“This is the best bar on the southside. Manny is the best bartender in my opinion. He always acknowledges you when you come in and makes sure you have a good time. Nick and a few other staff also are good about stepping in to help out it make's your experience great. This bar gives you that home away from home vibe most of us in our 30s look for.“

“The place is a little small to cause a long line. But I think of somebody came outside and took orders from the people outside the plates could be ready. But the food is good no lie. Hope they find a system to move there line faster. I love banana pudding but $10 was too much for me to pay for a small portion so I can't tell you how it taste. But I'm sure it is good

“The food here is amazing . The people are so welcoming and the customer service is phenomenal! I came in with my boyfriend that stumbled across this gem and they did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and made just like grandma house . The people are so inviting the food is so tasty this definitely gave me all reasons to come back and highly recommend . “I'm not a big fan of soul food, only because what people consider as soul food now looks like sloop & it's not good at all..... BUT baby, when I say this food was amazing, it was AMAZING. I got the vegetarian plate, I chose the Mac & Cheese, lima beans, greens, yams & for dessert peach cobbler. It was not over seasoned. Everything blended so well in my palate. I was more than satisfied. After several hrs, I was still full..lol“

“The bartender was amazing. I forgot to get her name. She actually was a bartender and went out of her way to make me a custom jalapeno/ginger margarita with mint. Amazing! Food was so good. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, smoked gouda grits with fried catfish. The spinach it came with is the best I have ever had.“

“I was looking all over Clayton County for rib tips. On a Sunday afternoon & Drove upon exactly what I was looking for. From the sweet owners with the most pleasant atmosphere. The food was well portion and the taste was unmatched. Being new to this area. I think I’ve found my new go to spot. Which I’ll be sharing with Family and friends.“

“I have eaten at multiple soul food restaurants, but this one is right up there with Elea’s in Covington, Ga and Paschal’s. You might think you are eating your grandmother’s, put your foot in it, homemade with love meal. The food was so well seasoned and delicious I got angry when my roommate threw out my leftovers. I didn’t want to slap my mama but I did want to slap my roommate (just kidding). I will be ordering again and again.“
