“Restaurant Paradis delivered one of the most exceptional dining experiences we’ve had in a very long time. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtfully curated, but what truly set the evening apart was the impeccable service from Rodney. He was attentive without being overbearing, offered stellar recommendations, and genuinely elevated the entire experience, especially as we celebrated my mom’s birthday. He made the night feel personal and unforgettable.

The food was nothing short of divine. We started with the oysters Rockefeller, which were rich, perfectly balanced, and beautifully prepared. The soft shell crab special was outstanding, delicate yet flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The grilled salad and burrata added a fresh, vibrant contrast that tied everything together effortlessly.

For entrées, the filet paired with a tempura lobster tail and truffle was indulgent in all the right ways, each element executed flawlessly. The grouper special “Taste of the Sea,” featuring lump blue crab, a tarragon cream sauce, lobster rice pilaf, was even more impressive, showcasing incredible quality and freshness. The BEST!

And to finish, the chocolate orange torte was the perfect ending, decadent, refined, and absolutely delicious.

We all left the table saying the same thing: this was the best meal we’ve had in a very long time. Restaurant Paradis exceeded every expectation, and we cannot wait to return.“

“Today was our first visit to Shades Bar & Grill. We were there for lunch & the food & service (our server was Sarah) could not have been better. We ordered the chicken & sausage gumbo, Philly cheesesteak & the chicken jalapeño ranch wrap. Our sides were onion rings & sweet potato fries, however we had a hard time making a selection because of the many great food options to choose from. All the food was delicious & Sarah was a top notch server who was friendly, prompt & efficient. Definitely recommend & will visit Shades again when back in the area.“

“Ticheli’s Pizza on 30A is an awesome spot if you want great food and a fun atmosphere. The wood-fired pizza has incredible flavor with that perfect crispy crust, and you can really taste the difference from the wood-fired grill. Everything came out fresh, hot, and loaded with quality ingredients.

What really makes the place stand out is the atmosphere — live music, laid-back 30A vibe, and a great outdoor setting that makes you want to hang out for a while. They’re typically only open for dinner, but we were fortunate to experience one of their special daytime brunches—and it was a standout from start to finish! Jimmy, the GM, welcomed us and had us seated quickly on their covered patio, which was perfect even with the steady rain. The chef created a beautiful brunch menu for the occasion, and our server, Kiyonta, was friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. We started with Deviled Eggs, the Seasonal Fruit Plate, and the Caesar Salad—each dish fresh, flavorful, and elegantly presented. For our entrées, we chose the Shrimp and Grits (incredible!), the Lox and Avocado, and Edward’s Omelet. Every bite was delicious, and the plating was as impressive as the flavors. We ended our meal with a trio of desserts: the housemade ice cream sandwich, crème brûlée, and key lime pie. Each one was delightful, but the ice cream sandwich may have stolen the show. “This past weekend shaka hosted my baby shower outside on their gorgeous patio and it couldn't have turned out more perfect! They brought in someone to work the bar and helped cater to our every need. There was so much space and the venue was breath taking! Kenyon Deal is the guy to see. He made sure we had everthing we needed before all of our guests arrived and numerous guests who attended noted that is was the best baby shower they had ever been to! So greatful for the amazing staff and will be using them again for any future needs! 100 out of 10 would recommend.“

“We are holed up at our rental property with all the bad weatherlike everybody else. our runner told us that this place was authentic and man she wasn't kidding. First off she's from New Jersey and knows good Italian food and secondly the owners are from Long Island New Jersey and New York. The lemon shrimp off the chain. The Caesar is like a shot of garlic cream unbelievable.. The pizza was cooked perfectly. My Italian sub stacked and the pasta salad that came with it and the pepperoncini's amazing. if you get the lemon shrimp you have to dip the breadsticks in it :-)“

“We went here on a Tuesday afternoon so it was not very busy. Food was delicious and fresh. Much better than a lot of Thai restaurants I have tried around the area. I love Tom Kha soup and their’s has just the right amount of spice and flavor. Thai fried rice was delicious. Sweet and sour chicken has a great taste as well. Crab Rangoons were amazing. I loved the presentation of the dishes as well with the cucumbers and orange slices. I will definitely be coming again!“

“I made a reservation 3–4 days in advance because this breakfast was meant to be a birthday surprise for my husband.

When I booked the table, I specifically spoke with the staff and explained that I would like them to bring out a small piece of cake with a candle at the end of our meal. I even told them that if they didn't have cake, they could simply put a candle in a dessert or any item and add the cost to my bill. I was more than happy to pay for it.

Unfortunately, none of this was done. It was very disappointing and honestly spoiled my mood because I wasn't able to surprise my husband on his birthday the way I had planned. Since I arranged everything several days in advance, I expected this simple request would be taken into consideration.

That being said, I do want to mention that the food was very delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The quality of the food was excellent. I just wish the staff had followed through on the birthday request, as it would have made the experience truly special.“
