It’s just the owner and sometimes her partner running the whole operation, and somehow they manage to keep everything consistent, flavorful, and absolutely worth the stop. It’s inspiring to see small businesses like this thriving with such heart behind them. A must-visit for anyone in Pensacola—vegan or not!“

“Restaurant Iron has long been our go-to destination in downtown Pensacola. Its intimate ambiance, dedicated upscale menu, and consistent quality made it stand out above any other establishment in the area. We’ve brought out-of-town guests to showcase the richness of the local cuisine, always confident that the experience—from the first cocktail to the last bite of Nutella or raspberry ganache pie—would impress. Our typical order was a ritual: shareable truffle fries, a perfectly cooked ribeye (always photo-worthy), and a decadent dessert to close. These elements, paired with the cozy atmosphere, were what made Iron so special. Unfortunately, our most recent visit on May 9 was deeply disappointing. Despite the torrential downpour, we didn’t think twice about keeping our reservation. But upon arrival, we were met with an entirely different experience. The menu, which now features sliders and sandwich-style dishes, felt more suited for a casual lunch spot than the refined dining experience we had come to love. Several signature dishes were removed, and the new offerings didn’t align with the elevated identity Iron once upheld. Even the menu design itself no longer reflects the restaurant’s original charm. Service also fell short of expectations. We were served the wrong salad, and the correct one arrived without dressing. Dessert—though eventually comped—took an unexpectedly long time to be served, rounding out an already lackluster evening. We truly hope this is a temporary shift. Restaurant Iron was once our top choice for special occasions and recommendations. But based on our last visit, we no longer feel confident choosing it for a date night or referring friends and family. Please reconsider restoring the signature dishes and experience that made Iron exceptional.“

I had the stuff. Flounder! It was so good. Presentation was beautiful. My husband had deep fried chicken plate and the macaroni and cheese and greens was so delicious. Literally five stars!!!!“

“We love Wild Honey and we are so happy that it is closer to us now. We attended multiple events in 2025 and decided to start 2026 off with a sweet treat. Bonnie (Bonnie Bee on the receipt) was less than nice and professional unfortunately. Telling me to calm down because I didn’t know if my kids consistently picking up their cups off the scale, I had to ask her if she was able to get the weight of them…. Very disappointing but we do love coming in. We will be frequenting the pace location instead, as they are friendly and much better at communicating when they have the weight logged so I don’t have to sit there and explain to the kids to stop grabbing for their sweet treat. Kids will be kids but your customers are most likely with children so Bonnie needs better training in communication so parents are not just waiting until they have to ask for the total or ask if their product has been weighed.“

They wrote his name on the board, stowed our birthday cake in their fridge and brought it out with candles lit the time came to sing. “They were pretty busy, so the service seemed to be dragging as we were outside and it was a tad chilly. However, we really did like our waitress, and she took good care of us. The food was fantastic, and we ordered a couple of nice cold beers. She took a few minutes to tell us about the history of the restaurant and encouraged us to go in and see the brick oven, which I did. A cook was shoving a huge pizza in there when I walked in, so it's not just a show piece, they actually are using the brick oven! We enjoyed this place a lot. Not from here, just passing through, but we will be sure to stop in again on our way through! Thank you to the kind cook for the photo opp! :)“

I had Chicken parm but subbed for their rustic Alfredo with a level hot spice to it! Have you ever had spice Alfredo? No? Me neither. Now I may never be able to eat it the same way. Wife had the eggplant parm. Great texture and the red sauce tasted like the tomatoes were picked and smashed earlier that day. Again, beautiful experience. Make sure to get your reservations because otherwise you probably won’t get a table!“

Moved on to the faccacia, light crust, beautiful cheese...heavenly. then the main course two gorgeous pizzas, from the thin crust to the stretchy cheese and beautiful leopard spots on the crust from the 900 degree oven, these pizzas were delicious and just what was needed!! My group of 16 consisted vegans, vegetarians, someone with religious dietary restrictions, and people who are everything. Ozone Pizza hit a home run! They didn't blink at my take out order. They said 30 minutes and I believe it was ready to the very minute. Very friendly staff. As far as the pizza, DELICIOUS! I highly recommend Ozone Pizza Pub. Thank you so much!!!“
