“My first experience dining here, read the reviews and they sounded good so decided to book a reservation. Arrived at the restaurant had to park four blocks away parking is atrocious. The hostess was busy talking on her phone, never a good sign. Sat down finally, decided on an appetizer and some entrees the waiter came back and said they were out of the appetizer, started off bad. Very limited fish dishes, ordered a steak dish and a fish dish,nothing spectacular and it was tough we did not say anything to the waiter the whole situation from beginning to end a total disappointment, couldn't wait to leave, actually felt nauseated after leaving after eating my fish with risotto, it was so greasy. Very loud place hard to have a conversation.I don't know what the hype is about this place because the prices do not match the food quality or the presentation. Would not recommend nor would I go back ever. The whole vibe was uninspiring and the atmosphere was just not a good experience or fun. I guess if you're a drinker this place might be fun but if you're not it makes waiting for your entree for 45 minutes more excruciating, was not impressed about anything about this place and I wanted to be. Note to manager find a Hostess that seems like she's interested in seating people and not talking on the phone. I could honestly say I had better food at the gas station on the way into town, the homemade empanadas there were amazing. All I can say to people is beware of reviews you'll get burned I know I have on several occasions. I've run into people who absolutely love this place while I've been in town, wish I could say the same. maybe I was there on an off night but waiting 45 minutes for an entree when three of their tables were seated and served before I was seemed a little strange. the wait staff seem tired and uninspired.“

“We had a lot of fun, BUT the ball machine was broken, and the above light half out not to mention, they double charged us on my credit card. So BEWARE they charge you at the bay for rental and food/drink when you leave and then ghost charge you later for the bay rental again with the card you reserved with. They don't answer the phones there or call back if you leave a message, so you have to do a dispute with your bank. SO pay attention and CHECK YOUR CC CHARGES Very unsavory business practice.“

“Had a retirement party for a Nurse at our surgical center. From the beginning, organizing it, Steve, the manager was outstanding so cooperative so easy to work with and the day of the party everything was set. The service was A+ the two individuals and I’m sorry I can’t remember their names they care and the way that they organized everything with 26 people was amazing. I thank you again Bert and Max’s. We had a wonderful celebration.“

“I hate to do this but I must. We were eating at Bizaare Cafe recently, all was going well until my boyfriend looked up and thought he saw something running along the floor. Sure enough rats were running around inside the restaurant while we and other diners were eating. I freaked and the manager or whoever she was came over and said yeah I know, we are taking care of it! Taking care of it she was not doing, she was serving food to people while she knew they had and still do have a rat problem. Her attitude shocked me as much as the rats did. I have been sick ever since(a week) with a sore throat and an overall sick feeling. I must say the food was good and if we hadn't seen them we would not have suspected anything. Now I know why they keep it so dark in there. Ugh!“

“I enjoyed my evening very much! My friend/brother from Atlanta flew into town and made reservations for all his friends in the area to meet here. My husband and I arrived and parking was a challenge. Once we were in the restaurant, though, sitting outside, the breeze, the water, the scenery - everything felt right. My husband and I had calamari and chicken wings. Top it all off with a rum runner and the night was delightful! Good food and good conversation - can't beat it. “We had a family dinner of five at Angle this past June. It was our first time at Angle (but not at the Eau), and from the minute the valet picked up our car to the minute he brought it back, it was an exceptional experience. Since it was the off-season, it was not crowded at all, which was nice. The soft piano music was a lovely touch. The wait staff was phenomenal, the food was incredible, and the great attention to detail was not lost on us. It was the small things, like the tree stand for the to go bag, the beautiful boxed chocolates that came with the bill, the acknowledgment of our special event, the greeting of “Mr.”, etc. The dining room is spotless, well spaced out, and comfortable. There were several people working, but it never felt crowded or like you were being watched. I only took a few pictures of what we ordered because we started eating immediately because it was so delicious. Lol. We are still sad that Polpo closed, but we loved Angle and will definitely be back.“

Unfortunately, they didn’t have a room with two beds for my friend and I but honestly, the experience at the restaurant saved my mind and heart. Rebecca was my server for brunch and she lovingly gave me amazing food recommendations! Touting the man who makes the smoked salmon sold me immediately and she did not oversell this amazing bonus side dish! “We are currently staying at Eau Palm Beach Resort for our vacation and chose Breeze Ocean Kitchen to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below the standards we expected from a luxury resort.

The pizza was clearly burnt (see photo). Our server insisted this was intentional and even suggested it was due to the dough fermentation process, but this was obviously not authentic Neapolitan pizza, it was simply burnt. While other staff members were friendly, our server’s dismissive attitude made the situation worse.

It’s disappointing that a special birthday celebration was affected by poor food quality and the way our concern was handled. We expected much better from a resort of this caliber.

Update: After I posted my review, the restaurant’s management called me personally to discuss our experience. They listened carefully to our concerns, sincerely apologized, and invited us back for dinner the following evening. Unfortunately, we were checking out the next morning, so we couldn’t accept their invitation.

Their genuine concern and personal follow up made a lasting impression. While our original dinner fell short of expectations, the way they handled the situation afterward demonstrated a true commitment to guest satisfaction. Because of the professionalism and care they showed in making things right, I’m updating my review to 5 stars. I only wish we had been able to take them up on their invitation before leaving.“
