“My husband planned a surprise anniversary date and took us to La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant for our first visit—and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We sat at the bar, where our servers, Alan and Jessnia, were absolutely awesome. Despite the restaurant being packed, the wait time was short, and both servers were incredibly attentive. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and prices were very reasonable. The service was excellent, and the warm, inviting atmosphere made the evening even more special. I’m not a drinker so I have water. $13.49 Here were it went down for me, I paid with a card so the bartender D decided to tip himself $11.51 totally unprofessional. My two friends paid cash. “Many items on the menu are vegetarian and clearly state make it Vegan Style. I had the Firecracker Tofu which had a nice medium spice level. If actually biting into the chilies in the dish most were mild but with one or two of them being surprisingly spicy (which is a Hallmark of several varieties of chilies). I also had the Veggie Noodles Vegan Style and it was a delightful udon noodles with a lot of veggies particularly carrots matchsticks. They have several noodles based dishes with different varieties of noodles so two members of my party thought they ordered the same non vegan pasta dish but they were different. We will definitely stop again the next time we are on I75 in Macon.“

“I have had wraps from here a couple of times but everytime it was a carry out due to Covid. But last night we went there to eat. I cant express in words the food was that level yummy. We ordered 2 cheese wraps and 1 falafel wrap. Both were perfectly delicious. The people that works there are amazing at making it. It was beyond my expectations compared to carry out. Besides food restaurant was clean and desert was a yum. But nothing could ever beat the warp. I highly recommend this place to everyone and recommend them to sit and eat there instead of carryout. Absolutely loved my food.“

“Will was our server and I highly suggest that you special request him he is the best I even called the manager to let him know how wonderful I thought Will was and how great the food was. I got the hamburger on rye with onion and I also got extra crispy onion rings and they were extra crispy with sour cream. “This comment is about the salad which was amazing but it's more geared to the young lady that works there. You see, I had just came from Atlanta verifying the news that I have the last stage of stomach cancer and was given two years to live. As I was sitting at the table waiting on my plate well my boyfriend and I, the tears came a flowing and the customers that was there couldn't see me crying but when this young lady saw me she asked if everything was ok and I couldn't hold the tears and I bawled like a newborn baby and what she did I knew there was a god and that would be my gi yo restaurant forever. She gave me a hug and yes I'm a hugger and she told me what ever I'm going through I will be ok and I cried on her shoulder for a bit and after i felt better. We both smiled and I left and went home. Then has I opened my salad to eat and the first bite was explosive well I would have said heaven but I can only imagine that part and I love God but not trying to go there no time soon lol so this salad was just amazing. I just had to leave this review to say that day my soul got fed just as well as my belly. Thank you young lady, you know who you are.“

So accommodating She’s willing to take a very very large party and willing to help decorate and hold my baby’s cake in the fridge. This is good service you guys. “Me and a few of my cousins took our Moms and Aunt here last weekend to eat, it was my 2nd time eating there, and we had about 12 ppl, I called a couple days ahead to see if I needed to reserve a area for us to be seated together....we're a big family, that use to have yrly reunions with big meals and all the trimmings, Ole Times was the PERFECT substitute for our gathering, the manager happily told me he would make sure we were seated together....and the staff was perfect, the food was awesome. Very fair priced and after about 2.5hrs of us eating and reminiscing we noticed a sign asking patrons to try to keep their stay under 2hrs lol....hey, ya can't blame them I was in a porkchop coma within a hour....collard greens, cabbage green beans everything was perfect and seasoned just right, I paid for my guest and cousins paid for theirs we only asked that everyone in our party leave a good tip, but we noticed waitstaff never touched the tips before we left, so not really sure how tipping works there....I'll definitely be back, and if you love southern style food and great service, I think you'll be hard pressed to find better. Again thanks for accommodating us...my apologies for overstaying the 2hrs, as we were too busy eating laughing to notice the sign lol. I guess only question is tipping allowed? And only suggestion is if foods always that GOOD and I understand 2hrs is more than enough time...maybe consider security guards or bouncers even to keep me away from those tender golden porkchops! “First off the bat, the cliches/stereotypes: I'm asian. Asians are the pickiest when it comes to asian food. Either you got it, or you don't. We are also all entitled self-proclaimed food critics lol. On top of it all, I'm a chef who loves to eat (don't trust skinny chefs btw).

This place marks all the marks in my book. Wonderful decor, personable and humble family oriented restaurant, homemade dumplings, from scratch sauces, etc.... the list goes on. This is how chinese food is suppose to be, not the PF Chang and the chains alike.

Our chicken was not quite cooked all the way thru, but we were taking a to go bag so I didn't complain we will hear it up and cook it further at home... even thought I asked for it to be well done. I won't blame the server she was sweet and patient. My kids love it here and my dranky drank was gooooood!“
