“I adore Fresh Kitchen - the best restaurant I've found in the area to eat a gluten/dairy/meat free dinner that is also low in salt! That's because two of the managers know my restrictions and automatically put together a delicious bowl that I can safely eat (rice, chickpeas, kale, red pepper, almond slices, etc) - and it's delicious! Yesterday, I took my bowl home, added fresh sliced peaches and avocado, enough then to split into two meals. It was awesome.“

“My husband, Al, and I dined at the Chef's Table on Feb 19 2024 and celebrated my birthday. We ordered from the chef's tasting menu and could not have been more pleased. It was one of the best restaurant meals we have had in a very long time. You see I am a classically trained and award-winning chef in my own right so my standards are quite high and I am, more often than not, disappointed in restaurants, even fine dining establishments. Al started with the "Heartbreaker" Cocktail, which was excellent then he had the mushroom and chive crepe torte for an appetizer, exceptional and enough for 2 to share actually so we brought part of it back to the hotel and had it for lunch the next day. He then chose the Duck confit, also outstanding. For dessert he had the chocolate torte with the toasted marshmallow ice cream and caramel sauce, again, beyond delicious and the ice cream was the best thing i've had in my mouth in a long time. Al also did the wine pairing with his courses. I sampled each pairing and they were perfectly matched. I tried the Mr. Pink as an aperitif and loved every drop but the pink peppercorn's stole the show. Then I started with the foie gras. Every bite just brings you to your knees. This was the main reason we selected The Chef's Table to begin with because I had to have foie gras. I chose the filet for my entree and I must say it may have been one of the best filet's i've ever eaten. Cooked perfectly medium rare with a char that was to die for. I brought part of my filet back to the hotel to go with the torte for lunch the next day. Even warmed up it was delicious. For dessert I had the mission fig bread pudding, which had a fantastic texture and was the perfect level of sweetness. I paired the pecan pie martini with it and it was decadent and complimented the dessert perfectly. I did not opt for the wine pairing as a sip of two from Al's were enough for me. Our server, JJ, was attentive, funny, and generous with her time. The manager came by twice to chat with us. The atmosphere was romantic but not stuffy and we had a great view of the kitchen, which as a chef is simply theatre for me. Lastly, the prices were not stupid. This kind of tasting menu can easily run well over $100 pp without the wine pairing. I appreciate the fact that, while affordable, it was elegant and indulgent. “We always enjoy this restaurant. We celebrated a special occasion. The management recognizes celebrations for everyone which we appreciate and is great PR. First, our server Joel was great; he was attentive, personal and answered all our questions which elevated our experience. Our meals consisted of trout, shrimp and grits and butterfish. All three were excellent. The butterfish has an Asian flair to it which I enjoyed. The rest of our meal included a charcuterie board, wine, brussel sprouts & dessert. The charcuterie board & brussel spouts were on the light side so you'll need more than one if you have a party of more than two. We like that the desserts are small individuals and the three we chose were delicious. Next time we'll ask for crackers/bread for the table.“

“all my bartenders were very involved and interacted with my family and I especially Christy and Phil I was very shy and they guided me through the menu without making me feel awkward and or uncomfortable .. giving I was eventually by my self they made me feel comfortable and at home“

“What can I say, I’ve been here quite a few times. Today was my favorite time ever being here actually. I decided to let whatever server I got, choose everything I ate. And Aurora did not disappoint. I asked her about seafood and she told me why the lobster tacos might be the way to go. She talked about flavor balancing between different menu items and tried to explain to me all the showcasing of the different seafood and how it worked for flavor profiles. I asked her about side dishes to go with it. She told me all the standard side dishes and she saw that I was not over excited by any of the offerings and she suggested maybe the premium truffle ranch potatoes might be what I’m looking for. She was not wrong on any of it. Lobster was cooked to perfection and all of the items placed on that taco belong there. She was right the balance was there. I was surprised when I got the fries. I thought it was going to be drenched and something, but it wasn’t. But I tasted the truffle and the ranch and the sauce and the side was perfect next to those crispy fries. I did not want to jinx myself so I had her decide my dessert unknown to her what I was doing. She chose the pistachio bread pudding. Not something I would ever get. It was delicious. I’m not going to lie. My only complaint is it needs more ice cream because it is so decadent and rich. Just get an extra side dish of more ice cream, you’ll thank me. Aurora you are a great server and I hope RusTeak knows it. Thank you for making tonight epic for me. I am stuffed and happy.“

“We really wanted to love it here. The ambience and the service are great but the limited choices for entrees on the menu was disappointing. The cheese on the charcuterie board was so hard that we were unable to cut even with a knife and we did not care for the rainbow trout. The salmon and steak were good and the wine list is extensive but still they were out of my first choice of wine which was a moscato. In all it is a good place for wine and apps but not in my top ten for dinner.“

“Arguably the best food in the park for the price & taste. We ate here 3 times in the 6 days we spent at Universal Studios and it was the only food stand we visited more than once. The tots are tasty and a decent portion. Our whole family loved the buffalo chicken - it managed to have the buffalo flavor without being overly spicy. I really enjoyed the carnitas tots as well - the pork was juicy and the cheese sauce was tasty.

Aside from the food the service is slow and it seems like there is no rhyme or reason as to when orders come out. Also if you or someone else in line orders 3 or more items be prepared to wait and have people who ordered after you get their food first. There is plenty of outdoor seating but depending on the time of day not much shade from the FL sun.

Overall this is a decent pick for lunch or a snack in a park with underwhelming food options.“

I stay at this hotel every time I go down to Orlando and it is very convenient to book for your next day flight. The restaurants are great. The staff is amazing. The balcony view is unmatched. It is a little more expensive to stay here compared to your average hotel, but you won’t regret picking this Hotel over every other one out there. Spend the cash and stay here. It’s worth it.“

“Backwater Bar is co-located with Confisco restraunt. This is a great place to walk in and get you H2O water or you favorite adult beverage. It is a full service walk up bar with lots of beer, wine, and they can make the liquor drink of your choice. There is no seating inside, but they have shaded seating just outside the door. The staff is friendly and want you to have a nice experience.“

“Bula Bar seemed like a good place to enjoy the pool, watch sports and take a cold drink. On the other hand, the food is not recommended, at high prices and not so good in taste. Regarding service, my waitress was nice but she completely forgot my pizza order and when I ordered something different the food didn't take long but it wasn't what I ordered. The passion fruit smoothie was good and the Piña Colada was one of the best I've ever had.

“We had a wonderful experience at Confisco Grille. The Ahi Tuna Taco was absolutely delicious and truly unique—the tuna was perfectly seared, well-seasoned, and had just the right kick of heat from the jalapeño. It was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced.

For drinks, we tried the Blackberry Margarita and the Confisco Margarita, and both were excellent. They were very flavorful without being overly sweet, which we really appreciated. Overall, great food and well-crafted drinks—we would definitely come back again.“

The only gripe I have ever had applies to many restaurants: just because the order was made online, don’t universally assume it should be packaged for carry out. “Surprisingly exquisite food despite the bad reviews. Enjoyed the noodle tonkotsu broth was nice, the pork pretzel burger was fantastic and great mix with swiss roll and coffee.
The only downvote was they forgot/mishandled my coffee so i jad to ask multiple times, but the staff helped me out so thank you. Not busy, great price, great food and problem solving, definitely will come back“

Love the entrance however prefer a more traditional “bar” vs the community tables.. makes it difficult for more than two people to talk comfortably... speaking of which dining chairs are terrible uncomfortable! Overall the food and service made up for the short comings mentioned.“

It was practically 1 stop shopping because Andrea Serrano took care of the catering/food restrictions, bar-tending, tables, linens, and chairs. I had been planning this event for a year and Andrea stayed in contact and answered any and all questions I had. All of my guests had an incredible time and I would recommend them to anyone hosting an event.“

“This is not your average theme park restaurant! We were at Universal for our 40th wedding anniversary and had our anniversary dinner at Mythos. The restaurant is beautiful. We had a very nice table for two by the window and our server, Kailyn, was perfect, very attentive and personable. We shared the spanakopita dip for starters. My husband had the beef tenderloins and I had the pan roasted salmon. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious and we cleaned our plates. When we mentioned to Kailyn that it was our 40th anniversary, she came back to say that the restaurant was comping our desserts. I had the creme brulee and my husband had banana bread pudding. My dessert came on a tray with two lit candles, a blue and a pink one, and 'congrats" in writing in chocolate. Never once did we feel rushed even though the restaurant was very busy. We have traveled a lot both in the States and abroad and this meal was one of the best we've ever had--an outstanding dining experience in every way.“
