“African Grill Duluth has become my go to spot whenever I don’t feel like cooking our I’m craving someone else’s food. I have tried the amala w/ewedu, jollof rice, ogbonno, beans and plantain - everything was a hit. I have only done delivery but any time I have called asking question about the menu the host has always been polite and patient. The food is consistent which is really hard for African restaurant. I haven’t been there in person so I can’t comment on the atmosphere but the food is great.“

“Omg! Every time I’m here I love it more! Absolutely the BEST food, service, people. It’s all 10 stars! I used Suthern Cluck to cater a meal for 48 people (my son’s theater group) and it was raved about for weeks! They are the best at all they do and they do it with a superior execution! “Very impressed with this place! From the moment we walked in, everyone was very welcoming. My biggest thing is TVs when I’m going somewhere to watch sports, and they definitely didn’t lack on that. They have a 100+ inch TV at one of the two bars, which is perfect for watching games.

A bar like this with liquor, good food, and a great setup for sporting events or just hanging out is definitely a good time. The bartenders/waitresses, Jamir and Jessica, were very welcoming and helpful with the menu.

We made it in about 5 minutes before happy hour was over, and they took care of us on the drinks, which I definitely appreciated. The food came out way faster than expected. I thought it was going to take longer, but everything came out right on time.

Food was an 8/10 overall. Nothing was overly seasoned, iykyk what I’m talking about 😂.

I also got the chance to speak with the owner, Marie, and she was very cool. Had a great conversation with her, and one thing I can definitely say is she LOVES and trusts her staff. Believe me, you can tell.

I’ll most likely become a regular here. Definitely found a new spot to hang out, watch games, and grab some good food and drinks. 🍻🏀📺

When unexpected changes happened on our end, you had no problem with changing the wedding date mid-stream. “The empanadas are very good and the default sauce is pretty good. They used to be overpriced, but prices have adjusted down some which is good to see. Combos do not come with drinks. We only got two sauces with 3 3 piece empanada trios which I'm assuming was just overlooked, but I do know they want to charge if you ask for extra sauces. The chicken itself is expensive for what it is and I probably won't give it a chance. I just can't justify paying the price to try it when good chicken is available all over the place nearby. Service was slow we waited outside for at least 20 minutes for our food.“

“I am so glad I found this gem!! I just moved to Atlanta from Boston (where there’s Haitian food everywhere) so I was little bummed out that there aren’t really Haitian spots out here. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“
