I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken (white meat) with Mac n' Cheese and Parmesan Broccolini. The chicken was absolutely 'bussin'—perfectly seasoned and so moist. The Mac n' Cheese was so incredible that I had to order two servings!

I really appreciate the transparency on the menu, noting that the meal takes about 22 minutes to prepare. Knowing that Jay, the owner and chef, is personally crafting the food makes the wait totally worth it for that level of quality.

To drink, I had both the Peach and Watermelon Margaritas—at only $10 each, they were delicious and a great deal. My best friend joined me and loved her Atlanta Heat Lemon Pepper Wings too.

I have to mention also how well the food was packaged up. Great job on packaging!
We had some of the best catfish I've ever eaten in Georgia. For sides we had Collards, mac and cheese, yellow rice and green beans. All the sides were good, well seasoned and tasty. The Chef let us sample the baked chicken while we waited and I was blown away. It was perfectly flavored and better than my own baked chicken. Definitely getting it next time. The Cornbread muffins are a bit sweet but tasty as well and pair well with the savory meat seasoned collard greens. We also had whole chicken wings. They were outstanding to me. Hubby felt they were too big but still tasty. Lol!
We spent about 60.00 which was a bit more than planned. Was it worth it? Yes a thousand times yes! Please check this place out even if you don't live in the area. It's worth the drive and the price. Don't sample it in your car or you will eat it all before getting home. The food is that good!“

“Tried this restaurant on a lark. Outstanding! We had the lamb chops green beans and broccoli. Excellent. And the red velvet cake topped off a great meal. It is definitely on my "new favorites " list and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great meal.“

“Had the most incredible experience at Red Rice Restaurant here in Atlanta. The food was amazing, but what made it unforgettable was meeting the owner — a fellow New Yorker with the most beautiful spirit. We instantly bonded over our shared roots, entrepreneurship, growth, and wanting more for ourselves.

She shared a bit of her journey with us — how COVID led her into the world of cooking, and how it became her passion. Watching her move through the restaurant laughing with customers, joking with her kids, and genuinely loving what she does was truly inspiring. The whole space feels like love, family, and purpose.

As a pescatarian, I was SO happy with the options — I enjoyed the salmon, fried shrimp, baked mac & cheese, garlic string beans, and of course their signature red rice (comes with every meal and is so good). And that’s just a small piece of the menu!

“I tried this place for lunch and I am glad I made the trip. Their service was friendly and answered my questions about possible options to get. I went with the jerk ribs rice & peas cabbage and a side of plantains. The only thing that was left were the bones. Sure enough some of that sauce was on my shirt. If you pick up the ribs with your hands just be ready to catch them with your plate. They fall off the bone type of ribs. There was some bbq sauce but blended well with the season. The cabbage was seasoned and tasted freshly cooked. Let's talk about the plantains. Perfectly cut and cooked. I can't even get that can of plantain quality in a Spanish restaurant. Best I have had. They do have a lunch special and plenty of side options. My only regret is not trying their juice. Next time I am trying the jerk chicken and stew.“

“I am so glad I took a chance in placing an order with this restaurant. I wanted turkey wings but they were out so I ordered the salmon. The salmon came over a bed of jambalaya rice. When I tell you the salmon was seasoned perfectly with the perfect crisp just the way I like it. I ordered macaroni and cheese as my 1 side. The amount of macaroni and cheese was plentiful. Really good portion sizes. I could not finish the macaroni and cheese by myself. I just pray the next time I order I'm just as satisfied. The building itself is designed to let you really enjoy your food with multiple TVs and a massive projector screen. While my daughter and I waited for our food we were straight catered to. You can select your own show or movie or watch YouTube at a smaller bar or relax in reclining chairs. There are multiple sections to sit in so you can really enjoy the company you bring in your own private section. The food was hot, the wings were crispy, and even the ranch is the good one. I got the BLT and my daughter got garlic Parmesan wings. The fries are actually cooked well until golden and seasoned like they should be. Everything was delicious and the comfort is unmatched. “I am so glad I found this gem!! I just moved to Atlanta from Boston (where there’s Haitian food everywhere) so I was little bummed out that there aren’t really Haitian spots out here. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“

We only got two sauces with 3 3 piece empanada trios which I'm assuming was just overlooked, but I do know they want to charge if you ask for extra sauces. The chicken itself is expensive for what it is and I probably won't give it a chance. I just can't justify paying the price to try it when good chicken is available all over the place nearby. “I visited this cozy little restaurant and really enjoyed the warm atmosphere. The assorted pepper soup and beans with fried plantain were both delicious and well-prepared. However, the service was a bit clumsy, as only one person was serving all the customers, which made things a bit slow and disorganized. The owner came out to assist at some point, and she was very pleasant and welcoming. That said, they definitely need more hands on deck to improve efficiency and service flow. With better staffing, this place could really shine.“
