“I usually get shrimp fried rice, while my husband gets various sushi for us. We are obsessed! Though it is a bit pricy, it is worth it for the quality. Normally places will give you few pieces of shrimp and a ton of rice, Tokyo Sushi Bar gives you bang for your buck! We never regret coming here and even make a date night out of here because it's so good.“

Every time we go eat here no matter the time of day we are in awe of the great service and the delicious food. We most recently went to celebrate my birthday and our server was Megan she was seriously amazing and made it feel like such a special experience! “I can confidently say that Ebisu Sushi is hands down my favorite restaurant in Tampa. We visit 1-3 times a week, and each experience is consistently fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is top-notch—the speed at which they prepare and serve the food is almost unbelievable.

As for the food itself, it’s phenomenal. My go-to favorites are the Hawaiian and Florida rolls, which never disappoint. Lately, we’ve been branching out and trying one of their specialty rolls every time we visit, and honestly, I haven’t had a single one that I didn’t love. It’s hard to recommend just one because they’re all so delicious!

If you’re a sushi lover in Tampa, Ebisu is a must-try. I couldn’t imagine a better spot for fresh, fast, and consistently amazing sushi.

Parking: The parking lot at Ebisu Sushi is on the smaller side and can feel a bit crowded at times. We often prefer to walk when we can, but on the occasions we do drive, we’ve always been able to find parking without an issue.

“Whether it’s the sushi or a bento box or donburi bowl it’s all really good and I enjoy eating there before or between classes. Van is a really cool dude and is very accommodating, definitely one of the nicest and chillest dudes I’ve ever met. Overall pretty good I’d recommend it for sure.“

“Very nice place, seems very popular. Many appetizers both hot and cold to choose from. There was also many entrees and a large sushi menu. We ordered 5 rolls that was more than plenty to eat. It did not come out all together on a boat style plate like you see at many sushi restaurants but on individual plates because each roll had it's own accent sauce to it. Very delicious. Our server Heather was very attentive as well as the rest of the staff. We will be back.“

“We stopped by Zukku Sushi right after getting off a cruise and were one of the first customers when they opened at 11 AM, everything was super fresh. My youngest was craving sushi, so we waited for them to open, and it was well worth it. He loved his spicy tuna nigiri and shrimp volcano roll. My friend ordered the Lobster Volcano roll, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was beautifully presented, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We’d definitely come back if we’re in the area again!“

“After a year of waiting, I was finally able to try Kosen for the first time. Absolutely worth the wait. The food was meticulously curated, and the service was top notch. Far too often, you are beaten to death with the same classic pairings that you have enjoyed elsewhere. That is not the case here. Many of the dishes included ingredients from the laundry list of items that they fermented in house. What a great way to ensure the experience is uniquely their own. It seemed like each member of their service team had stopped by to introduce themselves and ask if they could do anything to enhance the experience. The courses were paced well, and service was attentive. In a world of cookie cutter omakase and sushi restaurants popping up and offering little to distinguish themselves from eachother, Kosen was refreshingly original. The Michelin recognition is well deserved and I look forward to my next visit. Huge thank you to Dakota, Andrew and the rest of the team for making such a memorable experience.“

Until I ate here there was only one oriental type restaurant I would eat at but this has changed my mind. We had the Black Dragon Roll, Hurricane Roll, Gyoza and the Crab Rangoon. It was Heaven!
