My husband is a huge sushi lover, and me, not as much; but it was a nice date night for him, so I figured I’d get some gyoza and the wagyu and egg nigiri and be perfectly happy. Well, I was about to be SO impressed. We were sat at the sushi bar, and had the most amazing service from one of the sushi chefs. After we put in our order he overheard my husband thanking me for bringing him and the sushi chef realized I wasn’t much of a raw fish gal… he made it his goal to have me try something new that he thought would help bridge the gap. He absolutely astounded. I LOVED the nigiri he had me try so much and was overall so impressed with the passion and love that goes into the craft there. My husband said it has ruined all other sushi for him, lol. Amazing and so grateful we chose this place in a city full of excellent restaurants.“

“We had a wonderful lunch at Sushi Sake Miami Springs with my wife and another couple, who are also friends and Miami Springs residents. Everything was excellent, the food, the service, and the overall value.

Marianna took great care of us and made the experience even better with her friendly and attentive service. The servings were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I am always especially careful when eating raw fish, but everything we ordered tasted fresh, well prepared, and of excellent quality.

We are lucky to have a place like Sushi Sake right here in Miami Springs, so close to home. We will definitely be back!“

“I absolutely love Blue Ginger and go almost once a week. I truly enjoy the bar concept with the floating sushi boats. It’s such a fun way to try a variety of sushi instead of ordering one plate of the same thing. I’ve been coming here for years and they never disappoint.

A few days ago, I placed a catering order for a small get-together at my house. I ordered a platter where I could choose the sushi, and they had so many great options. I was blown away by how beautiful the tray was. The presentation was colorful, fresh, and top of the line.

“I don’t write reviews much at all. But upon trying this place for the first time and being a quarter into my meal I just had to write one. The presentation (especially getting it delivered for takeout) went above and beyond. My picture I’ll provide probably won’t do it justice. I ordered the 30 piece Dragon Tempura, Tori, and Heaven rolls. All of them were excellent. All in all an 11/10 would definitely recommend to a sushi lover. Great job guys“

Tongue— was good but a bit boring and forgettable

Lamb chops— was EXCELLENT, absolutely fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection!!

Espresso Martini— was very good, although a bit too sweet for my liking

This omakase was a very relaxed 2 hour seating, with remarkable views of the ocean and the north Miami skyline. “Matsuyoi easily ranks as the best omakase experiences my partner and I have ever had. Beyond the incredible freshness and flavor of every course, what really sets this place apart is the attention to detail at every touchpoint of the guest experience.

From the personalized welcome card to the intimate setting, the perfectly curated playlist, and the thoughtful gift at the end — everything feels intentional and beautifully executed. We also did the wine pairing and every dish was mouthwatering to say the LEAST. We got to chat with our seat neighbors and truly had a wonderful time. Very different from a traditional Omakase experience in that regard as well. The speakeasy type setup also made it feel exclusive and like a premium experience. It just felt sexy and fun!

“Sushi Siam is an absolute hidden gem. Their menu is extensive, featuring a mix of Thai and Japanese dishes, so there’s something for everyone.

The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared — it’s as much a treat for the eyes as it is for your taste buds. Beyond sushi, they also serve fantastic Pad Thai and Tom Kha Kai soup that are definitely worth trying.

What’s unique about this spot is that it’s almost always empty, likely because most of their business is takeout. But I actually loved the solitude — it feels like a private dining experience.

The building itself is definitely dated, giving off some serious Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom vibes (you’ll get the reference once you go). But honestly, that throwback vintage sushi restaurant vibe adds to its charm and makes the experience feel special.
