“I recently ordered takeout from This Is It! Southern Kitchen and it was absolutely delicious! I got the chitterlings dinner with greens and yams for a friend, and I ordered the greens with mac and cheese for myself. We both loved every bite. The chitterlings were tender and flavorful, the greens were perfectly seasoned, and the yams were sweet and satisfying. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich—true comfort food done right.

“It was my first time there, though I’d seen the place for years. I’d moved to another area of town so I never got a chance to dine there. I recently was in the area and craving barbecue and I remember Jim n Nick’s. Hooray! I ordered the 2lb classic rib with baked bean and Mac and cheese. The mini cheese muffins and sweet butter spread was unexpected and awesome. And 5 minutes later my order was on the table and looking delicious. When I ate the first rib I was in love, food love. The best ribs I’ve eaten so far. I am looking forward to visiting again with friends. I want to experience more items on the menu.“

I have now found not only a place in Atlanta with a fun and inviting ambiance with over the top service but also the absolute best BBQ restaurant in Atlanta, DAS BBQ! Thus far, I have had the BBQ Pork, Ribs, Brisket, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Mac N Cheese, Das Corn, Brunswick Stew, and Banana Pudding and IMHO the most important aspect, which is the meat seasoning and the sauces. No offense to my friends in the biz but DAS, hands down, has the best of each of these items! I live on the southside of ATL and gladly will drive for more DAS BBQ. Praying DAS opens on the southside of Atlanta. I will be your biggest raving fan!“

“Fantastic as always! My husband and I have been enjoying Wallace Barbecue for as long as we can remember, and nothing has changed in 35+ years. We drive an hour and a half now so we can enjoy good bbq. Don’t forget to enjoy a pickle with your meal and grab a bottle of hot sauce to keep at home!“

“The food was worth every minute of the wait. Service was efficient and professional. I got half a rack of ribs, collard greens, ox tail macaroni and cheese, and red beans and rice. I wasn't worried too much about having what amounts to a grill in the middle of our table with the kids. It's obviously hot, but it's not like you'll lose a hand if you get too close here and there. Service was great. Our server was Yuki. He was very attentive, and explained how it worked, and answered any questions. When our food arrived, Yuki told us exactly what each item was, and exactly how long to cook it per side. Not a cheap place to go, especially with kids, but a nice treat after an otherwise fun-filled day with other new first experiences.“

“Kinda a weird setup. Just went through the drive. Luckily there wasn't too much of a line when I arrived. Got 2 biscuits. Bacon egg and cheese, and just plain. It was pretty good just a little too doughy and heavy for me. I would come back. Oh and I like the Apple and Eve Orange pineapple juice they sell“

He is genuine. He is working hard. And he’s trying. He knows it’s frustrating and he’s tried to make every attempt to help solve the problem. But at the end of the day, he’s doing the best he can.

The food is stupid good. Straight up. It’s worth the wait if you can spare the time. And I appreciate his work effort and empathy. And of course, his masterful approach to bbq.

“Really disappointing. We used to go here when it was owned by Sam and Dave. That was a long time ago. Recent visits convinced us not to go any more. Both pork and beef dishes were primarily fat, and the potato salad was dry with weird texture around the edges. And don't get me started on the lack of cleanliness. Sitting at a booth, the wooden walls were filthy--really disgusting. No, I don't own or work at or know anyone who has a competing bbq place. Just can no longer recommend this one.“

“My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. “I ordered Eru & fufu, okra soup and Jollof rice. The eru was so good ? , I enjoyed the jollof rice & goat meat.My only complaint will be the okra that didn’t tasted fresh. “That sandwich was so good. The toasted bread, cheddar cheese, onion ring, bacon slices on BBQ shredded pork and sauce! Down by the scream machine area. When you enter the park go right then take the right by kiddie Park rides and hook left towards that food court area across from ice cream dots.i ate outside and someone threw a white object with black spot hitting me on my right ear from behind. Gotta watch your back and front in this world. The good news it wasn't painful or damaging to my day or meal.

“It's a food truck. It's hard to find good fried fish in Cobb. I ordered the fried whiting with sides of collards and rice n beans. The fish was fried and seasoned perfectly, not salty at all. The rice and beans were the best I ever had. I wonder if they sell a pint size of the rice and beans. The collards were good, too. I loved the food, a good value for the money. I will definitely stop by the next time I'm in that part of town.“
