“My husband and our son, just got back from eating at the Carrollton, Ga Store. We love this store, first of all the people Brandon, Liz our waitress was awesome! We have been eating here for a long time. The Service and the food is excellent! I just felt like doing a big Thank you for your constant Great food and service. “First time at longhorns, (I know), I was brought here by seeing that Mac and cheese on TikTok! Wanted to try and a good steak. Well needless to say it was worth the hype, some people say they don’t like the Mac and cheese, I say it’s really good! The breadcrumbs and bacon DO MAKE it better! I wanted a steak that was juicy and not too small( I have it medium rare), so I got the Flos filet,( 9 oz) and it was Perfect size ! ( I was scared it might be too small) but no it was perfect ! Very tender and perfect medium rare. The bread was good too with the butter ! Our server was very helpful and nice as well. I would rate this an 8/10! Would come back. Thank you longhorns for this experience! And fellow people scrolling through the reviews wondering if you should eat here, DO IT!“

“Whether you're looking for a nice lunch spot or are planning a big gathering, this place can help. The hams are always awesome quality, the smoked turkey breast is great even for someone who might not be a fan of turkey. This is definitely where you want to get your main dishes from for holidays, but it's also a great place to grab a sandwich during lunch or to take home. Their honey mustard is so good, it's sweet with a little kick in it. 🤌🏽“

“It's been years since I've had Big chic & I'm so glad I was able to stop by during a college visit! The chicken & fries were crispy & fresh. The jalapeño was crunchy. The biscuit was the perfect amount of salty & flavorful. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. Wish we had one closer! I see mixed reviews, happy I was able to catch them on a good day“

“Been a long time since I've eaten at any Shakes. Food was good, service was good. Was near 9pm. The floors were very slick due to high humidity. Not sure if ac or dehumidification was operating at the time. Quite dangerous for customers. The entire floor in the entire restaurant. Well, for customer side that I'm aware of. Get that looked at ASAP!!!“

“I work for a memory care unit in Carrollton and we are doing a bucket list for the year and part of our bucket list was to have restaurant visits so we do a lunch bunch every single month for our memory care where we have food brought in this month was Captain D's by the request of several residents the service the food the professionalism was all top tier they even helped me to load the plates into the car and they were also very kind and very suites customer service I give a 10 out of 10 they are amazing!!!“

“I had the most wonderful Salisbury steak there November 3rd. I ask who the cook was, the waitress (189 Christil) told me his name was Sammy. I told her the manager needs to keep him and give him a raise. Food was EXCELLENT.“

“Some of the best country cooking that I’ve eaten! Service was cheerful and atmosphere was comfortable. The squash casserole and collard greens rivaled the recipes of my granny. Fried chicken livers were amazing! I highly recommend and will return to this gem of country cooking.“
