“First time going there, staff explained the setup, sign up process and table game system. Plenty of room, fun atmosphere and first time I seen a full service restaurant at a game center. Nice cuban sandwich perfectly crispy fries and the frozen lemonade flavors are delicious. Would definitely return for a game night!“

“We stumbled on this place last night because we needed to go somewhere to wait for my daughter to get out of a concert. Not wanting a bar or restaurant, we found this coffee shop that was open to 1am. When we pulled up, I immediately felt like I was in Europe. Men sitting outside at tables drinking coffee and talking. When I walked inside and saw the menu, it brought me back to Bosnia and Herzegovina where the drink prices were under $3 for drinks! We asked the owner where he from and learned that he was from Sarajevo, Bosnia. He had been to Medjugorje so we talked about that for a few minutes. I got 2 large hot chai lattes and a big muffin for under $10. The atmosphere was great with lots of college aged students as well as old people my age 😂. There was music outside and art inside. This was the best vibe I got from a coffee shop in a long time. I can’t wait to go back!“

“This place is WELL worth it! We stopped in at ELEON Pizza & Pastry in River City on a whim. They are a true diamond in the rough. You can’t find desserts like theirs anywhere. Period. The goodies in their bake case are nothing short of beautiful. Their shakes are insane. Looking at the rest of the menu, there are plenty of food and sweet options and every one looked/sounded amazing. THIS.PIZZA. The owner talked a big talk but he certainly walked the walk. With impressive experience around the world and eye for quality, this is probably the best pizza I have EVER had. Last but not least, their customer service was everything you could want. They are a husband and wife duo who took time to genuinely engage in conversation with us. They are a small spot now but have big dreams. There's always room for improvement and we're not perfect, but our food is good, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is usually pretty fast. Everyone is always welcome at Sippers. There's a cozy cottage area used for overflow seating, groups of four or more, and the area can also be reserved to small groups for a reasonable hourly fee. Where else can you find that in Jacksonville? We do ask that no outside food or drink be brought in or consumed on our premises. As a small business we survive from the sale of the products we offer. That said, Sippers always wants our product and your experience to be great. There's a drive through, too! As I mentioned we are not perfect, we have bad days, make mistakes, communications break down. Please come to us personally with your complaints and we'll do our best to fix them. Hands me my order and says have a great day. I asked for my change she says oh it right here with a little attitude.“

“I never thought of myself as the kind of person that would take to Google to leave a five-star review for a Starbucks location but the employees here exceed my expectations of what customer service can be every single time I visit. They go beyond the homogenized politeness you find at Chick Fil A to add a friendly, personalized element to what they do that is exceedingly rare. As far as service is concerned, they run this location with an efficiency that Apple would likely envy but it’s the caliber of individuals behind the counter that truly makes it special.

We live in an area surrounded by independent coffee shops and I’m a tremendous proponent of supporting local businesses and yet I come to this Starbucks nearly every morning. It’s a testament to their team and their intuition, skill and at the risk of resorting to cliche, the joy that they project even when no sane person would be feeling joy at that time of day.

I think I’m writing this so they know they’re appreciated and that I am genuinely in awe of the effort, both seen and unseen, required to create such a positive customer experience on each visit.“

“Since I moved to NSB last July, I’ve been adopted by this Starbucks even though there is technically one closer to where I live. I go here every work day for my break and I look forward to seeing the friendly faces of the regular employees who quickly learned and remembered my name and my favorite drink and food items. Even the temporary staff is friendly and helpful, but it’s nice to open the door (or drive up to the drive through menu) and be greeted with a happy “hi, Holly!” They always take the time to make my drinks with care, and they always express their appreciation with my patience during busy hours. I work at the beachside Publix, so I understand the genuine thanks to patient customers. I will go out of my way to get my coffee here, and I highly recommend this particular Starbucks to everyone else.“
