Food was seasoned very well, I ordered again 2 days later and discovered a hookah bar next to it owned by the same owner. I had to stop in and support.“

The staff brought a container of fresh outta the grease catfish for us to sample as we waited for our food. It was delicious ! We ordered some of everything on the menu and it was all amazing, cooked to order, and so flavorful. I brought a piece of sweet potato pie back to the hotel for dessert and can't wait to try it. On their web page, it appears they are moving from Boxete to their own spot in Tucker, GA in a few weeks. This gem is terrific and they offer a catering menu as well. The prices are great, too.“

“LISTEN TO ME!!! The people did not like lie, this food is sooo good!! I read the reviews and decided to go see myself. I ordered the catfish, collard greens, Mac and cheese and sweet yams. My stomach is so thankful!! My intentions were to take the food home to eat but once I took a look in the plate I decide to just take a lil taste...oh baby baby, wrong move! My behind sat my purse down and went to town on this plate and I am not one to usually sit and eat in order to go places. If you got an itch for some real soul food, you won't be disappointed at all!!! “Nah. This might be the BEST Soul Food I had in ATL. The Mac and Cheese was what it was supposed to be! Amaze! And the Collards, I don’t know what they put in it but baby! When I tell you I always add hot sauce to my greens no matter what and almost went back in to ask for some… then I tasted it and it was so full of flavor (not spice) that I didn’t even need the hot or want to mess up what it was already givin’!

I only had three sides but I’m coming back to try a full on meal! Inshallah

“I tried this place for lunch and I am glad I made the trip. Their service was friendly and answered my questions about possible options to get. I went with the jerk ribs rice & peas cabbage and a side of plantains. The only thing that was left were the bones. Sure enough some of that sauce was on my shirt. If you pick up the ribs with your hands just be ready to catch them with your plate. They fall off the bone type of ribs. There was some bbq sauce but blended well with the season. The cabbage was seasoned and tasted freshly cooked. Let's talk about the plantains. Perfectly cut and cooked. I can't even get that can of plantain quality in a Spanish restaurant. Best I have had. They do have a lunch special and plenty of side options. My only regret is not trying their juice. Next time I am trying the jerk chicken and stew.“

“So I ordered the lasagna, the taste was very good but I must say the portion was very disappointing. It came in a little square container that you would put a side dish in. I’ve never ordered a lasagna that was that tiny so yea consider offering at least two slices and surround those slices with marinara to make an appropriate serving size. The lemon cake was pretty good it was moist and the lemon flavor was not overpowering.“

“I hardly know where to begin with this review because this visit for a quick lunch became a whole experience. The customer service is exceptional and on point from the time you enter the building. The building itself is designed to let you really enjoy your food with multiple TVs and a massive projector screen. While my daughter and I waited for our food we were straight catered to. You can select your own show or movie or watch YouTube at a smaller bar or relax in reclining chairs. There are multiple sections to sit in so you can really enjoy the company you bring in your own private section. The food was hot, the wings were crispy, and even the ranch is the good one. I got the BLT and my daughter got garlic Parmesan wings. The fries are actually cooked well until golden and seasoned like they should be. Everything was delicious and the comfort is unmatched. You won't find better food or better service at better prices. Definitely check it out.“

“I am so glad I found this gem!! I just moved to Atlanta from Boston (where there’s Haitian food everywhere) so I was little bummed out that there aren’t really Haitian spots out here. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“

“The empanadas are very good and the default sauce is pretty good. They used to be overpriced, but prices have adjusted down some which is good to see. Combos do not come with drinks. We only got two sauces with 3 3 piece empanada trios which I'm assuming was just overlooked, but I do know they want to charge if you ask for extra sauces. The chicken itself is expensive for what it is and I probably won't give it a chance. I just can't justify paying the price to try it when good chicken is available all over the place nearby. Service was slow we waited outside for at least 20 minutes for our food.“

“I visited this cozy little restaurant and really enjoyed the warm atmosphere. The assorted pepper soup and beans with fried plantain were both delicious and well-prepared. However, the service was a bit clumsy, as only one person was serving all the customers, which made things a bit slow and disorganized. The owner came out to assist at some point, and she was very pleasant and welcoming. That said, they definitely need more hands on deck to improve efficiency and service flow. With better staffing, this place could really shine.“
