My husband and I never got a chance to need anything, this server had our bread in his hand when he got our drink order and he stayed ahead of us through our whole dinner. “My family and friends went to Ruby Tuesday Sunday night before a Christmas play our Children were in. We just put in the order and the power went out so unfortunately we were unable to wait, but they filled the drink order with no charge. They were so nice during this trying time we decided to come back afterwards, and I was really glad we did. Our server was sweet got our drinks and food out quickly, she did forget the silver ware but we were able to get that for her. She kept our drinks filled and all our crazy requests filled with a smile on her face the whole time. The food itself was really good. The only complaint there was the coconut shrimp was a little bit over cooked but everything else was absolutely wonderful. The dessert were to cry for. I will definitely go back again. I was told about the app and the different specials you could get by using it, and the order ahead for pickup so I think this will become one of my favorites 😄

Kid-friendliness: Our grandson was still excited from his play and a little rowdy but because it was a little late no one minded so he was able to laugh and enjoy his food and family time.“

“I always recommend Pooles Bar B Que, for the food and service. My guests enjoy as well. You cannot find better brisket especially. If you dine in, most likely have to get to go boxes, because portion’s are generous. Last month I came as they closing and the employees let me order to go. Well I left my debit card in the card reader but did not know until my next stop. I was upset because I wasn’t 💯 percent sure where my card was. I called and left a message and the next morning decided to go by because I was on my way out of town. I didn’t receive a call back and no one was coming to the door because they had not opened yet. So after waiting decided to go around the back to see if anyone might be there, and they were just loading or unloading and didn’t hear me knocking. Anyway they had my card and told me I didn’t have any worries because all the staff were honest and glad they could help me, I was embarrassed about being so careless. So there are so many reasons this special restaurant in Ellijay is one of my favorite places to get a really great meal. I’ve feel like if you weren’t happy with something you ordered they will accommodate you. Try it for yourself, take someone with you!! 🤩😋“

“Great value! I had a bacon cheeseburger all the way. The patty was fresh (never frozen), flavorful, and juicy. The toppings were fresh and the bun was delicious. The crinkle fries were cooked just right too! My husband got the butterfinger shake and cheese steak sandwich and both were amazing! You'll pay more at McDonald's for a far inferior experience. The customer service was excellent. I look forward to coming back again soon.“

“We’re out of towners in Ellijay to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We almost ate someplace else because of some negative reviews about having to wait so long to get their food. We were seated immediately and our orders taken within 5 minutes. We had our food in 15-20 minutes. We’re glad we ignored the bad reviews and took a chance. Good food and plenty of it.“

“There are 4 of us that travel together and we are always trying different restaurants. This is the first time all of us were extremely pleased with our food. My burger was the best I've ever had! I tried tasting just the meat, and omg I could have ate just the patty by itself it was so flavorful and juicy!“

“Somewhat of a hole on the wall. Located in an old strip mall. Seems popular with the older locals. Wife praised the hamburger & onion rings. Mother-in-law liked her ground sirloin. I had no complaints with the fried chicken, turnip greens, & green beans. Would not order the mac & cheese again - tasted like a knockoff of Kraft mac & cheese, but not as good. Overall, we'll go back.“

“I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to try the Cajun Depot Grill. The food was so fresh, so hot, and so delicious. Service was excellent. Prices were comparable to The Roof, Butcher and Bottle, and other non-chain restaurants in Ellijay. We will be returning often.“
