“We were so happy with our experience with Bella Cuba! The restaurant has a wonderful intimate feeling inside, the staff are very kind. Our waiter, Moni (not sure of the spelling) was so helpful when explaining the menu and recommending dishes. We decided to go with the specials that day, a red snapper and filet mignon both covered in a creamy sauce. Our dishes came with two sides, both of us got yuca; one order boiled and one as fries. I highly recommend the boiled, very amazing texture and it was perfectly paired with the meat. We also got the fried sweet plantains, they are an absolute must! The two of us shared a mango mojito which was delicious as well. We left with our plates licked clean. If you have the chance, head down to Bella Cuba, you will not be disappointed!“

“Delicious food, the pernil, arroz con gandules and the monfongo was the best I've ever had; however, everything was a bit salty and didn't have many items from the menu. I didn't like the mojitos, and couldn't drink them. The watermelon was extremely syropy sweet, and the classic was pure sour lemon, where we couldn't drink them. But definitely would come back for the food.“
“Food was worth the wait. We ordered oxtails with rice and peas curry, shrimp, jerk, chicken, mac & cheese, chicken patties plantains and rum punch. All excellent and we have traveled many Caribbean islands... Jamaica, Grenada, Antigua, Dominican Republic, and this place had the best Caribbean food. The spice level was great. The food was fresh. The service was great, and we even ended up there a little later than we had wanted and we still felt like we were welcome, the restaurant is spacious and plays good music.“

“Sipsip is a great rooftop bar right in the heart of Coconut Grove! The views at sunset are spectacular, and they have an extensive happy hour menu including both food and drink specials. I recommend the sliders and the rum cocktail, and they have a good selection of beers as well. There's usually a lot of staff members even at peak hours when the bar tends to get busy, so I've never had to wait too long to be served. To get to the rooftop, just walk thru the lobby of the hotel and head to the elevators on the left of the atrium. You won't be disappointed!“

“I read the negative reviews before I decided to give this place a try. I'm not sure what the negative reviews were talking about but my experience here was amazing. The food quality was wonderful and the customer service was great. I arrived at 6pm when they opened. I went with the two tender and fries combo number two. It was delicious. I love cheese so I added cheese on my tenders. I give this place a 10 out of 10. The experience was great. Highly recommended to everyone. Don't fall for the negative reviews. Try it for yourself and see if you like it. Everyone is different.“
