“Authentic Peruvian fusion cuisine with amazing atmosphere and outstanding service. A true gem In Pinecrest. The ceviche is the best in town with real fresh fish. My favorite is the Apaltado 1111 Ceviche with the amazing leche de Tigre and avocados !! The sticky shrimps are a must. 1111 has a fabulous Pisco sour selection and imported drinks. Don’t leave without finishing with a sweet bite of the dreamy suspiro limeño it will literally take your breath away. The Friday life music was fantastic too. May I also add that the home delivery service is fantastic, the food will arrive quickly, in perfect presentation and fresh, same quality as in the restaurant. I just plated it and had a gorgeous and delicious dinner party at home.“

“We had a fantastic evening at Hiyakawa—warm hospitality, generous portions, and an omakase that reminded us why this place is so special. Chef Royce’s talent really shines in the precision and balance of each course.

The shrimp nigiri was the standout for us—cooked to perfection—closely followed by the otoro with caviar, which was a wonderfully generous touch and beautifully balanced. My friend loved the monkfish liver, and I was especially impressed by the baby eel nigiri.

Chef Jaimie’s dishes were also memorable—especially the steamed tofu, which was incredibly silky and tasty, with a delicate, well-balanced flavor. The perfectly fried shrimp head was a treat, and the refreshing dessert ended the meal on a light, clean note.

I don’t want to make it racial, but as the only person to lower their voice as the only black person in the restaurant, it felt very jarring to see everyone else speaking at a louder volume than I was and any it wasn’t a problem. “I celebrated my Mom’s 89th Birthday at Japan Inn located in Doral with a Hibachi Lunch and everything turned out great! From the time we made the reservation for our party of 20 they were very accommodating and helpful. We were allowed to take our own cake, some balloons for decor and the ambiance was super! From the Servers to the Hibachi Chefs … everyone was pleasant, the food yummy and the service outstanding. Everyone in our party was happy and satisfied with the experience and our celebration…especially the birthday girl, my Mom. I highly recommend Japan Inn in Doral for any occasion. There’s ample parking, the restaurant is clean and the spacious setting is very nice. Plus Roger, the Manager, is very professional as well as the whole team who work there. “The chefs special sashimi was so fresh. Texture was very delicate and melted in the mouth. The toro hand roll was filled with delicious fatty tuna and had the right amount of bite. Loved seeing the two talented sushi masters upfront working their craft, precisely cutting the fish, into vibrant work of arts.

Service was wonderful too would come again! The handroll was so good I ordered an additional toro and salmon roll.“

“We went to Elyu last night (on recommendation of one of the moms on my son’s baseball team) and did the sake pairing. What a great experience - from the ambience (classic omikase bar with modern feel and authentic wall decorations) to the service (from the manager to the conversation with the chefs to the sake sommelier) to the FOOD (every piece was an explosion of flavor, and each piece looked like a work of art - in contrast to other omikases where flavors are more subtle and presentation more plain vanilla - this was because of the chef’s dual Japanese and Filipino heritage, which he shows as fusion in his omikase). I can honestly say i had flavor profiles i never experienced before, the menu was so creative. The chefs were accommodating to my dietary requests, and when we arrived there were personalized menus with each of our names on them - very nice touch.

“I've been meaning to try Sushi Corner after reading many reviews about how tasty and affordable this restaurant is, finding all these reviews to be completely true! This hole in the wall gem of West Kendall is well worth your time to try! I came in with my boyfriend last night to their small no frills location and was immediately greeted by our server who was very attentive throughout our whole meal. It's true that they do serve everything using plastic ware which to me doesn't matter at all. I care about the quality of food and the food is definitely top notch! My boyfriend and I decided to order various menu items to share. I started with a hot bowl of Miso Soup $2 which was good; loved the portion which I felt was more than most places. Next we had the Rainbow Roll $10 (California roll topped w/various fish) which was glaringly fresh and came out beautifully. The Sexy Roll $10 (fish tempura, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, rolled w/soy paper, tempura flakes, eel sauce, spicy mayo) was by far my favorite just because of all the incredible flavors in it. The Florida Roll $9 (spicy conch, cucumber, masago) definitely surprised me with its spice level and amount of conch within it. Lastly, we ordered the Sushi Corner Fried Rice $8 (chicken, shrimp, vegetables, and masago) which ultimately surprised me in portion and tastiness. The fried rice isn't over done with soy sauce so it remains tasting light though its also savory because of a smoky flavor. So tasty! “Great Hibachi Find in Kendall, Miami Dade. Delicious hibachi and abundant portions at an affordable price which was $24.

We ordered two plates of steaks and shrimps. They came with mushroom soup, salad, house ginger and carrots dressing.

The steaks were tender and the portions were large. The shrimps were 6 large and juicy pieces. The yum yum sauce was delicious.

The restaurant is located in a shopping center off of Kendall Drive with Plenty of free parking spaces.

The restaurant was clean and cozy. The decor was simple but well balanced. The staff were friendly and polite.

We enjoyed the food extremely and we plan to return with the rest of our large family. I highly recommend it to family and friends.“
