“We have always enjoyed the food at Sea Dog. But the new menu really takes it up a few notches! We had the crab cakes (so moist and flavorful, lots of crab; 2 big crab cakes), the steak tips (cooked to perfection and the sauce is so good) for appetizers. The chicken dishes were great, tender and moist. Our favorite entrees last night were the stuffed salmon (again, cooked really well, moist and flavorful) and the truffle mushroom ravioli. Some of the best raviolis I’ve ever had. Fresh pasta, nice filling, and the port sauce is out of this world. It’s a really solid vegetarian option and Chef said it can be made vegan too without compromising the taste. For dessert, the family recipe brownies are a must, and the blueberry crumble was fantastic. I’m so glad there’s great food on the beach in a casual and fun environment!“

“We ate here 2 nights while staying on the beach this week. The hummus and flatbread along with their house salad for a starter was sooo good. The coconut shrimp was good and the coconut curry snapper was the best fish I have ever tasted and I grew up in Florida. The dish is not sweet and the flavor is amazing along with fish cooked perfect. Don’t hesitate to eat here it was our best meal when in St Pete Beach. Thanks Snappers we will be back!“

“Excellent food and service plus very affordable prices! The paella, shrimp+grits and shrimp+pasta were all delicious. However, it was the curry shrimp+rice and the ceviche that were the show stoppers. The curry sauce was absolutely incredible! And the trio of ceviche were so unique and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!“

Tried the soups they are known for and their signature dish the shrimp pasta—wow!!! Erect combination of flavor and consistency and the shrimp were cooked just right! Even my husband kept grabbing a bite!

“We were in SPB this past week. Rick’s was a couple blocks away. Went there for breakfast and supper and every time, the food was awesome! Service was top notch. Such a fun little place to go. We’ll definitely hit them up next time we’re up there.“

“We were disappointed Monday...... they were out of coconut shrimp, the fish special, and their normal French fries. Although we mentioned how bad the French fries were to the waitress, no substitute was offered. We also had to stop another waitress to get drink refills. I emailed the restaurant, but no response. The wharf is our go-to restaurant at St Pete Beach..... the fried shrimp and fish basket were very good, but we were surprised at the food they were out of at 6:30 at night.“

“The owner is very friendly the food is light and not a heavy buttery seasoning. It’s more like a boil with butter on the side. I enjoyed my snowcrab sausage, potatoes and shrimp. The only thing I would add is little more spice, but other than that, I enjoyed my food.“

“All I can say is get there early. This is a popular place. The food is great and it has the neighborhood feel. Small inside seating for carry out only. 4 chairs. Menu and pricing around ordering window so get the way you want. Pricing is competitive to the sign of the time. The taste is worth it.
The outside could be better picked up but not bad for that task everyday.
Great parking with easy access to the entry which seen to be out the door most times. Definitely worth the money. Sorry I didn't take pictures.“

I paid so much more for overcooked seafood at SPINNERS where wine is 16dollars a glass.This place knows how to cook seafood where a 10dollar lobster and huge shrimp are better than high price places. Waiter explained menu choices patiently and my drink was amazing even on 5dollar margarita nite.nice and strong.A northerner my first seafood boil was a fun and delicious. “The Hurricane Seafood restaurant was an awesome experience! We called them the day of to see if they could accommodate 13 collegiate basketball players and their coaches and families, and they made it happen! We were in and out of there in two hours and got to enjoy a gorgeous sunset in a really fun atmosphere. The food was fantastic and so was the service! Thank you Russ, Carrie and Lisa!“
