“Seriously and hands down my personal favorite empanada's in Fort Lauderdale!! The crust is perfectly flaky but yet chewy, they dont skimp on the filling and oh my the seasoning in the filling is DELICIOUS. Not to mention their home made Chimichuri sauce to pair with the empanadas too.

It is a little difficult to find, its tucked in the building but when you find it trust me you'll be going back. Parking is complementary at the valet if youre going here!

“We dined at Village Café on Tuesday, March 14th and we had Liz and Angie as our waitresses, and both were very responsive and made several suggestions on the menu and answered all of our questions. I’ve had enough paying $25 for two scrambled eggs on avocado toast. The family and I stumbled into this place (actually had to search for it because it’s in what looked like a closed office building) and we are happy we did. The place is kind of like a time capsule from the decor to the wait staff and the prices.

“We landed early afternoon & headed straight to Café Bastille-Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. I'd heard rave reviews about this spot & it exceeded expectations. We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. I'm already looking forward to our next visit before leaving Florida.“

The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. I only wish they were open for dinner. But then again Debra and the stuff need the time to rest. And we should or at least I should. Take Debra to dinner for having such a wonderful place. After my first visit in, I have been greeted by first name every single time. The breakfast burrito is amazing, the pitas are all so great, the portions are plenty, everything is just great. My only advice, when going for lunch, try to order online because they can get super busy and lunch takes a bit longer to come out, but that is because everyone keeps coming back for more!
