“Haven't seen one in years. Went to Orlando and there it was. Got the 2 fish special. Was ok, a bit greasy but tasted alright. Probably pay a bit more and get better fish. Not sure. Add 5 shrimp for $1.99 was a boost. Not gourmet , however useful if a quick meal is in order. Staff was very friendly and helpful.“

I went with a friend who is a former chef and still works in the food industry, it is his favorite place in Orlando.Parking: It's a super popular place. When I got there parking was that an absolute minimum and you had to do valet. I drove around the block to find free street parking.“

“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."“

“We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday here for brunch on a Sunday. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. We had a large party of 16 and they didn’t miss a beat. The drinks were fantastic and the food excellent. Everyone had a great time ! I highly recommend for any celebration !“

“I was surprised that this was not a full-service restaurant, but that was on me for not doing my research before we came. This is one of many small restaurants surrounding a small outdoor courtyard. There are tables outside shared by all restaurants and a few inside. The seating inside was not very comfortable. You order and pay at the counter and then sit down; they bring your food out to you. Note that if you have many people in your party, the food is brought out as it's ready, and not all at once.The food was delicious. The fried chicken was juicy and tender, and the menu had just enough variety to keep everyone happy. My teenagers loved the chicken and waffles, although they both would have loved an option to get more waffles and half the amount of chicken. Maybe a menu twist that could be offered? The local chicken sandwich was flavorful, and they gave just the right amount of fries--not too many and not too few.We are not huge fans of this type of atmosphere. If we're going to pay that much for a meal, we'd like to be comfortable. If we come back, it will likely be for takeout so that we can enjoy the wonderful food comfortably at home. However, I know there are many people who enjoy this vibe, so I didn't rate down on my overall rating based on the atmosphere.“

“One word describes our evening at Nonno's, magnificent. My friend and I were looking for an Orlando gem and we found the perfect place. The food was deliciously made with love and care. Every bite was so flavorful. We both sat there savoring our food. We began with the bread and pesto. The pesto was so good we even dipped our calamari in it. Our entrees were Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and Lasagna. The flavors were soooo good. You could tell that fresh ingredients were used in the dishes. I cannot say enough how much we loved our food. The owner came to our table several times. He was so warm and welcoming. A perfect compliment to our meal. Definitely put Nonno's on your list.“

We both had Caesar Salads which were delicious with seasoned Bread Crumbs instead of Croutons. I had extra anchovies added and they were wonderful.My friend had the Flatiron Steak Frites and I had the Texas Redfish with Black Lentils. The Redfish was sauteed until crispy and cooked to perfection.My friend had the Key Lime Pie which was very good and I had a Meyers Lemon Pudding. Yum. We were very impressed and very satisfied.P.S. Took a party of six for several family celebrations in one gathering and our server, Kevin, was outstanding, patient, very attentive to the random requests, such a pro and super helpful to work with the wide range of personalities at the table. To my surprise, Chef Tommy Washington personally prepared my dishes, served them to my table with a great smile and charisma, and gladly introduced himself and his company. I can't continue without acknowledging Chef Tommy's wife and business partner, Mrs. Washington, thank you for being his loving helpmate, you were a delight to meet. She is the reason this establishment is in Eatonville, FL. (I love a good First Began (PJ Morton) story). I have so much respect for beautiful power couples who can harmonize to build a family legacy from a place where passion meets purpose and their impact ripples throughout time for generations. Mr. & Mrs. Washington, keep up the Great Work, we need splendid examples such as yourselves in the world, just know your Grandmother is very proud! “In town visiting friends and this was a last minute choice. From the apps to the main corpses, Reel Fish hit the mark. Our server, Nicole, was awesome. She knew the menu and was so engaging with us. “I had given my wife a gift card for Antonio's, so we decided it was time to go and have a nice dinner out. We had been there once before, and we really liked it. I will have to say, first, to anyone who has trouble walking or climbing stairs, getting upstairs could be a challenge. Quite a number of them, and I saw no evidence of an elevator. I made the reservation through Open Table, and we were promptly seated. Our server was pleasant and attentive throughout, despite it being UCF graduation weekend. The Bruschetta was wonderful, and my wife said her Veal Piccata was excellent. I am taking one star off for my dish, the Chicken Parmesan. The issue is that the fish was drowned in red sauce, especially the linguine. I almost always finish a pasta dish, but I could not this time. I will have to indicate light on the sauce in the future. Both of our desserts, the Coconut Cake and the Cannoli were delicious. I will definitely return to Antonio's at some point, but will think more about ordering anything with red sauce in the future.“

“Ok I really hated Carrabba's before. I'd rather go to a local Italian mom and pop over a chain in Philadelphia. But then I moved to Florida. My daughter really likes Carrrabba's and she got to pick the restaurant. I rolled my eyes but ok. Wow, it was pretty good! Really surprising. Half moon cheese ravioli was good. But the blush alfredo was to die for. No really. Awesome. My soup was really good. My sort of breaded and broiled shrimp and scallops was very tasty. Overall we all enjoyed our meal. Service was great. This restaurant is small and clean. I love the open kitchen. I spent my waiting time figuring out what each station was. Ok, so would I go here over one of Orlando's few good Italian places? No. But over most mom and pops in the area? Yeah, probably. So people love chains and Carrabba's is one of the better ones out there.“

For reasons I cannot explain one of our guests was extremely rude to Will on several occasions throughout the night. “Delicious! We booked King Cajun Crawfish for our office event. They arrived and set up in a timely manner with everything they needed to serve a low country boil. We opted for a buffet style, so people could choose the food they wanted. They were kind and professional.Communication was also excellent leading up to the event, and we appreciate their responsiveness. “I cannot recommend Jimmy Hula's highly enough! It's primarily burgers and tacos, but far from your typical burgers and taco place. Everything has sort of an island-y theme, from the decor to the food. For example, my go-to is the luau taco, which has teriyaki chicken and pineapple-mango pico. The flavors are absolutely incredible, and the pineapple-mango pico is so good that I usually get a large side of it to-go afterwards. Not gonna lie, these are my favorite tacos in the world. Everything is pretty much customizable. The tacos are sold as singles, so you can mix and match the type and amount to fit your hunger level and so you can try a variety. You can also choose your protein. The burgers can also be made as either single or double. The atmosphere is super relaxed and casual, as you'd expect with the island theme, and the staff are always really nice. Jimmy Hula was one of my most frequent choices when I lived in central Florida; now, it's one of the places I absolutely have to stop at whenever I'm in town. Do yourself a favor and try Jimmy Hula“

“A not-so-hidden gem of Park Ave! This place is one of my favorites. The food is delicious and so reasonably priced, especially for the area, service is always great, and they have 3 types of seating which is nice (fully outside, outside covered patio, and inside). My go-to has been the stuffed shells for a while, which is the perfect amount for me to feel comfortably full. I added a Caesar salad tonight to start off with something a little lighter. Definitely recommend Pannullo’s!“
