“This place is truly a Timeless Treat! Great service and the food is delicious! If you want a home cooked meal definitely stop by here. I LOVE the cornbread, super moist. The peach cobbler is always delicious. Second time eating here and the food tastes even more delicious than the first. I love the baked chicken. Very sizable portions too. This food is definitely prepared with love. 10/10! Highly recommend. Also, just tried the ginger hibiscus cupcake and let me telll you "AHHHHHHMAZINGGGGGG". The moistness. The flavor! Woooh. “First time and I must say it was a hit. Although we had to sit at the bar because it was prior reservations at table that’s been empty the entire time. However when the food came out it came out! Fresh flavored to a tea. 9 9 9. My friend has the salmon and Lydell who served us at the bar was one point with the drinks service the details. All the reasons why I will be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!“

“Absolutely 5 stars. The best soul food/home cooked meal I’ve had since moving to Georgia. The customer service was excellent as well. Very friendly staff. Food was looking so good I had to stay and eat on the inside! The portions were also plentiful. I will definitely be returning. Can’t wait to try out the rest of the menu! “My third time back and this place is always a go to when I come to Atlanta. Everything I've ever had here is great. The ox tail & fried catfish is absolutely phenomenal. You have to try both. The sides here are endless and all an A+. Our favorites were the collard greens & candied yams. The service is so vibrant and kind. The whole experience is wonderful and the customers and staff made it all the more special. Eating in is a must as the place is charming. End your dinner any of the three cobblers. They are incredible!“

“The service was excellent, friendly staff, and food is great . First time visiting family in Atlanta and was looking for southern food this was the first place that popped up that was near. I purchased the lunch special Meatloaf, Mac n cheese, and greens. The flavor in everything is good . Also tried the famous lemonade that comes in a variety of flavors to choose from. Sweet and good. If anyone hasn't traveled to Atl yet, I definitely recommend trying out Big Daddys Kitchen. Good is great“

“Absolutely amazing! Great customer service and food was superb! We got the rib plate, chicken plate, and salmon plate. Sides on point, too. This will place will not disappoint and has definitely been added to our list to bring the fam!Kid-friendliness: Kid meals are perfect. My toddler had the chicken plate and my 7 year old said the rib plate was excellent. Finger licking lol! And they were both dancing while eating!“

“Wow! This was my first time and what an amazing experience! I was greeted from the door opening and shown all the food choices before I decided to use the kiosk. I sampled my fish, cabbage, fresh green beans, sweet potato mash, cornbread and Arnold Palmer. Listen Linda!!!! Chef Papa Lou you did that! Everything was seasoned well & not overdone. I’ll be back! “I visit this restaurant often. Last Sunday a gentleman got sick and fell on the floor. Not sure if he was having a seizure or another kind of medical emergency. A customer yelled for her to call him ambulance ? and she made a very rude comment. She told the lady all yall people standing in line. One of yall call, It was very uncaring and nasty how she said it. At this point it was what she said and how she said it.“

“Parking: Since the restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, there is plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Although, I sat outside, as I passed through I did see children in the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for a wheelchair, walker, and a ROLLATOR, which I was using!“

“This place is perfect! You order at the window, you can see everything that's ready for the day already. Look through the glass and you'll see everything! I was able to get breakfast and dinner for the day. You can call and order ahead but you may still have a little wait. I was standing in line and ordered my food and it took about 10 minutes or so for me to get it by the time I was done getting my food there were five people waiting on the block as well. This place is in a strip mall with other stores. For breakfast, I opted for pork chop with cheese, eggs and grits, and it came with a biscuit. The plate came with salt and pepper and jelly on the side and everything was delicious. I also opted for a cup of Kool-Aid for dinner later I decided to get a plate I saw made in front of me by the previous girl , I got oxtails with mac & cheese and collard greens and came with cornbread as well. The dinner plate had my car smelling good all day. I will definitely be back here when I'm in the area and I will try something different but it is to go only an average pricing. She does not take any type of cards, but you are able to use cash, cash app, and Zelle.“

“First time going and it was a nice experience. Cashier was very friendly and recommended a chicken & rib combo so that I could try several things. I got Mac & Cheese and collard greens as the sides. The food was very good however, only constructive feedback is that they should put let sauce on the items. My plate was drowned in sauce as you can see in my picture listed. Wait time was very quick. Will definitely go back!“
