“I got the Bahn Mi chicken wrap with grilled chicken and my daughter got the chicken pita which was a special … I don’t think it’s on the menu. Our server was attentive and kept my sweet tea refilled. The food was excellent. Everything was good and we love their French fries.“

“This is absolutely my favorite place in Perimeter Mall. Food is always delicious, hot and fresh. I typically get jalapeno chicken or shrimp mixed with charbroiled chicken to cut the heat from the jalapenos. Paired with sweet potatoes and the mixed zucchini, cabbage, green bean offering and it never disappoints! The jalapeno juice mixes with the sweet potato juice and it's fire! The meat is always juicy, well seasoned - hot, and tasty. I love the simple flavor of the sweet potatoes, just potatoes, sugar and a little cinnamon. The veggie mix is better than any of the individual veggies I've tried here. Tender, flavorful and never over salted. I found what I like from this place and I don't typically switch it up but I have in the past tried some of their other offerings, such as the lo mein noodles, broccoli , green beans, and Mac and cheese. All were good but nothing like my usual. If this weren't so far I'd eat here a few times a week.“

“While one of many entrants in the hipster taco place pantheon the Velvet Taco has truly put together some interesting taco flavors and combinations. From meat, to fish, to chicken they were all tasty, unique and fresh. Service was exceptionally pleasant and the menu, overall, is constructed in an easy and user friendly way. Getting in and out isn't bad either. So, if you need a taco fix, definitely consider trying The Velvet Taco. You won't be disappointed.“

The duck confit was perfectly cooked, the lobster was phenomenal, and the sausage was amazeballs- I could eat that for consecutive dinners in a row for weeks.“

“We had a staff dinner and experienced VV’s cooking class. Rina Moreno was our chef providing guidance on the meal’s preparation and techniques to use in the kitchen. A gun experience, wonderful meal and Ms Moreno was a delightful host and guide. Recommend and we will return.“

“5Church was a beautiful location and the food was great. Service overall had room for improvement. Our waiter was very slow in servicing us, and I believe his shift ended, or his break started, in the middle of our dining. We had to wait a long time for someone else to wrap us up.

We also had a strange experience with valet. We pulled into valet around 2:45-2:50. Before we ordered our food, the valet came in said his shift was ending, and gave us our keys. He seemed to expect a tip and I gave him a small one, but I was miffed by that. To top it off, our car was unlocked the entire time.

Overall, I would go back again while in the area, but I hope for better service all around.“

Jennifer, one of the managers has built an amazing relationship with my spouse and I. Her attention to detail is second to none. A few items that should land on your bucket list to try include: •I Love Lychee Martini: the best in ATL •Not So French •Love Potion •Fresh Baked focaccia bread served with balsamic vinegar and oils •SQUASH CAPPELLETTI ♥️ Everything on the menu was delicious including the custom Lychee Bon Bon’s that the pastry chef prepared for us in advance because I love Lychee so much. Jennifer scored us a show stopping VIP booth to the DJ. Her knowledge of the lounge and the Michelin Star restaurant “Atlas” next door was impeccable. Please don’t sleep on this lounge and get there as soon as you can.“

“Second time my husband and I have come here for their Taco Tuesday deal! The three tacos I got were perfect! And you can’t beat $3 chips and salsa. It also happened to be kids night so they had Zootopia playing and tbh, it was cute and we didn’t mind it! They also had multiple screens on with the news and football - so something for everyone! We will definitely be back for another night (possibly trivia night or live music night!!)“

“I have to say the burger was delicious. Amole and juicy beef and very well presented on a tasty bun with really good fries. The bar tender was really nice and the service we great. There are a lot of pretty nasty reviews so I guess people are expecting some fancy restaurant. For sure it’s not a proper dining room but it’s very convenient and good. The prices on the glass of wine is a bit absurd but overall I was quite pleased with my meal.“
