“I have a son that resides in Florida near this Rita’s. Him and I were on a jog during my visit, and nearing the end of our 7 miles run, we run smack into this brand new Rita’s. Not my ideal post run meal, but the place felt so welcoming. So, I listened to my instincts, and went to go grab one of their delicious frozen treats. I ended getting the Italian ice flight, and boy o boy, what a flavorful treat. Had my taste buds dancing like it was our first time listening to careless whisper all over again. I get the vibe they're going for but just turning it down a notch would allow people to actually talk without having to raise their voice to the person right next to them. Our server did turn it down a little bit and that made it way more comfortable to talk but warned us someone would turn it back up. 2 songs later they did & it almost seemed louder. We were 3 people and it was about ~$85 for all of us? We ordered: Mango Peach Tea w/ popping mango boba, 2 strawberry soufflé pancakes and a mango soufflé pancake & 3 fish thingy pepperoni flavored.

It was not so busy if you get there as soon as they open but it goes busier as time passed. The drinks took ~10 mins from when we sat and waited. Then it was about 20-30 mins after to get the pancakes. We didn’t mind the wait since we were there to enjoy but it was definitely a cool experience. The pancakes we loved the most) because it melted in our mouths.“

“Cannot recommend Art Monkey enough! We recently hosted our young daughter’s birthday there and it was the absolute sweetest time! The new owners made planning flawless and everything was set up and ready to go when we arrived. She was so good with the kids and they had a blast. Made her day so special and all the parents kept commenting how they enjoyed it as well (food and wine/beer a major plus!). The kids all got to paint a ceramic followed but a delicious ice cream treat. What a special afternoon ☺️“

I want to commend the wonderful team at the Häagen‑Dazs location in Brandon Mall, especially Gemma, for their outstanding customer service.

“Visited Sweet Missions' booth at the Strawberry Festival! Absolutely amazing!! Loved their Strawberry Crumble cake & cookies, and the berry chicken salad on a croissant was AMAZING (highlight of the festival for me!) I'm so glad they were part of the event. Strawberries were featured in every dish.

I saw another review on here complaining that their brick&mortar cafe was closed a week ahead of time for festival prep, but that's so silly! OF COURSE they have to prepare ahead of time! They are a small family-owned business, and their booth at the strawberry festival has so many items stocked up that I can imagine it took a ton of work to prepare.

I'm not from the area, but because I found out about this place at the festival, I totally intend to visit Plant City and the cafe :) I want more of that chicken salad!!“
