“This place is a must stop. The food was so delicious. Worth the wait!!!There were over 20 dishes on the table and you eat family style. Get there early before the line gets long. It's cash only place, there is an ATM inside and the flat rate to eat was $30. I left completely stuffed and so satisfied.Vegetarian options: Max and cheese, potatoe salad, corn bread, black eye peas, string beans, two different kinds of potatoes, candy yams and pasta dishes.“

“I took a long time to finally get to Husk, and I would say it was worth the wait. I will definitely go back the next time I take a trip to Savannah. If you are looking for just regular old commercial southern food like fried chicken and collard greens and mac and cheese, this is not the place for you, that would be cracker barrel. If you are looking for real deal old school traditional heavy southern flavors but in a modern upscale setting, then this is the place you want to be.“

“Crystal Beer Parlor wasn’t on our initial list of spots to try in Savannah, but a tour guide mentioned it’s a local favorite, so we tried it. They weren’t wrong. It’s a popular place with great food and equally as good drinks. We sat outside, so we didn’t really get a chance to experience the inside. Our server was attentive and made several recommendations. The wait was about an hour around 7pm, but it went by fast. Worth the wait! Check it out when visiting!“

“11/10. My husband and I loved everything we ate from here. Started with the calamari and French onion soup. The calamari was very fresh tasting. He got the special which was a ribeye with mushrooms and it was topped with a Demi glaze. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly and my husband said it was one of the best from a restaurant which Is a large compliment since his are cooked to perfection at home. I had the Atlantic shellfish melange and it was amazing. All the seafood in it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We finished with the crème brûlée and it was the best I’ve ever had. Let’s not forget the blueberry lemon martini I had. We sat outside and it was a perfect evening for it and we had great service. It was all so so good and we 100% will be retuning when we come back to Savannah.“

“This was my first trip to Savannah. Always look for the “best of” and indeed this spot lived up to the hype. The house made sour dough with habanero butter was devine. I started with the granita oysters which were so tasty, perfect balance. For my entree had the lamb sausage which was the best of all. Highly recommend 1540 and Trish who was helpful, on point, and really made the southern hospitality shine through.“

“My 4 star rating is not to say that the quality or taste of the food wasn't great. It's more about the limited selection of the menu. We were a group of 4 and really had a challenge to order something we were familiar or preferred. So, not any fault of the restaurant, but our mistake perhaps in not doing the research.“

“Food was wonderful and the service perfect. The standouts were the brisket, fried shrimp and oysters, brussel sprouts, Cole slaw, gumbo and crab stew. So, basically everything we ordered! I actually ordered the slaw but once my husband tasted it and liked it so much he took it from me.Also shout out to Jamal our waiter. Great recommendations from him.“

“We were in Savannah for St Patrick’s Day & looking for a good soul food restaurant. We searched & stumbled onto 2 Chefs Gullah Geechee Soul Food. The food was awesome. I had the red rice, collards, Mac & cheese & fried fish. We really enjoyed our meals & we will definitely be back next time we visit Savannah.“

“The atmosphere is very dark and sexy located at the bottom of the Alida Hotel. The service was friendly, but sometimes could lack attention. But the food quality surpasses everything, and it is definitely worth a visit. The prices are not that high you would spend just as much money as going to a P.F. Chang's or a Cheesecake Factory. This was a little bit too salty for me but for the appetizer we got CRISPY CALAMARI BANANA PEPPERS, CALABRIAN CHILIS, PARSLEY, CILANTRO, ROSEMARY AIOLI. My main entree was the best burger I have ever had. It was the first time I could eat a burger without it sliding off the bun. From the bun to the sauce to the cheese and pickles everything was perfection. RHETT SMASH BURGER TWO BEEF PATTIES, AMERICAN CHEESE, RED ONION, PICKLES, NORFOLK SAUCE, OLD BAY FRIES. And dessert was just okay for me to much cream not enough banana. BANANA PUDDING WAFERS, VANILLA PUDDING, CREAM“

“We read all the reviews and had to go see for ourselves . It is a very common place. What? I like to call hole in the wall. Nothing elaborate family owned and operated, Real plain jane. That is until the food gets to your table, that Is where the fun begins . The French toast, I believe, should be renamed, Cinnamon bun french toast. It was the best French toast, hands down, I've ever had. You can eat it without the syrup. I had the link sausage, sliced And pan fried, I could not eat it fast enough. The eggs were perfectly cooked to my order and golden crispy hash browns. My wife ordered a vegetable omelet. Which, she said, was the best she has ever had, which came with hash browns and the largest, fluffiest ,lightest biscuit ever...I can't wait to return and try their gravy dishes. I would give this restaurant a six, if the review would allow just on food quality and taste alone“

“This restaurant was fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about it! The staff was informative and attentive and made sure we always had whatever we wanted. The atmosphere is great and restaurant was clean and fun to be in from start to finish. I loved the overall atmosphere because they have made it so you have privacy with your group but there is still a larger experience of the restaurant. The drinks and bartender was fantastic and efficient! The food was also amazing! I had a series of oysters as an appetizer and then a scallop risotto that was perfectly cooked. I am Italian and super picky when it comes to risotto and this was great risotto. The scallops were perfectly cooked. My husband got a chicken Caprese which is a somewhat lighter version of chicken parm and it was flavorful and light and tender. Dessert was also fantastic. I cannot wait to come back here!“

“Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re debating it! It was delicious. My husband and I stopped 2 days in a row for their peel and eat shrimp. The butter & their seasoning to use is to die for. The shrimp are large and cooked perfectly to peel easily. The drinks were good, the food was great (we got corn chowder, Cobb salad, and the Cajun tortellini). All very good and our service was good. We definitely will come back. We may be stopping a third day in a row for the peel and eat shrimp to go for the drive home“

“Neat little place. A little odd how the meal/buffet worked. Food was really good. Service was on point. You get to choose what type of meal plate you want, then you tell the cashier what you had at checkout. The store/market in the waiting area was neat.“

“Awesome experience. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was cute. I had the crab cake Benedict and my daughter had the traditional eggs Benedict (she had poured pepper all over it in the picture, didn’t come like that lol). Both were absolutely amazing and flavorful. Only thing that was a slight disappointment was the French onion soup. Not very flavorful in comparison to the main courses:)“

“I stop and get a biscuit at all my vacation spots if I'm able. Baby, this is definitely up there as one of my top biscuits. Buttery, soft, crisp exterior that was the perfect vessel for my bacon, egg and cheese. A side a fresh squeezed orange juice completed my fulfilling quick breakfast. In a lively atmosphere, I got there early to avoid the lines. Get your favorite superpower ready and hit up this spot.“

My grandaughter enjoyed the music and so did we. Alyssa Edwards your place is awesome! Our server Karleigh was so sweet. Sweet Potatoes Kitchen“

“This place is soo good but they absolutely did me dirty on a to-go order. ?I dined in with fam and got to go for another family member and they put the rinkiest dinkiest thigh/leg in the order. Like.... shockingly small. I felt real bad for my mom. She did say it was delicious though. ??“

“Driving up from Jacksonville we happen to ask Waze where to stop for food -Miss Sophie‘s marketplace popped up and we were not disappointed! The food was excellent, the staff- friendly, the atmosphere was quaint, and the price was good for a buffet. The chocolate mousse pie was to die for and the turkey was top notch. Make note: they are only open from 11 to 2.“

“Not one thing to deride. The waiting area was expansive a nicely appointed. The hostess seated us ahead of time. Our server, Haliegh was spectacumous and the food was some of the best I've enjoyed in Savannah. Great atmosphere and weren't rushed. Well done.“

“The bbq was not the best we have had but the service was really good. The corn muffins brought ahead of the meal were freshly hand made. The Mac n cheese was good- cheesy casserole style. The value was not great which brought the overall rating down for us.“

“We went on Monday April 1, 2024 for our anniversary lunch. It wasn't busy, staff was courteous, service was fast. Music was mellow. Nice cozy comfortable place to celebrate. We both had the grilled porkchop dinner. It was delicious. I also had the Georgia Peach cocktail, it was good. I highly recommend.“
