“Enjoyed our first stop in Tampa at Flan Factory! Esther greeted us with enthusiasm and asked if we had ever been there. After saying it was our first time in Tampa as well as her son's restaurant, she gave us what she thought we'd love. The food and Flan was AMAZING!! I later went inside to talk with her and she and her husband were the most genuinely hospitable people you could ever meet. She recommended great beaches, etc. And we exchanged information about our cultures and favorite places to visit. She loves Nashville ❤️. Told her to come visit us in Tupelo for the Elvis Museum. Hope she and her husband visit. Please look us up. Thank you for an amazing impression of Tampa and for the best Cuban sandwich and authentic fried rice and the best Flan EVER! Love you guys!“

“What an amazing little gem in Brandon!! We randomly stopped in for a late lunch and were greeted immediately with the delicious smell of authentic Cuban food and then by such a sweet woman behind the counter. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and the Palomilla plate that came with a choice of rice, beans and plantains. We also had to try the yucca. Let me just say WOW!!! Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for the service we got and a great experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“DO NOT EAT LUNCH AT THIS RESTAURANT!!! Unless you have major self control! Unfortunately, I do not and my lunch ended with me taking a nap! I basically feel into a Cuban food coma…apparently it IS a real thing. 😁😄 😆Everything looked and smelled amazing and the customer service was top notch also. The lady asked me if I wanted to try anything before I made a decision and she was very informative. If I had to say anything negative… they made the empanada too hot! They are made fresh to order and I HAD to take a bite before I left the parking lot! Sure, I did burn my mouth… but I don’t care and will do it again! 100% worth it! 🤪 $24 total and that included tip. I couldn’t wait to leave a review! I can not wait to introduce my family to this establishment. Pictured: yellow rice with half black and half garbanzo beans, plantains, stew chicken (Monday special)with vegetables and in the containers are marinated pork and the rest of my empanada.“

“Listen out here in the world you can come across some places to eat. Some are a lot nicer and cleaner than others. And I'm gonna have to say this one is way up there on that list. “I always order the pork empanadas here and they're very good. Today i ordered pork, ham and cheese empanadas and i was disappointed. Although the pork it's good, it's ripped in long pieces and when you take a bite you pull most of the pork out. Also, the ham and cheese it's almost inexistent, so it's basically a roasted pork empanada. I told them about it and they didn't even asked if i wanted something different.“

“I’m from Tampa. Spent my entire life here. I have made it my buisness to know the little “hole in wall” local places. This is exactly that. I used to come here all the time years ago. It’s been quite some time so when I moved back to this area I was eager to find out if this place survived the pandemic. Thank god it did. The cafe con leche is buttery and creamy. The Cuban toast is crunchy and soft on the inside. The food is awesome and authentic. The service is informal but I don’t mind that at all. The prices I believe are the best part. This isn’t the place that will run you 20$ for a coffee and sandwich. Ive been coming here for years and will continue to for as long as I can. I recommend“
