“On Sept 11th my husband & I enjoyed a delightful and most delicious meal. It was our anniversary and the staff made it even more special. The only downside is when we paid the bill we were not told that the tip would be POS entered separately from our account. My husband checked our account and he thought the tip had not been given. So he made a trip to Carmelo's to ask about why and to correct. He was told the tip was done separately - think this should be told to their guests. Thank you for a lovely evening and amazing food.”

“If you're looking for a new place to try take this as you're signed to go here. My first time here today and the food is amazing. It is so fresh and tasty. I tried the Bjorek and it's overflowing with deliciousness. I loved that when I walked in the people who worked there were super friendly and gave suggestions on what to try. I got my food to go but the atmosphere is so nice. Great place for a lunch date or a catch up session with a friend. I will definitely be back there are many more things I need to try.”

“We called with a party of 10 and got a recording stating that reservations were not taken. We arrived and were told that there were no tables available and that we should have made reservations. We explained that we tried to and showed the Hostess the Website and number we called. We asked to speak with the Manager to make him aware of the website. Travis introduced himself and seated us temporarily outside( it was not the best of Florida weather this night) and had staff circle heaters around our table and brought us complimentary appetizers until they could accommodate all of us. Travis gave us his personal cell # and in our opinion went above and beyond to make this a Special Evening for all of us. This is not our first time here, but it was with such a large group. Justina was our Server and is Personality Plus The food is always excellent”

“Visited Mainely for the first time today, and we were so impressed! The conch fritters were small but delicious. I took a chance and ordered the hot lobster roll. Best lobster roll I've had in my life! Being from Massachusetts, I've tried my share, and they are always overpriced and underwhelming. This was reasonably priced and loaded with big chunks of lobster. My sons got the fish and chips and the grouper fingers. Fish and chips wasn't the traditional puffy New England breading, but my son still liked it. Hubby got a Po Boy full of huge shrimp on a big toasted hoagie. The fries were outstanding, and there was actually vinegar on the table (iykyk)! The only negative was that the air conditioning did not seem to be working and the oil in the air burned our eyes a little. Overall, this little no-frills-just-great-food spot is highly recommended and this New England girl will be back to try the scallops and fried clam strips! p.s. I would love to see clam cakes on the menu!”

“Went back to Brooklyn Joe's today. Had the sausage with onions and peppers. It did have red sauce and white American cheese on it. I'm sure you could have provolone or something different if you choose to , but the sandwich was very good. The sausage had a good fresh flavor with a nice spice to it. Plus the pizza by the slice is good. I noticed that older people were seated eating plus young kids coming in to eat. Also workers coming in for lunch. The food is good and the place has a good character about it. The employees have a good personality and all seem to be welcome. Thanks”

“Honestly I love this place but it can be very frustrating waiting for food sometimes an hour or more. Note the food is always near flawless. Also it would be great if they’d occasionally have some brown ales. Not everyone wants an ipa and I can’t imagine 5 ciders are always necessary.”

“Went to Burg’r Bar about 5 weeks ago before having shoulder surgery. We loved it. Best burger and fries I’ve had in Florida. We sat outside and our server was great!!! Why do people write about how great it was and then give it 4 stars instead of 5??? I’m in Punta Gorda today (3/18/22) and as soon as I get done with my final post op appointment, we’re headed to the Burg’r Bar again!!! YUM!!!”

“During our recent visit to the Waffle House in Punta Gorda, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, while my fiancé opted for two eggs, grits, and toast. Both dishes were served promptly and prepared to perfection, resulting in a very satisfying meal. The only suggestion is to put a little less butter on the grits. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very good, however the bathrooms, while generally clean, could benefit from a more thorough cleaning in the future (floor tiles and tops of tiles on wall). Nonetheless, I felt comfortable using the facilities. Our waitress, Christina, provided excellent service, contributing to the overall positive experience. For those seeking a reliable breakfast spot in Punta Gorda, this Waffle House is highly recommended. Even with the $.50 per egg surcharge, the price was very reasonable. I do not mind paying the surcharge. You can tell this restaurant is managed well.”

“This is my favorite McDonalds and we try to stop here every time we drive between Tampa and Miami. It is always crowded but the wait times are short and the service is excellent the people behind the counter are always smiling and very helpful. The ordering kiosks work well. The bathrooms are clean and available. The food is standard MckyD fare - hot , well seasoned and overall excellent”

“This is one of the few ice cream shops that I visited that have soft serve ice cream. I like how you can get two flavors and they are blended together. I looked up where I could go to get this and this restaurant came up near me. I gave it a shot and called a take out order. The lady who answered was super helpful in helping me with my order since I wasn’t familiar with the menu and was very patient with me. When I got there to pick up, the staff was amazing and made the place feel so welcoming. They seemed really happy and made the whole place shine. They packaged everything really nicely. When I got home to drop my husbands off, he was very happy and it was exactly what he was wanting. I brought mine to work and put it together there since they packaged the broth separately. Was absolutely amazing! Totally made my Friday. I got the shrimp one since the lady I spoke with on the phone recommended it to me based on what I was looking for since I wasn’t familiar with the menu. Amazing recommendation. “Restaurant was very clean the night we visited. Service was only fair I’m sorry to say. Food was very fresh! I had ahi tuna bowl and companion had shrimp bowl. Views are terrific. Other than under-ripe mango, there were no complaints. I would, however, give the calamari a pass - very thin slivers of frozen calamari in a taste-free breading ? Weird. Still, I’ll give it another try!”

“Had a great visit at PG Culver’s today. Was greeted by a jovial cheese-head who was highly recommending the new chicken sandwiches. We stuck w the butter burgers and he was very helpful & efficient taking our order. His coworker w long blond hair delivered our order to the table in record time. “Golden Corral Punta Gorda 5-18-24: Stopped by for dinner at 4:30ish and this place was packed. The parking lot was full and once inside the right side of all the tables were occupied. This place was clean and everything around the food areas were also clean. I have been to this place a couple times as my dad who is 92 loves this buffet and all the food choices. The main food bar is packed with all kinds of food items to choose from. To start at one end is Steak, Mushrooms, Onions & Peppers, Onion Rings, Ribs, Meat Loaf, Fried Shrimp, Chicken Wings, Fried Chicken, Bourbon Street Chicken, Pot Pie, Fried or baked Fish, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Corn, Macaroni & Cheese, Rolls, Baked Potatoes, all kinds of vegetables this is just to name a few. On the Taco bar there is Taco Meat, Shells and all the fixings to make any kind of tacos you want. Now the salad bar is packed with all kinds of fruit, and they also have crab salad. There is so much to choose from and too much to name. The desert bar has all kinds of cakes and pies plus ice cream and some fixings for that. I use to get pie and bread pudding for dessert, it was so good. I don’t care for the ice cream but others in my party loved it. I got the steak for the main course, and they will do it how you like it. The Steak was good, not too tough, and not too chewy, it was large enough. I always get the Fried Shrimp and Mashed Potatoes and they both were good and hot. I make sure I get some Pot Pie as it reminds me of back home. It was hot, full of Chicken and very good. I end up with the crab salad now its imitation crab but its good enough for me as I try to stay away from deserts. This place has never disappointed me as far as the quantity of food they have. It is a buffet and if you want a 5 diamond or Michelin star restaurant this may not be the place for you. If you want a large selection of food and food that is tasty this may be just the place for you. I say try it and draw your own conclusion. “Went to Burg’r Bar about 5 weeks ago before having shoulder surgery. We loved it. Best burger and fries I’ve had in Florida. We sat outside and our server was great!!! Why do people write about how great it was and then give it 4 stars instead of 5??? I’m in Punta Gorda today (3/18/22) and as soon as I get done with my final post op appointment, we’re headed to the Burg’r Bar again!!! YUM!!!”

“Met family there ( Punta Gorda) for dinner. The service was great and attentive. The food was outstanding. I had the “ Tour of Italy” and it was cooked perfectly and no way I could finish it in one sitting. The sauce is probably the best I’ve had since living in SW Florida. “This is my favorite McDonalds and we try to stop here every time we drive between Tampa and Miami. It is always crowded but the wait times are short and the service is excellent the people behind the counter are always smiling and very helpful. The ordering kiosks work well. The bathrooms are clean and available. The food is standard MckyD fare - hot , well seasoned and overall excellent”

“We dined at the Punta Gorda Restaurant and the food was very good with enough to take home leftovers. The server was super. He came and checked on us many times during our dinner. The restaurant is very clean and servers are clean cut & well dressed. I would give the place a 5 Star rating.”

“We tried Elena's yesterday while visiting Punta Gorda. We really liked our experience. Our waitress was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. Service was fast, almost too fast in that our meal arrived before we finished our salad and soup. The food was fresh and tasted great. I personally didn't care for the gravy (with the chicken dinner), but it was okay. Everything else was great. Portion sizes are large. Prices are very, very good. Their menu is diverse, and I'd love to visit again to try some of their other offerings. Great, cozy ambiance feel to the place as well.”

“If you're looking for a new place to try take this as you're signed to go here. My first time here today and the food is amazing. It is so fresh and tasty. I tried the Bjorek and it's overflowing with deliciousness. I loved that when I walked in the people who worked there were super friendly and gave suggestions on what to try. I got my food to go but the atmosphere is so nice. Great place for a lunch date or a catch up session with a friend. I will definitely be back there are many more things I need to try.”

“I stopped by yesterday after a day at the beach and this place absolutely hit the spot. The food was incredibly fresh and comforting. The dough was amazing and the pizzas were exactly how a real Cuban pizza should be. Perfectly crispy corners with that soft, warm, fluffy inside.
I ordered extra to take home and my family was obsessed with it too (my dad could not stop talking about it, saying the dough was exactly like the OG Cuban pizzas from his childhood). Every single bite tasted fresh and made with care.
What made the experience even better was the service. Everyone was so warm, friendly, and attentive. They treated us with such kindness that it honestly felt like being welcomed by family. When you find a place with both amazing food and people who genuinely care about their customers, you leave feeling very happy and satisfied.
I live a bit far from this location, but thankfully they recently opened one in Cape Coral, which means my whole family will definitely be going! If you are craving real delicious Cuban pizza made the right way, this place is absolutely worth the visit!”

“Stopped in to get a soufflé. The first thing the staff asked is if we wanted a pup cup or a dog bone. Our dog preferred the pup cup of course. Ordered and went outside to eat. The soufflé appeared different than the ones up north but still tasty.”

“Our favorite express breakfast stop! Great coffee, smoothies, breakfast sandwhiches and bakery items. We come to Punta 4-5 times a year and always hit it up several times. Our favorite thing to do is grab a coffee and go to a beach chair to consume. Workers are fantastic!”
