos! Had the beer battered grouper fish tacos on soft corn tortillas. Incredible flavor, and great portions for the price! Paid $5 for two and it’s definitely filling enough for a meal. Best spot on Treasure Isalnd for a quick bite for lunch or dinner. Will definitely return!!“
“You go to Senior Taco for its authenticity and service. This is not a classy-looking romantic dining experience or hipster place, it's just good. Total dive, but the employees will take good care of you and you will leave satisfied and full.“
“Was having trouble finding food everyone would agree on and ended up stumbling upon this restaurant, at first we were a little skeptical but ended up absolutely loving it! We were seated immediately and the food came out pretty fast. Everything we ordered was perfect and tasted amazing and fresh. The menu has so many options and even includes a kids menu with a lot of the basics like chicken fingers and quesadillas and there is just a huge range of food to pick from even being able to customize what you want, as well as being way more affordable than most hotel restaurants. Overall I rate the experience a 10/10 and would highly recommend it!“
“Delicious gluten free corn tacos here! They were so flavorful and fresh! The server was very friendly and informative on gluten free advising that the fried foods have gluten and the corn chips have cross contamination from the fryer. But the tacos were fantastic! Thank you!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free corn tacos! All tacos are gluten free unless you add a fried protein.“
“Quaint little Mexican restaurant. It is a little weird when you first walk in there’s no one to greet you, but someone said sit wherever you like after a little bit. The server came by super quick and got our order in fast. The food came out super quick and they gave us chips and salsa while we waited. The food was very flavorful. I ordered the pollo with mole sauce. I would definitely return!“
“Que delicia!!! The best tacos I've had in the States. Mexican done beautifully. Tacos El Carnal take the simple street taco and elevate it to a level where every taste bud is gently coated in their magic cooking talents. As a fellow (non-Mexican) Latina, places like this one are why I think of Mexican people as being the best cooks in the world.“
“Stumbled upon this little gem, doing a Google search and a craving for Mexican. It reminds me of the little eateries in Mexico. You can order off menu or do the buffet. We chose the buffet, and was disappointed. Las comidas muy fantastico y delicioso.“
“When I was searching for Mexican food, "Martha's Tacos" came up for this location. The reviews looked good, the pictures posted were pretty on point for the type of Mexican food I was looking for. When we arrived, we noticed that the sign said "Taco Miendo." My coworker and I almost left because I really didn't want to be disappointed since I saw such promising reviews for Martha's. However, we decided to give it a try. There was a small lunch crowd inside and most people seemed to be first timers as well. We were both pleasantly surprised that complimentary chips and salsa were provided. They didn't have any daily specials or lunch specials so I opted for the 3 steak tacos that's sprinkled with onion and cilantro. It also came with a generous side of rice and refried beans. My co-worker ordered a chicken and steak burrito. Food came out quickly, and the tacos were packed with steak. They also came with a side of mild tomatillo salsa "chefs kiss" it was delicious! Would I come back? Yes... but will it be a regular spot for me? No. All in all, good food, and generous portions. The restaurant itself could use a remodel.“
“It was pretty good steak was tender. Place was totally dead during lunch. The chips and dip were not good though. Waaaayyyy over cooked chips the dip was cold like strait from the fridge. Not much parking but it wasn't needed bc there was no one there but me.Parking: Small lot“
“Cute and casual wine bar! They offer a Sangria and Tacos special on Tuesdays and sangria is perfect for those who enjoy the drink without a plethora of fruit in the glass, just refreshing juice and ice. Noe helped us out and we enjoyed watching him work on a future art installation for the bar. Their spicy chili oil tacos were OUTSTANDING, I asked about the spice factor, and was reassured it was flavor over flame, just my kind of dish. All the stars, will come back!“
“Really good ! Quick and tasted great. I had the shrimp tacos they came with cilantro and onion which I love, as well as carne asada fries and an al pastor tacos that had pineapple in it. The carne asada fries were slightly mid but were still smashed. Very nice staff“
“Food was good and the restaurant was clean. Two important things I look for. The kitchen was short handed but the waiter was good about keeping drinks full and multicolored chips were warm. I love their salsa not too spicy and chunky with fresh tomato and onion. My husband and I ordered the 25A combo: tostada, taco, and enchilada.Parking: We went during peak dinner hours and there are three different restaurants in this mini plaza. You might not be able to park very close to the restaurant depending on the time you go.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking and wheelchair accessible“
“If you’re looking for authentic Mexican traditional food and ingredients you’ll find it here. Everything from tortillas, meat, chile, canned goods, salsas, produce, candy, corn husks, juice, sodas, bread, mole, canned jalapeños, posole, pork rinds and more!“
“Food was surprising good for us. Megan was very helpful in placing our food order. We had a minor issue with one order which they happily corrected. Sauce bar looks amazing even though we didn't even try it. We didn't need it with the food.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking right in the front. Easy wheel hair access.“
“Absolutely fantastic food. They not only made my top food list once, but twice in just one late night delivery order. The Quessabirria Combo was a wonderful experience and the beef was cooked to absolute perfection and came with an array of delicious sauces and dips. That alone made my week, but then I tasted the most perfectly handmade tortilla chips I've ever had in my life. My entire family was thrilled with the white cheese dip and chips and were fighting over the crumbs. Will order again and again.“
“We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I had the shredded pork dinner. It was very good. I couldn't finish it all. They gave my daughter this sweet tortilla dessert with carmel and chocolate syrup drizzled on it and whipped cream. Looked really good.“
“Another great local location! There is always good energy here when my bf and I stop in for some food! In my opinion this is the best place to get a burrito bowl in the area. Who needs a chipotle?? The ladies behind the counter give great service as well too! :)“
“One of my favorite places to get great snacks, good food and delicious horchata. It is sometimes super busy and hard to place and order - but it’s always so worth it and so delicious.Parking: Parking is sometimes super tight due to it busy - but we always park right past next to the church.“
“The best tacos we had in Clearwater! The Pastor Pork tacos slapped. Our server was super friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere had a great energetic vibe.We went the next night with more people, and the staff were dancing, singing, having a great time.Prices for drinks and food are great too. Thanks Jesús for the great time ??“
“St Pete Taco Lady food truck was wonderful as my wedding caterer. I always enjoyed their food at the Saturday Morning Market. Taylor was also excellent at communicating. They worked fast at feeding our roughly 100 guests. Everyone loved the food!“
“The food is fabulous. First time I came I had a huge Sope the size of a small pizza. The second time I came I had 4 tacos, bistec, azada, pollo and el pastor. ? The restaurant is super clean like it’s brand new. The service is great. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Pinellas County.“
“It's hard finding good authentic style tacos in Tampa bay. This place serves high quality Mexican style tacos. I got the lengua, cabeza, el pastor and suadero (which was actually a carnitas). The tortilla to meat ratio is good. I don't feel they held back on meat like a lot of Mexican restaurants do. They definitely filled it up really nice. All were juicy and delicious except for the carnitas which were super fatty and greasy. The tortillas also tasted great. The ambiance had a Mexican style feel to it. Mexican music playing in the background, nicely decorated interior. The staff that took my order were also very nice. Overall I really enjoyed my tacos!“
“Update - PERMANENTLY CLOSEDSadly... I attempted to visit Fri 4/26 and it's all shut down and appears to be cleaned out. No visible signage either.Sad to see this place go under! This has been an excellent find. The place is clean, well staffed, and cranks out delicious food and drinks. The staff is always very friendly. They check in regularly but not to the point of being intrusive. They have an excellent menu and in today's day and age, it's really nice to find a place that is also affordable. The food quality and quantity are very appropriate for the price. Definitely recommend this place.“
“My go-to neighborhood Mexican restaurant when I'm looking for traditional food. The chili rellenos are my fav and their super spicy salsas are delish (request in addition to the salsa they bring with chips). Service is always prompt and friendly. They've done some improvements over the years on inside to improve the ambiance that have made it a place you don't just order to-go.“
“Been eating here for 20 years, I grew up eating here and now my kids are doing the same. Can’t go wrong with a burger, the gyro or some tacos. I do miss the original fries , but the mozzarella sticks and o-rings are great. Try the Tamales if they have any in stock! They have good portions and keep the place clean. One of the very few places that are open late in town, but with a menu with lots to chose from.“
“I love this place it is by far my favorite taco spot in the whole Bay Area with fresh tortillas made right in front of you. I will drive out of my way to get these tacos. The staff and location are everything you would expect from a great Mexican restaurant. Don’t forget the salsa in the yellow squeeze bottle!!!!“
“Best Mexican food in the state! Definitely recommend the birria tacos and the crazy nachos! Been all around the U.S. and the horchata is hands-down the best ever! Excellent customer service!Parking: Lots of parking available during lunchKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!“
“Got off work and needed a bite. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and the kind girl at the window asked me if I’d like onions and cilantro in it. She said that’s how she gets it. I’m so glad she suggested that because it was excellent! And the hot sauce and fresh pico were a plus. I’ll definitely come here again!“
“This has been a family favorite for years. The new paint and lights are a lovely update adding to the fresh, delicious food and very friendly service. At least 3 different people working the floor tonight stopped by our table to refresh our drinks, refresh our chips or check on how our food was. The food portions are huge and everything is delicious!! Sopes are my favorite and being able to chose 3 different meats for my 3 Sopes is always fun! A beef, a chicken, and a pork carnitas for me.! The Mexican tacos are delicious - your choice of meats and fair pricing means you can order a great variety!“
“I got a to go order and haven’t even finished eating before writing this. This is easily the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to Mexico! I got my order within minutes of placing it but, it wouldn’t even bother me if it took longer because there was a whole grocery area where I picked up some seasonings and salsas. I live close but also did a couple things in the house before eating and my food was still hot when I opened it. They wrapped all of the containers in saran wrap so nothing spilled and kept the heat in. I got a steak burrito with no pico, queso con chorizo, beans and rice, with an horchata. Everything is amazing! Stir the horchata before drinking but you can tell it was homemade!“
“Guac and salsa were great. A little packed with people for my liking but does not take reservations so at least we got seated and offered a drink. Their margaritas a step above their house offering were good. My entree choice was out of my normal selection so a little disappointed on boldness of flavor but that was my own fault. Service was great!“
