“I’ve been eating at Romo’s since they opened. Eloy, Mercy and the rest of the staff, have consistently provided a welcoming and fun environment with some of the best food you will find in South Florida. The churrasco is the best anywhere along with the pork chunks (masas de puerco) and pretty much every main plate and accompaniments. The sandwiches are delicious as are the desserts. You can also just stop by and have a cafecito and you’re bound to enjoy a good conversation with one of the owners who will come by your table to ensure all is well. I recently ordered a lechón, congris, and maduros and yuca meal for 10 for the holidays and the food was absolutely spectacular. The lechon sandwiches the next day were just as good. Highly recommend you visit this family owned and run gem“

“Found this place when I was putting gas in my car by the Wawa around the corner & when I tell you that this restaurant is an absolute gem... located in a small plaza in the corner of the building by the stairs, I walked in here curious of what they were offering. Great thing is that all their food is fresh and ready to serve, they put it on a to-go plate so you can leave right away or eat-in. Honestly, I couldn't decide on what to get because everything looked so delicious, so I decided to go with white rice, shredded beef and fried plantains. I had to sit down and tear it up because I was hungry... so why not. All I'm going to say is that I had to order a second plate to-go for later today & decided to try something else out. If you are by the area or if it's close to you, this is a must go-to restaurant if you want to be full and satisfy all your hunger needs. Phil’s service is way and beyond any place in the area, very patient with my usual indecisiveness. I went with a starving stomach but left with a grateful heart. “First, let me say that I am Brazilian and I ordered Uber Eats pickup. The pickup was very easy. Great service. Overall, food was good. Not excellent. I ordered the mixed meat platter medium-rare, but instead it was cooked medium-well (cooked all the way through). The beans tasted good but it was very watery. Fried yuca was good. Cheese bread tasted good but it needed a few more minutes in the oven.“
