The potatoe ship skillet, Brussels sprouts, beet hummus and veggies, stuffed pretzel , and Caesar salad were awesome! Can’t wait to go back !”

“Went to support our friends CJ for their Sunday show, and left reminded why I love our little community so much. My girl had a tiny run-in with a beam (because… kids 😅), and before I could even gather myself, the owner was right there checking on her and on me. That kind of care says everything. Great food. “I have reviewed over 100 sushi restaurants. This is my first in GA. I was really surprised how cheap the prices were. Probably 30-40% cheaper than michigan or California. Quality of sushi was great. Decent variety. It was fresh. Sunomono salad was great and for the price had a surprising amount of fish in it. I dont like cooked rolls and between cooked and simple rolls they had a lot. But they let me customize some of the simpler rolls to be what I wanted with no complaints. Surf clam, octopus and salmon were excellent. The tuna was ok. Was still fresh but just very basic quality. Service was consistent and good. We were promptly served. Atmosphere is basic and clean.”

“My girlfriend and I were traveling back from Daytona 500. We explored the beach on a windy February day and decided to go check out the downtown area and look for lunch. We stumble into this place and we both order burgers. I ordered the black and blue burger and she ordered the cheese burger and sweet potato fries. All we talked about on our drive back was how great the burger was. It had amazing flavor inside and out. Perfectly cooked. Definitely one of the best flavored burgers we ever had. If we make it back south and need a lunch spot, I will be stopping back.”

“I’ve been a regular takeout customer for years - the food and service is always great. I usually order a curry, which they change up/rotate every day. Today when I asked what kind of curry they had, they told me “oh, we serve all of them every day now.” In a time like this when many restaurants are struggling, I thought it was worth highlighting that this place is actually expanding their services and their customers’ options! 👏👏👏”

“We got there about 20 minutes before closing. Normally I don’t like going to any restaurant unless it is at least 30 minutes before closing but we were starving and there weren’t a lot of choices. The waitress was so friendly, and the service was fantastic. We ordered pizza, wings and some cheese bread. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The pizza was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for pizza. I tipped the waitress 50% for being so great even though we got there so late. I will definitely be back.”

The shop is tiny inside, so be sure to wait until the entrance light turns green before going in. Perfect after the beach or a walk through the village. We’ll definitely be back! 🍦🐄”

“I would like to say that I’m on a diet and is a lady named Kim that works over there and she was very helpful to me and choosing what to eat then that I’m on a diet and also what to drink because I don’t need to be eating fatty foods or drinking sugary drinks. She was so helpful as saying taste of drink and if you don’t like it, give it back to me and I’ll make you something else but I told her that I’ll taste it because it was too hot at the present time and moment and I’ll let her know next time I come if I don’t like it I told her I’ll let her choose and make me something that she think that I may or may not like”

“What a wonderful treat dining in The Lodge at Sea Island Oak Room was for my wife and I. We stopped in on a slow post-Thanksgiving weekday evening and were treated to a wonderful delicious dinner. Our server Cericka was excellent. We were seated quickly by the hostess and ordered two Prosecco's. We enjoyed a delicious mini biscuits with bacon butter appetizer. My wife ordered a wonderful 6oz filet with Boursin whipped potatoes, roasted autumn veggies, and scallion steak sauce. I ordered the blackened Redfish with crab fried rice, green gumbo, and pickled Okra. Both entrees were served hot and were delicious. Bon Appetit”

“Nice location! We went around sunset and had a great view of the sky over the golf course and ocean. The big pretzel was a great appetizer and the “Pop Goes the Disco” cocktail was very tasty. Our steaks were a bit undercooked, but the rest of the meal was good. Overall, a very upscale & pricey spot for dinner.”

“Had fabulous hamburger and the best onion rings ever. Don't be mislead, they have a menu filled with great choices. The ambiance is very nice, we like sitting at the bar when it's just my wife and me. Decor is lots of dark oak, very country club feel, and even though this is part of the Sea Island Resort, this particular venue is open to the public, as is the adjoining golf shop. Golf is available only ti members and hotel guests. For golf fans, what could be more fun than dining in Davis Love's very own grill?”

My mom's Cashew Chicken had so much stuff in it, and the fried rice is TOP TIER. Massive chunks of pork, carrots and peas - I know I've already said it, but incredible. Awesome service as well by very kind and attentive servers. This is the only picture I had, because by the time I thought to review we'd already eaten almost everything, and I know this is in a "ocean" tourist area, so people think seafood...but try Fortune House out, you won't be sorry.”

The food was really really good, everyone at my table didn’t have one complaint about the food. it was so nice and clean and it wasn’t busy at all it was super quiet and relaxed, only one other table in the room that had people. I did not regret and would 100% go again, i know i’ll be craving this in the future.”

“From the moment I stepped into Sago at Sea Palms Golf Resort, I was impressed by the refined yet welcoming atmosphere. The space is beautifully maintained—immaculate, serene, and tastefully lit—creating the perfect setting for an exceptional dining experience.

I began with a smoked old-fashioned, perfectly balanced with just the right hint of sweetness and smoke, a cocktail that sets a sophisticated tone for the evening. The cabbage cream soup followed, delicate and velvety, demonstrating both restraint and depth of flavor. “For the exception of ruining my Anniversary celebration that I had planned, everything else was okay. The food was good! Drinks were just strong enough and not just watered down! View was stunning! Service was average, I had called days in advance to reserve indoor window seating to celebrate our Anniversary. I had planned a whole “thing” I was going to do near the stunning view of the window for the wife. When we arrived they pulled our information and one lady asked us “indoor or outdoor?” The other hostess told her the system said “indoor with window seating” and gave her a look of disappointment. As they walked me to my sitting area it was not window seating and table was wobbly. I was unable to do my whole “thing” I had planned and just started off the evening not on a good start, but drinks made up for it 🤷‍♂️😒”
