“My husband and I came here for the first time on New Year’s Eve. Parking was easy and from the moment we walked in we were greeted. We were seated immediately at a nice table and were given time to soak in the atmosphere and look over the menu. I ordered the Rockefeller oysters and a Long Island, both were delicious and did not disappoint! My husband had a jack and coke. For our entree I had the salmon sliders( which were recommended by our waitress) they were filling and oh sooo good! My husband had wings and truffle fries which were nice and crispy. “We visited this restaurant at the invitation of one of the customers of SWC Contracting, We were not let down. The food was made with a tasty southern flair and each dish had my taste buds wondering what could be better than the last bite. We arrived about 6:30pm it was a little busy but not crowded and we were seated straight away by our waitress Tabitha, Her personality was bubbly and refreshing. We had our drinks and first dishes out within 7 minutes of our order. I can't say enough about the service, Tabitha if you read this,.. Just WoW!!! The food really is SECOND to NONE. When we want homecoming we usually visit a larger chain but after today this place has won my business for southern cooking and it is cooked at its finest.. I hope you all visit this place and have the experience we had,.. and I would ask for Tabitha if I was you.. P.S. Bring your appetite..“

“Super yummy. Food to rave about. So so good. I got the bottomless coffee. I was in the mood for pancakes with fruit and the photos looked good on google. I got the pancakes with bananas and pecans. The syrup was hot and everything just melted in my mouth. I also ordered the shrimp and grits as it is a southern specialty. I wasn't super impressed with the dish in the past at other restaurants, but the photos looked promising. Bluebird's shrimp and grits with cheese was savory, with slightly sweet shrimp, great texture, and I loved the dish. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all but still wanted the experience and to try it and took the extra to go. The decor was eclectic and whimsical. I loved the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend supporting this business or bring friends here. You can't get food made like this in a chain. Glad I chose to stop here today. There is a 20% tip added to the bill so expect that when you go. I normally tip at least 20% anyway and tipped more this time.“

“I ordered Flying Biscuit catering for an event I had for my interns and when I tell you blown away! The communication and timeliness of the staff. The lady (I'm mad I didn't get her name) she was so sweet. I told her I could set up and she said nope she's got it. They came prepared with everything! I ordered stuff and I didn't even need it because the came with plates, utensils, water, etc they were truly amazing! Will continue to use Flying Biscuit!“

“I visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening and the restaurant had a brisk clientele. The waitress came to our table immediately and asked for our drink orders and brought them back very quickly. I ordered the above items and in less than 15minutes i had my order and it was hot and seasoned to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a quick wholesome meal, with all taste you remember from growing up.“

“Where to start? What a delightful evening and meal. The waiter, to start with, was amazingly attentive and kept up with us the entire evening. Also the owner came over and filled us in on the recent history. Liquor license is in now but I don't drink so that was not important. Let me segue to the food. OMG, the mushroom and goat cheese fondue with tomato jam was to die for. It was served in a cast iron skillet with plenty of toast. The sauce was so rich and creamy. To keep this under an hour and a half reading let me say my bride's steak was perfect along with the brussel sprouts and kale. Let me tell you about the pork chop. I like my pork chops to be medium rare if possible and it was perfectly pink inside. I try my best to get that look and I always overcome them. The sweet potato puree asking with the brussel sprouts was outstanding. The portions were very generous and couldn't ask anything better for a Monday night meal. OK, then there was the bread pudding. Oh, Lord, when I tasted the whiskey I almost fell in the floor. So, let me say to the people who has a bad time at the restaurant that they are hitting on all cylinders. I can understand a Karen or two that have nothing better to do than be haters, especially after the opening of the restaurants after COVID. I get it. Why not try to come back and give it another chance. They deserve it and you could use a good meal to chill out.“
