“Quiet dining, but it was late and not crowded inside. Friendly waitress and very attentive. Service was fast and food was tasty. Have not stopped here in years until the other night. The neon Carey Hillard’s sign outside is in need of repair, several lights burnt out. Pleasant experience, worth the drive.Parking: Parking is tight, especially for drive-in spot next to building. Not made for large vehicles, cars, or large pickups. Not well lite, Although great place to take your date if you’re on a tight budget compared to other restaurant prices.“

“Really creamy ice cream. We had the peanut butter chippy and it was amazing. We may order some to be delivered to our home since we don't live nearby. The lines can be long here, but it's worth it. Little hint, you can find some of their ice cream at local hotels, so if you're staying at a hotel nearby, you might be able to get some of this delicious treat at your hotel freezer.“

“My husband had a weekend getaway. I found B Matthew in the Savannah Insiders Guide under the best place for brunch. We started with Fried Green Tomatoes with goat cheese and remoulade sauce Delicious. Then I had the Bay Street Scramble with homemade biscuit. Brett had the lumberjack omelet. All was fresh, hot and served very quickly. We really enjoyed it. Definitely must“

“Small restaurant but a Great Location for a delicious bite to eat. I had the fried fish and shrimp with the cajun fries and my husband had the fish tacos. It was all delicious with the shrimp being my absolute favorite. Awesome flavor and spice.“

“Crazy busy Friday night! You show your ID and give your credit card upon entry. They swipe it and return it to you. This was a new concept to me. When you order food from the different eateries or grab a beverage you give your name. At the end of the night you close out. Pretty cool. No band though. Overall a fun night was had.“

“Zunzibar is our go-to when meeting up with friends for a casual day out. Also family friendly and very dog friendly with their huge patio! Love that they have healthy options on their menu (bowls/salads) for when we feel like we want something lighter. Drinks are amazing- can't go wrong with any of their frozen drinks or margs.“

“My fella and I visited Ardsley Station the other night and our experience was the best we’ve had in quite some time in Savannah. Our server Cameron was super knowledgeable on cocktails, daily specials, the menu, and ingredients (I have an allergy). He gave us tons of history on the business, the owner, and the building, truly a great experience before the cocktails and food even hit the table. We both had the Blood Orange Margaritas which were fantastic, the crab cake for a starter, he had the Manhattan filet special and I had the bolognese, and the ice cream sandwich for dessert- all top tier, to the point that we both raved about it all days later. Overall a wonderful experience, not just a meal. Can not recommend enough. 5/5 stars.“
“Stopped by at about 3 pm on a beautiful Tuesday in February ... They seem to be in the middle of heavy renovations. Still got a great vibe from the place.Ordered the crumble sour beer. A fantastic beer with tons of fresh fruit flavor and refreshing any time of year. Can tell they care a lot about sour beer quality products. And price is right. 7 for a 10 oz at 7%.Little burger food truck trailer called crispi smells incredible... Didn't order any food on this trip but will absolutely give a smash burger a try next time. Also looking forward to the new taproom when renovations complete. The square footage is not a ton to work with but they look to be maximizing it and integrating float coffee company in the same space.Exciting things in savannah... Getting excited for this community. Love from Ohio... Also their merch looks pretty dope.“

“"Shuk is a true hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Savannah's more frequented dining spots. While its location may require a bit of navigation and patience to find parking, the absence of paid parking fees only adds to the allure of this culinary haven. As we stepped into Shuk, we were immediately struck by the luxurious ambiance that enveloped us, transporting us to a world of Mediterranean elegance and charm. Our journey to Shuk was prompted by a friend's recommendation, and from the moment we walked through the door, we knew we were in for a treat. The attentive staff welcomed us warmly, guiding us through the menu with expertise and enthusiasm. The restaurant's decor exuded sophistication, with plush furnishings and subtle lighting creating an inviting atmosphere that begged us to linger. Our meal began with the whipped feta, a divine creation that left us speechless with its creamy richness and subtle tang. For our main courses, I opted for the pita bread with falafel protein, while my wife chose the bowl with her choice of protein or falafel. Each dish was a work of art, meticulously prepared and bursting with vibrant flavors that danced on our palates. To complement our meal, we couldn't resist trying the harissa chili paste sauce on the side. The intense heat of the harissa was perfectly balanced by its deep, smoky undertones, adding a bold kick to our already delicious dishes. It quickly became clear that no visit to Shuk would be complete without sampling this tantalizing condiment. As we savored each bite and soaked in the luxurious ambiance, it became evident why Shuk is a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates Mediterranean cuisine done right. Despite its secluded location, the journey to Shuk is well worth the effort, offering an unforgettable dining experience that lingers in the memory long after the last bite has been savored. We left Shuk feeling nourished, satisfied, and eager to return for another taste of its exquisite offerings."“

“Place your order and take a seat at the cafe and sandwich shop. Nice little stop along the strip for a light lunch. This place wasn't originally on my list, but I got hungry and this place had good enough reviews for a quick bite. I was pleased with food and friendly service. Ordering a half sandwich and pasta salad. The couple next to me was eating a eye catching bacon egg and cheese. I had to go back the next day to get one. It was so good! The bread was chewy and soft. The cheese perfectly melted atop a runny fried egg.Breakfast or lunch you'll be happy.“

“Meals and service were quick. Fries green tomatoes and horseradish sauce was really good. Flounder was good because it was not a lot of breading. Red rice was also very tasty. Chili was good but dog was over cooked. Server was great and service was fast.“
“My wife and I went here this evening, and this place is so great! The beers are delicious(we got the Compass Rose ipa and the Señor Delicioso Mexican lager, both delicious!). The service was great, and the fact that its veteran owned was just the icing on the cake! We will be back and recommend Service Brewing Company to any and everyone reading this! We also saw a sign that says they’re dog friendly, so next time we come back we’re definitely bringing the dogs! ???“

“Such an amazing experience dining at the Collin’s Quarter! I sat outdoor and it was great to just enjoy the park scene.Crab Cake Benny was delicious, crispy big crab cakes sandwiched by flaky biscuit on the bottom and runny poached egg on top, this might be one of the best I’ve had.Chicken & Waffles is a must get! The chicken is slightly dry, but the hot syrup adds moisture and heat to it. The Belgium waffle has the perfect consistency with bits of pearl sugar that you can crunch through.Taro latte is the perfect sweetness, has a mild taro taste that compliments the aromatic coffee flavor.Definitely a place I would revisit!“

“When in town I always stop here. Just a good old hole-in-the-wall type of place. Bartenders are always nice and outstanding. Beer is cheap and the locals are always friendly. You have to stop at this place if you want to get a drink. Just know it’s CASH ONLY but they do have an ATM onboard so don’t worry too much. They do get a little annoyed when you try to pay card but they literally have signs everywhere that says so.“

“Parking is a chore, Clary’s is popular, busy and in the heart of Savannah. The food was excellent. I couldn’t help but think of the scenes from “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” and wonder if the ghost of Kevin Spacey’s career was haunting the restaurant.“

“I’m sure this was just a weird interaction or something. Everything was great but when we went up to the counter we just were stared at, no greeting, and then the guy yawned in my face when I started ordering. I wasn’t getting the friendly vibe all the other comments have said. Coffee was good though and like I said it could have been an off day.“

“Fantastic food selection. Clean tidy place. Packed with lots of locals and travelers and we understand why. Atmosphere mostly just due to layout in light of the crowd and watched many women just use the men's room due to wait so suggest y'all just go for gender neutral on those now!Appetizer (fried green tomatoes) arrived only 2 minutes before the meals (shrimp and grits plus corned beef hash and eggs). Was a busy brunch time.... Honestly can't wait to go back again one day cause the food was outstanding“

“Interesting, a bit easy to find as a speakeasy. Advertising all along Broughton. The drinks were great and the place is so spacious, and delicately lit on the inside. Came with a large group and we were sat very quickly. The bouncer is also really nice which is a pleasant surprise in Savannah.“

“Food was wonderful and the service perfect. The standouts were the brisket, fried shrimp and oysters, brussel sprouts, Cole slaw, gumbo and crab stew. So, basically everything we ordered! I actually ordered the slaw but once my husband tasted it and liked it so much he took it from me.Also shout out to Jamal our waiter. Great recommendations from him.“

“I’ve heard great things about the Porch. It’s a cute place. Coffee is a 3/5 to me. I got the philosophers cup, half sweet. I think I would have enjoyed it more with a little less milk or an extra shot because the coffee flavor wasn’t coming through. Espresso muffin was good. Atmosphere is a 5/5 as well as staff 5/5. They were patient and personable.“

“Wonderful food and service. Shrimp and grits were delicious. The scallops cooked to perfection. The onion soup was great. The Cesar salad was great although the biscuit croutons were a bit of a miss and Parmesan cheese was bit hard and not fresh. Our table was a bit small for 5 and the room a bit loud. However, overall it was a great place.“

“During our holiday in Savannah a while back, we visited a coffee shop that was recommended to us by a friend. We were impressed with the quality of coffee and zucchini bread offered at this establishment, which were very tasty. The courtyard seating area provided a relaxing ambiance, where we enjoyed catching up with friends. We plan to return to this coffee shop in the future, as we would like to try their Tex-Mex dishes, which we heard are also very good.“

“Super happy we decided to stop by this place for some poke. Staff were nice, prices were fair, especially considering the ingredients are clearly high quality. Flavors were super on point, fantastically well made poke. When you know good rice and shrimp, you immediately notice when they’re being used, and this was the case. Nice few terrace tables outside, especially to dine out in the evening hours. Would definitely come back!“

“This place is a great low key spot for good drinks and food. The empanadas are crispy and stuffed full of meat and the mojitos are made fresh. I mean you literally watch them muddle the mint with lime. And the top it off with a piece of sugar cane. The music makes you long for a sandy beach and the sun on your skin. I felt like I was transported home to Puerto Rico. This is definitely a bit of a hole in the wall but the inside is much bigger than it appears. As you enter you see the bar and are greeted by the staff. I love how friendly everyone is and hearing the favorites of others. If you're a lover of authentic mojitos this is your spot!“

“The atmosphere is very dark and sexy located at the bottom of the Alida Hotel. The service was friendly, but sometimes could lack attention. But the food quality surpasses everything, and it is definitely worth a visit. The prices are not that high you would spend just as much money as going to a P.F. Chang's or a Cheesecake Factory. This was a little bit too salty for me but for the appetizer we got CRISPY CALAMARI BANANA PEPPERS, CALABRIAN CHILIS, PARSLEY, CILANTRO, ROSEMARY AIOLI. My main entree was the best burger I have ever had. It was the first time I could eat a burger without it sliding off the bun. From the bun to the sauce to the cheese and pickles everything was perfection. RHETT SMASH BURGER TWO BEEF PATTIES, AMERICAN CHEESE, RED ONION, PICKLES, NORFOLK SAUCE, OLD BAY FRIES. And dessert was just okay for me to much cream not enough banana. BANANA PUDDING WAFERS, VANILLA PUDDING, CREAM“

What. A. Perfect. Day. Chunks of barbque brisket on a cornbread bun. Heaven. Also got (always to go because there will be leftovers Yay!!) the jerk chicken kabobs with a creamy sauce on them and also on the side with shredded lettuce. Had some heat, but the best kind. Had to share at home, of course. A+ grade on both, Chef Nikki. Keep 'em coming. Best way to snag some of the specials. Go to Finches in Thunderbolt often! XO It's my fav therapy on so many levels.A year later and had to add an update: I could eat Chef Miles kale soup with potatoes, beans and sausage every day for lunch!! Don't knock it if you haven't tried it, kale haters. Sooo good and makes me feel healthy after. Going for 3 days in a row on this Thursday.Just scored another couple of sandwiches from my fav place to eat for the past year plus. Staff always so friendly and helpful. Love the options of sitting in a well ventilated indoor space or the wonderful spacious and fun outdoors. That Bay of Pigs sandwich is sooo good!! Thanks, Chef Miles : ) And lo siento to Jesse Blanco, but you gotta try this blast off take on what I would call a Cuban sandwich. “Located on the top of the Perry Lane Hotel, this rooftop bar offers a great view of Savannah with great cocktails and food. The dadinho was a great revision of the traditional Brazilian dish. I practically licked the plate clean of the truffled honey aioli. The "Adelaide" cocktail was refreshing and light. This is definitely a spot that's enjoyed by not only guests, but locals as well. While the view, atmosphere, food and cocktails were great... It's an interesting service experience. You check-in with a hostess to be seated at the bar, tables, or seating areas but have to walk to the bar to be serviced. That's my only complaint.“
“Wide variety of restaurants, bars, and stores. Has a park to relax and enjoy the scenery and different people. Visited by a lot college kids looking to unwind and be like college kids. Also a good place to meet up with people since its popular and well-known.
