“I’m well overdue for this Chinese takeout (or take away) review. Top China was the closest Chinese restaurant to home when I lived in the area (literally walking distance).

I love that you can order online and pay in store because sometimes the phone doesn’t do justice to the situation.
But, shot out to Top China for honoring my written request online.

We ordered chicken wings by themselves (order of 4), chicken wings with beef fried rice combo, boneless spare ribs with vegetable fried rice, beef lo mein (add bean sprouts make spicy) and fried pork dumplings. Because we spent over $50 we received a complimentary order of sesame chicken.

I LOVE that they have bean sprouts because as I mentioned in another review, most Chinese takeout places here don’t. Their fried chicken is some of my favorite for Chinese takeout in Savannah and their beef is usually really tender and flavorful. The fried pork dumplings are great too, with or without the sauce and the sesame chicken hits but it’s a must that you eat it fresh. I’m a lo mein girl and theirs isn’t bad, but it isn’t my favorite.

I don’t think you can dine in here and I’m almost positive I didn’t see a bathroom which sucks (especially when you’re pregnant).

**I added a extra star, just noticed the notes on my food (without the additional charge) AND forgot, I asked for a cup of ice while I was there (large cup) asked her how much and she simply replied, “no, it’s okay”. I have NEVER… EVEEEEER received a free cup of ice from a Chinese restaurant. There’s always a charge lol and they never let me get ice in my reusable cup either.

Anyways, All in all, I recommend.“

“Great classic Chinese food served hot and quickly for a really good price considering the large portions. Great vegan options and they have the option of brown rice, which was important for my husband who needed healthy vegan options. They did bean curd with mixed vegetables for us.“

“We order from this place all the time, but tonight’s order was even better than normal. I always ask for General tso’s and another random chicken dish, with multiple other great apps especially the crab ragoons(best in Savannah). Tonight the general tso’s actually was extra spicy and so was the chicken chow mein. Whoever the chef was tonight, give that man a raise. All the rest of the food was amazing as well! This place stays consistently good, and recommend it as well!“

“Looks can be deceiving, this humble little establishment will woo you with its Chinese charm and delectable chicken. Upon entering the restaurant, you are met with an unwelcoming dank rank smell, but it is immediately counteracted by the hospitable woman who probably knows 15 words in English that is there to take your order. After an uncomfortable 5 minutes of waiting for your food, it is delivered through a crudely made wooden hatch, a strange method of handing over food if you ask me. The food was wonderful, I trust no one more than the elderly disgruntled master chef of a Chinese man in the back to cook my food. 5 stars.?“

“I first encountered Egg Roll King while doing food deliveries for Door Dash and the good smelled so good and most of all it was packaged securely in a nice reusable bag. The restaurant was very busy each time that I picked up from them. I love their food and I wish I could get some right now. I’m going to order a huge family order to be delivered by door dash. I love Door Dash because they have offers and discounts.“

“My first time here. Nice friendly people, place is nice and clean for a small place. I only waited about 10 minutes for my food cooked fresh. I included updated menus that are posted on the countertop window. When I was looking online I couldn't find anything recent. They accept cash only. I got a large beef and broccoli. This would be good if you can't handle strong flavors. It was cooked good it just didn't have much flavor. I put some ginger and some sauce on it, it was better. Tomorrow I will make some fried rice with my leftovers. I don't think they have an online presence so stop by and check it out. Don't forget to bring cash to tip! Use your leftover change, every bit helps.“

The only weak link was the pancakes, which seemed to be pre-made and a bit stale even after steaming at home (meal was take-out). “The food was delicious, but the waiter's attitude was terrible. I heard from a friend that they forced us to tip, but I didn't believe it at first. Today, after experiencing it myself, I realized that my friend was right. The service attitude was terrible. They didn't respond when I called them, and they were noisy and rude. As a result, when I went to the front desk to pay, the waiter followed me, asked me to swipe the card, pointed to the tip column and the name column and asked me to sign the tip and my name. The most speechless thing for me was that the lady at the front desk didn't stop them. My God, this is simply a rogue.“

“Okay so the locals come here and it maybe not on the best side of town but you can go in order your food and come out I ordered five pieces of fried chicken wings with shrimp fried rice and it's always good and quick for $7.95 so if you're visiting Savannah and you want some shrimp fried rice and chicken you don't have far to come from downtown they're right off Wheaton Street and they are good it's an old building but the food is good. Now I do believe that if you are a tourist and you're not familiar with the area around there you might want to come get your food and just not stick around when it gets dark but other than that you are good. Ohh and don't forget to get your lemonade or sweet tea as well they do have sodas if you want that but why not come to the South and get some lemonade or sweet tea. “Really enjoyed the Chinese food at Green Tea. We got a lot for what we paid for. We got the House Special which had everything in it!! Pork, Chicken, Beef and Shrimp.The reason I gave atmosphere a 3 is they could pick up the trash around the trash can and move the large trash can to another spot. “This is by far some of the freshest Chinese food in the area, My order is always ready for pick-up on arrival and is correct. I make all kinds of requests and they never miss. It's a bit small and the personnel could stand to be a bit more welcoming, but FOOD is great.“

“Who would have thought this nice buffet would be just down off of Bay Street in Garden City. I didn't have time to enjoy the dinner buffet so I ordered to go. A Shrimp Lo Mein, General Tso's chicken and two shrimp egg rolls. The eggs rolls were delicious they didn't make it home in the to-go bag. The owners are very nice and the staff is courteous.

The lunch buffet is under $15 and the dinner is under $20. The portions I received have set me up for several prepped meals for the week.“

Big enough portions I had enough for dinner also. Hell you can barely get a meal at McDonalds for that price anymore. 10/10 recommend“
