After Google maps sent me on a wild goose chase & ending up nearly wrecking my bike (due to storm trees being in the bike path)-I ended up at Culver's again 2 days later & once again I was BLOWN AWAY at the service and food! “This is cutest place! I visited Daytona Beach for my birthday. I met some friends from out of town that rode on the plane with a guy that recommended this location. Robin and Charlotte waited on us when we visited and we had an amazing time talking with them. We ordered the lobster rolls, Caesar salad, cookies and cream gelato, and key lime pie. The food was amazing!! We’re glad that we made the trip. I’ll definitely be visiting again! If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!!“

“Unfortunately our visit this time (we come about once per month) was subpar. The good stuff - food was excellent and our server was good. Bad stuff - we had a reservation but were made to wait 20 minutes. Your front staff seemed flustered. I have to assume the folks at the table that was promised to us stayed longer than they should have? Maybe you put folks there earlier with no reservation? That’s unclear. But what is clear is that the ability to make a reservation so we don’t have to wait keeps us coming to Sonapa. So it was a let down. I think better management of reserved tables is needed and if you seat someone without reservations at a table that is reserved for 5:45, let the party know they need to vacate by then.“

“The food was delicious. We dined on the jagerschnitzel as it is served with the gravy. I’ve had authentic German jagerschnitzel and this was the same- just as I was hoping. I also had the chef’s vegetables and I loved the seasoning, because let’s be honest vegetables are usually boring, but not here. The staff were pleasant. The bread and butter divine. The food came quickly. Lovely date night venue.“

“Unbelievable service by Stephanie. Extremely personable, explained the menu and prompt service. Consistently filled water glasses and checked on us. Great hire. Took my friends from out of town for the 1st time. Great choices for appetizers, had the gator nuggets and lobster bites. Both were delicious and highly recommend. I tried Hogfish for the 1st time. .The crab spinach dip with homemade chips were fantastic.Perfectly prepared and Gouda grits were so Gouda! The tropical slaw was one of the best ever. My one friend had the Jonah crabs which surprisingly were difficult to crack and meat fell apart. Recommend getting a smaller sturdy fork. The other had the stuffed flounder which was excellent. Highly recommend this place, great food. Service and ocean view to boot. Also one of the few restaurants that take reservations. My neighbors feel more restaurants should allow locals to make reservations.“
