“Don’t know where to start. Finally, an authentic caribbean/Jamaican restaurant in ATL. The food as well as the service is top notch, and quite frankly, this place deserves more than 5 stars. Their drinks are great as well—the Bob Marley and the rum punch, are my favorite drinks. What I love most about this place is that it makes you feel like you are back on the islands. From the music to the food—it makes you feel as though you transported to Jamaica. Everything I had so far was excellent (pls try their patties and coco bread —to meIt is the best I have had since moving to ATL 3 yrs ago from Brooklyn) and their brunch is on point! “Ms. Icey's is a vibe! My husband and I decided to stop in for dinner on Saturday evening around 8pm. The restaurant wasn't super crowded at least on the inside. The patio area was pretty packed. We were immediately greeted and seated by the host as the DJ played all the hits! Our waiter CJ (I believe) was super friendly and recommended a few drink options which were great! For our food: We originally planned to order Jerk Burgers but they were sold out! We ended up ordering Jerk Ribs with mac and cheese and Jerk Chicken with rice and peas, everything was very tasty! The owner of the restaurant came over to greet us and chatted for a while, which was a great gesture! He was very friendly and welcoming. We definitely plan to come back here for brunch! We enjoyed this place so much that I also recommended it to a few others! Give this place a try!“

“My family and I have been coming here since it first opened and we have absolutely loved eating their chicken! It is currently our favorite and #1 place for pollo a la brasa (peruvian rotisserie chicken) in GA. Although not the best peruvian restaurant overall, it surely beats all others only with their really outstanding chicken. If you want to find even better chicken, you'd have to go many hours away to other states.It's great priced, good quality (mainly the chicken), and well portioned.Pollo a la brasa 9/10- It's really juicy and flavorful! It outranks other peruvian restaurants that offer pollo a la brasa in Georgia through its portion size and notable quality of authentic spices of the marinade flavor. The strong and greatly seasoned flavors from the spices is embedded deep into the chicken meat and is not just skin deep like other peruvian restaurants. It was bursting with all the right flavors but was missing the most authentic one, and that is the wood-fired smoky flavor that comes from using a wood fired oven instead of a regular oven. One thing I enjoyed a lot was that the fries were actually crunchy and not soggy like most other restaurants have them. They are not homemade and seem to be frozen fries but it's better than soggy fries. Like in any other restaurant, it can vary depending on their product inventory and who is cooking the fries. Despite that, the fries were not seasoned and rely on the sauces to make up for it.Sauces 8/10- flavorful but not my favorite. The sauces have good herbal taste but lack other flavors and salt.It's the right flavor but just lacks a special touch. I recommend adding salt and a touch of zest from vinegar or a few drops of lemon. Regardless, it pairs well with the chicken and fries. The salad vinaigrette is delicious and well made.Arroz chaufa side 2/10 - the thing I least recommend here. Although it looks delicious on picture, the flavor is bland.It's lacking everything that authentic peruvian fried rice would offer. They definitely focused on the quality of the chicken more than this side.Kid-friendliness: Which kid doesn't love chicken? If not, there is salchipapas that kids often enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: No dislevels to reach the restaurant and both the ordering counter and tables would pose no issues for those in a wheelchair.“

“I have been frequenting The Beverly since July ‘21 usually immediately after work on a week day. Great drinks and awesome finger food in an excellent location is the draw. But on Sunday my husband and I went in for “brunch”…. Let me tell y’all, the atmosphere combined with the perfect weather on the patio was perfect. The wait staff was very attentive, and the food came out fast! They have a robot waiter, which was really cool. The robot waiter delivered the food and beverages to the tables. It was also accompanied by a person to ensure smooth service. The food was good. The callaloo was the only thing that was not the greatest for me. It was chopped up one time, too many, which made it mushy, and it was dry. Somehow, it tasted better when I reheated it the next day??‍♀️Now I don't know WHO made their cornbread, but, MY GOD, TUHDAY!! It was so light, fluffy, and moist! My usual place was too far out so I decided to pull up Yelp and find a closer spot. This place wasn't close from where I was but there were cars in the lot so I trusted it.
